Unique location in the desert. We had the chance to take a botanical tour with an old Kibbuzim and could see the wonderful opening of the Queen of the Night. The view out of our room was splendid. Nothing

The bird songs hit you as soon as you park. The plants. The Ibex roaming around the grounds. The food in the dining room and in the cafe. The amazing scenery - mountains on one side and the dead sea on the other. Nachal David, with its waterfalls in the middle of the desert. They upgraded my room for free. Dining room dinner was pricy at 130 shekel per person. I passed. But considering the quality of the free breakfast, perhaps it would have been worth it. Not all sites are clearly marked. E.G. ancient synagogue at Nachal David site.

Amazing garden Accommodations are pretty average given the price yet it is a very pleasant place to stay. The view on the Dead Sea and mountains from the swimming pool is amazing.

Beautifully situated; Nice botanical garden in the kibbutz around the hotel; Large pool Was pretty expensive; maybe because of no competition in En Gedi

Privacy, space, no crowds, gardens, bar meals, spa direction signs could be improved - we missed the way to the pool, bar and reception once or twice.

The beach on the dead sea, the gardens all around, the great food!!! The location and beauty of the area. The pool is great too. It's gotten a bit commercial and is leaning towards becoming an elite spa Preserve the place without becoming too expensive!!!

The hotel was extraordinary. Room was located in the beautiful botanical garden (in the middle of desert landscape). Nice, quiet spa with one pool filled with the Dead Sea water. Very nice and ample breakfast. Excellent alternative to the other standard crowded and located all in one place hotels on the Israeli shores of the Dead Sea. We did not like the “Ein Gedi Beach” on the shore of the Dead Sea (free entrance for the hotel guests). It was overcrowded, noisy and actually far away from the sea itself. The mud was available only from the barrels. “Kalia Beach” was much nicer and the mud was naturally on the shore.

Lovely location perched above the Dead Sea offering a shuttle to the private beach. Breakfast and dinner at the dining room was convenient and delicious. Staff were helpful and friendly. The pool area was very nice. Private beach closed by 5pm but a public beach is available if you have your own transportation. The rooms were a little older, but well maintained.

Location is unique. The rooms are old and run down, almost no comfort. Looks like a youth hostel – only way too expensive.

Very good breakfast and dinner, the spa is also nice. Very nice activities, like a small concert with piano and voice. It's too expensive for what it offers. Dinner was not included and it was very expensive. The rooms are good but nothing more than the average. The access to the dead sea is made through another spa, which is 5 minutes by car. The place is nice but should be cheaper...

We are return visitors to this lovely and pristine paradise. This time it was still better, since a spa with sauna, hammam (no steam in the hammam, but the sauna was nice) and a pool with the Dead Sea water appeared immediately in the kibbutz in addition to the spa on the beach. If you choose between big spa hotels in Ein Bookek and Ein Gedi and looking for perfect relaxation, no doubt Ein Gedi is your choice. Mountain goats from the reserve now every day come onto the hotel's territory to graze. And the botanic garden is really a miracle. The breakfasts are wonderful, but it seems that dinners now are not so impressive they used to be several years ago.

Grounds were beautiful and the room was very comfortable. This is one of the few places that has easy access to the Dead Sea. Meals were buffet style and had lots of variety...quite delicious. Great and large swimming pool. Seems a bit over priced. The buffet dinner also seemed over priced. Staff was fine but nothing to write home about and ,again, given the price.....
