The oldfashined appartments are in an old not maintained building.
The old airconditioning was leaking therefor we could not use it. We could als not use the bathroom light because of the leaking wather. The owner promised by email to give a discount. After lot of emails still no money back after a bad and hot stay. The owner always says yes but does no.
The Location is directly on the Dizengoff St. , plenty of Bars, Restaurant and Shops, also served by buses to the Center.
The bad maintenance of the Apartment. Loud traffic at Night.
I read through many negative reviews on Dizengoff but after staying there for almost 2 weeks I claim most issues in the negative reviews are either not true or have been fixed by the hotel. Dizengoff is a high quality serviced apartment not a hotel. You don't get a mirrored lift and a fountain and 3 receptionists in the lobby, but you don't get to pay for that as well. You get two rooms, each with a new bed, and a small kitchenette. Bathroom is small, but everything is working. The furniture is basic but if you want an extra chair or a rack to dry your towels on, just ask Wanda, the manager. She is at the reception when you need her, your room gets cleaned regularly. Security is high, walls and doors are bombproof. Location is superb, 5 min walk to the beach 5 min walk to the former port with the cafes and shops, lots of restaurants nearby. In short Dizengoff beach is an extremely good value for money and you don't compromise on anything important.
Dizengoff is a busy street with a quite a few buses stopping in front of the hotel. It is an obvious plus but sleeping in the living room if it faces Dizengoff street was a problem.
Absence of reception staff
Dirty floor, almost none of the lights worked. The lock didn't work as well, and the owner went to a meeting so we had to leave the room unlocked. They lowered th ceiling in the shower so I couldn't stand up straight while showering (I'm 196cm tall, but still...). Too bad, when we stayed there two years ago we had a good experience.
apartmant is big. they lived us stay longer for check-out everything was ready when we arrived even there is no reception near to beach
it is quite dark apartmant, maybe some renovation for bathroom
The place is run down and below any standards even for third world countries. Tel aviv is a great place to visit but not from these apartments.
Big apartment, close to bus station and beath, nice oil paintings in the room
Nice balcony with a decent view.
For Americans it would be the equilvalent of staying in a dorm room but was apartment size. It was not in great condition either.
Great situation, on Dizengoff Street, one of the main and buzzing streets of Tel-Aviv - being so close to the beach is obviously an asset. The staff is absolutely great, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Definitely a nice place to stay for a group of friends.
ZANDA, receptionist was amazingly friendly and helpful. Please let her know that we were happy how she treated us. The location was great.
We only stayed for one day so did not matter so much. no lobby no front entrance. just good to come and sleep. Good for the money but nothing exciting.
Nice appartments with very convinient location. it is just near to the beach. there are some restrants and supermarkets near this flat. Apartment includes one bedroom, one drawing-room with small kitchen corner, plus bathroom. As result, nice place for rest for family up to 4 persons. I believe, the requests regarding some cocruaches are truth, but it is not big problem. When we came to the flat, one of them met us for saying welcome and after that he went out.
It is fool self-service in this apartments. We did not see any owners or service persons when we had check in and check out and during our habitation time.
Zanda, location, apartment, everything
Many good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Beach just few minutes.
Apartment was spacious, located near a public beach, shops and restaurants. The public bus stop was at the hotel on one of the main streets.
bathroom was poorly cleaned
Check in and check out were extremely easy, and the staff was nice. The price is low, which makes it a viable option for getting away for a night, but I cannot imagine staying there for more than 1 night.
I know it's not the Hilton, but the place wasn't the cleanest, it had a weird smell, and the bathroom was suspect. Also, the host forgot to let us know how to get into the building at night. Not a place for families!
Ocean and sun
Dirt in the hotel and nose from workers on the roof
Amazing staff, helped whatever the issue was about, the location is perfect and the rooms are good as well,
Its a big appartment close by the sea with nice little café's/restaurants around.
It was very noisy outside, mainly the garbage collectors in the middle of the night.
near the sea
Very noisy.Traffic noise.Beds noisy.Cockroaches. Elevator sometimes dont work. Stairs dirty. In one of our rooms no toiletpaper.
Street noise. Noising beds. 2 of 4 pillows without pillowcase.Smell. Cockroaches.
Great location, the staff were helpful and very easy going. We arrived very late and everything was arranged for our entry. The beach and many cafés were on our door step.
It needs a make over and some maintenance (ie door handles falling off). First impression were very poor but we warmed to the place because it had everything we needed but you wouldn't want to spent too much time in your room.
Zanda the receptionist was very welcoming and very helpful (when she was there!). Location was good
Very run down, needs upkeep and lots of repairs. It would be suitable for students. Will not be returning.
