Noisy maintenance/renovation work being done in room next to ours during the afternoon when we were trying to rest. No warning was given to us. Requested a different room but were told there wasn't one available. The hotel is very, very, basic: more like a budget pension from the 1970's.
Nice breakfast, clean room, good wi-fi. Good value for money.
Some minor things were lacking, but nothing that would influence the comfort of our stay. It's a 3* hotel, one of the cheapest, so we did not expect much. No attraction within a walking distance (we had a car, so that was not a problem for us).
The room was clean and the breakfast was good.
The location are in residencial area our taxi driver having a hard time looking for it, the air condition not that cold, there is no toothpaste on the room.
Convenient and clean. Spartan but comfortable.
Probably not luxurious enough for a prolonged stay but fine for a couple of nights.
Owners warm, friendly people. Excellent staff.
Breakfst and all the people very service oriented. You see there is love in it. We have a car then it was easy to park and the Humus bar was great!
I was travelling with my mom to Jerusalem and we found Eden hotel. The crew was very nice and helpful. They have an elevator which was very important to us. The hotel is Clean and simple and breakfast was rich and fresh. We. we were surprised by the high value we got. This hotel is simple, clean an
Hotel might be a bit ''away'' for someone with no car. Although the old city, City of David, the tower are really only 1.5 mile away
We were upgraded to a one bedroom unit which was good as we were travelling with our 20 year old daughter. Peaceful suburb. Provided packed breakfast as we left early.
As in all hotels we stayed in in Israel, wifi was only useful in the hotel's foyer.
The manager and staff were all very hospitable. Lin left me a note giving me all the relevant instruction to the bus station in her own writing - a very personal touch.
Clean, quiet, comfortable, good service, parking
Breakfast was a bit disapointing when compared to the Israeli standard
-we had a suite which was large and roomy (as was the bathroom) -breakfast was included and well presented with varied items. coffee was great -very relaxing atmosphere -parking was easy
-the hotel was very well suited to our budget and tastes
Nice quiet neighbourhood, but very close to major bus routes and an easy stroll to plenty of eating options and evening entertainment. Possible to walk to the Old City and see things on the way.
Close to many touristic sites
Not suitable for small children
staff is very helpful in every way! we ask about the sites, the restaurant, even the price of the oil. room is clean and decent. quite location with many bus to the old city.
wifi never work...
Excellent value for the money. We will be there again at our next visit in Jerusalem. Very clean.
Very good location away from the city in a residential area. It is a 40 minute walk to the Old City and Jaffa Gate from the hotel. The beds were good and it was a very quiet location which made for an excellent sleep. The breakfast was good. Value for the money.
Very quiet location. Rich breakfast. Even if it is quite far from old town, it is easy to get there by bus. Bus stop is only 5min walk from hotel.
The pictures are nicely taken but reality is not that pretty. We had moldy bathroom.
The location is in a residential part of the city with some bus connections (5min walk to bus). The rooms are adequate for the price paid. We liked the power showers.
The breakfast selection could have been better to include fresh fruits, different types of eggs and cheese. The reception could have been more informative about ways to get to the centre and restaurants in the area.
Yuval and Line were warm and gracious hosts. The location is a short distance from the promenade overlooking much of Jerusalem, including the old city. The facility is clean and comfortable. The breakfast consisted of delicious Israeli fare which we could eat in the dining room with others, or on our balcony overlooking the beautiful neighborhood. Overall, a beautiful, quiet retreat away from the action of town yet close enough to walk to commercial districts with friendly staff and wonderful service.
very bad quality 2 stars hotel! miserable breakfast. If you go during the Peach periode only horrible unleavened bread is available. I understand now whay this hotel was the only one available in Jerusalem against a normal price. But 300 USD per night for this hotel is realy a theft!
Staff was very nice and location was great being one mile from old city
This is a property in need of a face lift. No queen beds just singles through out. Bathroom was a bomb shelter converted into a bathroom.
Good value, yummy variety of salads for breakfast, helpful staff. Could sleep 4 of us in a one bedroom unit with a couch that became 2 separate beds for my children. Free wifi in room. A nice location if you have a car and don't want to stay downtown. Walking to the Haas promenade was a huge plus.
Room decor was worn, moldy bathroom walls should be repainted. Faucet broken upon arrival. Clean sheets, though, and hotel replaced faucet ASAP so this turned into a plus for their responsiveness.
This is a small but lovely hotel in a nice residential neighborhood in Jerusalem.
