Excellent location Helpful staff Clean Nice breakfast Great deal for the price
Room was very tiny. No room to hang any more than 3-4 hangers. Checked out after 1st night.
The roof garden is amazing, and the breakfast excellent
Good wifi, excellent breakfast
Noicy AC, not so tidy as could have been.
Location are ok
Breakfast are poor and no parking place was poor very bad feeling after I paid a lot of money ...I never go hotel eldan again...
We left a blazer in the hotel before we went back to the USA. They have sent it back because that "isn't the responsibility of a hotel". We would pay all expenses. I hotel is more than a place to sleep but the Eldan doesn't realize it should p[provide service.
Food was excellent for Friday night dinner and Saturday lunch. Buffet breakfast was amazing.
We knew that parking our rental car was not guaranteed in the building, (it is stated on their website) but we were lucky during our 5 day stay. There is limited parking on the street, so this was the only negative.
Location and staff. Good breakfast good wi-if. Very clean
A little pricey for incredibly small room. But location probably dictates that.
Location; Friendly, helpful staff; Clean; Decent breakfast;
Small room, small bathroom.
Very polite and helpful staff. Modest but clean accommodations, very good value and excellent location.
proximity to the old city
constant machinery/motor noise 24 hours/day - non stop. Need ear plugs to sleep -didnt have any - didnt sleep more than 5 hours over 3 days!!
Friendly staff. Excellent location. value for money
Breakfast was largely all on request and in limited quantities.
Staff was very helpful. Upscale neighborhood for reasonable price. In room, very good temperature control unit.
Would like a little fuller breakfast. Lobby could use a little sprucing up.
Nice and helpful staff. Excellent location. Decent breakfast.
Misinformed on fairly simple tourist infomation. Rooms small and simple.
Staff were very helpful, both at front desk and in dining room.Breakfast food and service were excellent. We have already recommended the hotel to others.
The situation of the hotel
We had booked a double room (it was our wedding anniversary) but for some reason (overbooking ?) we were offered 2 single rooms way apart from each other. The staff showed no regret. Furthermore the rooms were not ready befor 4 o´clock, even though ck-in according to our booking was 2 o`clock. The staff did not regret that either. On booking.com I believe this is rated as a 4-star hotel. Even on the best of days it only qualify for a 3-star hotel
Location was great. Wi-Fi very good. Breakfast was nice.
Bathrooms not thoroughly cleaned & mouldy grouting.
I loved the location. Can't get better for the money!!!
The reception was cooler than cold. The room was not clean, furniture is old, show it's age even though the hotel was renovated less than 6 months ago! No one bothers with dusting…Reading lamp is on one side, I guess the other person not expected to read. Breakfast was ok , nothing special as Israeli breakfast goes. The morning staff was very nice and responsive!
The location was fantastic. Very close to everything.
The room amenities were very limited - no shampoo or soap provided.
The location is really good, close to the Old City.
The hotel room is old and it needs a reform.
very nicely located, nice room, central location, very helpful lady at the reception for giving sightseeing tips.
location in 15 min walk from Jaffa Gate (Old City). Real hotel (with reception berakfast etc. comparing with other cheaper options near Old City without reception and with room keys in nearest Supermarket. Freandly staff. Still the best value for money in Jerusalem downtown (with crazy hotel prices). It's OK if your are planning to see Jerusalem and some places around the city and looking for only room to sleep.
Very simple service. Quite old facility.
The location was ideal - very close to Mamilla, the Old City, Ben Yehuda Street, Emek Refaim, and easy access to the buses and light rail. It was very clean, and I found the staff to be very friendly and efficient. Very good value for money . I would highly recommend it.
The rooms are basic, but have basic needs. Would have been nice to have had some spoons with the cups, and some milk sachets in the fridge to be able to use the kettle , coffee and cups provided.
