The quiet location of the hotel. The large amount of breakfast.

The distance from attractions in Jerusalem requiring either long distances from nearest bus stops or, expensive taxi fares.

Great manager. Responsive staff. Outside city in nice neighborhood and close to restaurants. Good value, nice breakfast. Would stay there again.

Happy with it overall. No negative to report.

They say that Jerusalem has high prices for low standandards in general. Maybe this is why this hotel has such a good ratings, because it is not bad one, it is simply OK

Nevertheless for this money, we lived in the very centre of tel aviv in amazing apartment. Here the room is small, very simply furnished with noisy air conditioning, there is few channels in the tv (one in English and one in German others in Hebrew) and the bathroom is more shabby than anything else with no shampoo. It is around 3km from the centre. It is definitely liveable, but for this money, I usually get different standard.

30 mins walking distance to old town is some bit too far.

The room was clean; the folks at the front desk were always helpful; and, the price was very fair.

The only thing we noted was they didn't serve cereal after it ran out the first day of our stay. They did not purchase it again for the rest of our stay. I note this because we are not big salad eaters in the morning.

Quiet residential area. Staff was excellent in arranging tours, recommendations. Room was ok.

Location is isolated from tourist attractions. Bus connection to Old City is not convenient, requiring a 20 minute walk from the downtown stop to the old city. Taxi is the way to go, but it's about $10 each way, each day.

The Eden Hotel is situated in a quite residential location. Very close to the promenade which gives fabulous view of the city. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great value for money and a cute BnB atmosphere.

Around 30min walk or 10min bus into central Jerusalem. Very basic facilities. Can be cold at night close to the window (even when the windows are closed) - could do with double glazing.

Rooms clean but very basic. First room we were given had no drawers and no mirror.secondwasmore acceptable . Needs painting.

Rooms were clean, spacious and well kept. We even had a kitchenette (sink, counter, fridge, & coffee maker) right in our room. There was a good mix of business and family travelers. There was also a nice variety of food for breakfast and each morning offered some different options. There was always parking available right in front of the hotel. It was priced right and not too far from the Old City, plus there is a bus stop near by.

Sometimes wifi access from the room was a little difficult. Maybe sporadic is the best word for it. But there was always a good signal in the lobby.

Nice area,near to public transport good breakfast,wi fi in all areas in the hotel, free use of computer in the lobby. Close to local shops and restaurants. Really nice atmosphere and very pleasant owners and staff.

When we arrived the lady from the night shift was very kind and helpful. She helped us out with all the infos what we needed. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was really big and nice.

The location was convient for my stay. Easy for transportation.

The facility was not as clean as I wxpected. The daily cleaning was not up to standards. We let them know but they still did not clean as well as expected!

Staff, parking outside of the hotel, breakfast, shampoo/soap dispensers, fresh towels daily, airco, IR-heater in the bathroom, shower cabin, kettle, coffee/tea in the room. Supermarket is in 10 min walking distance. Dead sea is 1-2 hours drive.

A bit far from old city. Maybe a good idea for hotel management to have a shullte bus to old city in the morning and in the evening back? Food prices in Israel are very high.

The room was dirty with layers of dust on the floor; the hotel needs urgent renovation; there was no phone in the room and the internet connection did not work. Sheets had holes etc.The Eden hotel would hardly qualify as a 2 star hotel.

The rooms are pretty clean, the staff is very helpful and polite and its overall a good value for the money (paid about 60$ a night), if you don't expect anything fancy. The area is quiet and safe to walk about. There is a kettle in the room with teas and instant coffee - it comes quite handy.

The hotel is situated in a well-to-do Jewish residential area (Arnona), but without any tourist attractions in the vicinity, if you care. If you don't have a vehicle be prepared to take buses (2 min walk) to go to the downtown or/and the Old City - none of these are in a (reasonable) walking distance. Be also prepared to walk some 15-20 min to get to decent restaurants (Moshava ha-Germanit area). None of these matters, of course, if you have a car (parking is free on the street). Do bring your own shampoo and soap.

The hotel is 2.5km from the old city, main touristic spot in Jerusalem. So you gotta walk 20-30 min to reach the hotel or to use the.bus or taxi to resh for around $2 & $9 respectively
