Most staff were friendly. The hotel is clean and well-managed.
The rooms are really tiny, the only place to put your luggage is below the bed. My room had no window. If you change your booking on-site, don't expect them to return your money!
Good location, excellent staff attention, quirky, great breakfast
room was a little small
Staff, location, food
Size of room
Excellent breakfast. Great location near the beach. Welcoming staff. Comfortable bed. Powerful shower. We were given a free upgrade to an executive room.
The facilities and rooms are beautifully decorated. The staff were gracious, friendly, welcoming and helpful in every way. We absolutely loved our stay. The included breakfasts were interesting, luscious and huge. Everything in the room and bathroom was very compact and every inch was used efficiently, including the space under the bed for luggage storage.
An extremely minor quibble. The bathroom sink was very small and hard to use for more than hand washing. The price for the wonderful location near the beach in Tel Aviv was undoubtedly very fair, but we are accustomed in our travels to trying to pay a bit less.
The staff couldn't have been nicer - we got very personal attention. The hotel is lovely..beautifully decorated. Location is perfect - in a hip neighborhood, a few blocks from the ocean and the action - yet quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!
Bathroom was tiny..hard to avoid getting floor wet during shower. Room needs a few hooks, eg on the door, & a large mirror.
quirky hotel in a great position. Outstanding breakfast and very nice staff.
Room ridiculously small and bathroom very ordinary. Hotel very hard to find and impossible to get a car nearby to unload/ load luggage
very friendly, proactive stafft
Small size of the room and the fact that it didnt have any windows.Tiny wash room, can call this a bathroom.
My boyfriend and I came for a few nights stay. When we first arrived, the staff was very friendly- greeted us outside and helped us with our luggage, and provided us a lot of information about tel aviv. The hotel definitly has a "boutique" feel- and has a lot of charm. What stood out the most to us is the breakfast. This is worth coming back for!! They allow you to chose anything off the menu and it was included in the price of the stay. There was fabulous yogurt and granola with a ton of fruit on it, delicious eggs benedict, french toast, a spicy egg dish that was to die for, etc. The portions were big too! I could rave on about the breakfast.
The biggest downfall for us was the size of the room and the fact that it didnt have any windows. It was small and the bath tub/shower was sort of part of the room only seperated by a piece of glass. It was hard not to get water all over the floor when we took showers. That being said, the room was very clean and charming other than the size and lack of windows. You can tell that the hotel really tried it make the best with the space they had. Also, we booked the hotel at the last minute so it was the last available room of the weekend. I am sure the rest of the rooms are more spacious/have windows.
Decoration and location.
The single room at usd 155 is overpriced !! Tiny wash room, can call this a bathroom. Carpet of the room disgusting !! Same in the entrance hall: carpet disgusting and smelly all over the place !! Breakfast is poor: included in the room but ONLY 1 coffee, no refill !! One juice, no refill !!! Only 1 dish to puck up from menu. Additional bread ? U hve to pay for it !! And bfast staff not really nice !! Unbelievable for the price of the room you have to beg for a decent bfast !!! Wld not recommand this hotel as for this kind of price, the choice is wide to other hotels ! This is more a up standard guest hse than a hotel.
Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Unique and alternative to big impersonal hotels. Great breakfast that was included in price, choosing off the menu. Short walk to the market, museums, etc., and the beach.
Our room was small and our suitcases were big, , which would have been a problem if we wanted to hang out in it a lot besides sleeping.
breakfast delicious staff very polite and friendly
there are 2 rooms (n3-n9) without real Windows and very little also for 1 person the terrace is not like in the pictures in the evening all the hotel smell like the restaurants kitchen the batroom so little and dark the climatisation a little bit noising
Incredibly friendly, welcoming owners and staff; wonderful breakfasts; great location; comfortable bed and nicely furnished room; sunny balcony
Room size is small (and ours was among the largest rooms); WC very confining
Adrian, the front desk manager, was wonderful and helpful. In addition to being helpful with anything room related, he was able to tell me where I could find live music in the area, right away. The hotel is in a residential area which I loved and right near the Camel Market (I think that is the name of the market), which had a wide and delicious variety of foods. Breakfast was included and had an extensive menu of food and drink options. My cafe au lait was excellent. I did not actually eat the breakfast food but it looked good and the portions were large. The hotel is also close to the water and in walking distance to Jaffa (about 2km).
The room had a very strong scent (floral potpourri-esque), which I found overwhelming. The room had a window but it opened to the hallway so did not have access to direct fresh air.
Superb breakfast. Helpful staff fluent in English. Good location near Carmel market. Restaurant was convenient for good dinner.
Budget room was cramped but expected from other reviews. Shower was tricky to adjust. Poor lighting, especially for shaving. Neighborhood somewhat shoddy and rundown.
very friendly, proactive stafft
The staff were all excellent to us--at the desk, in the bistro, cleaning the room. Great food in the bistro, super cute rooms, walking distance to cafes, the beach, great shopping. We were just so impressed.
The place is a little hard to find--my only comment would be to add some additional info for non-Hebrew speaking people to help communicate with drivers who are not English speakers.
Little slice of quirky luxury in the middle of a bustling area
Our room had the air con unit above and it was a tad noisy with vibration
Very nice hotel, good central location close to the famous caramel market, friendly staff, top quality in every detail. Top breakfast. All in all we were very happy. Very good value for money.
The only problem for certain type of guests might be that some rooms don't have a window to the outside world. But the excellent design and decorations will make you almost forget about it, especially if you don't plan to spend too much time inside your room.
Great breakfast. Very nice decor. Best staff I have seen anywhere.
My room had very poor wifi but right outside the door, it was great!?!
Did not meet my expectation. The interior design was quite bad taste. There was some problem with the booking and it felt like the staff didnt tell the truth. I would not go there again.
Great service. Went above and beyond when I asked for help arranging taxi and local recommendations
wonderful designer postcards available!
Everything was perfect: hotel, restaurant, location. Close to all amenities and atractions. Highly recomended. Best wishes for the owners!
