I like the location as it is near to the Old City of Jerusalem

The carpark is small and too very inconvenient getting in and out of the carpark as the entrance is always locked. The reception was not friendly.

The location was excellent. I was in walking distance to where the conference was being held as well as to the Jaffa Gate and the Old City

The staff were not very friendly. On arrival at 11.45 in the evening, I was given a room and the electricity did not work. When I questioned it, I was told that I did not know how it worked. Eventually at 00h45, I was put in another room. On arrival at breakfast on my first day I was asked for my credit card again as the guy on duty did not put it through. I handed it in and then noticed that I had been charged the incorrect tarrif that had been originally quoted to me and also for 10 days and not 9. when I questioned this I was told that the tarrif had gone up and that is what I would have to pay. Eventually, after I let off steam, they agreed to charge me the tarrif I had been quoted. This did not make for a very pleasant stay.

Rooms are comfortable but not match up with a 4 star hotel.

The fact that the electricity was turned off and on by the key card. The room was clean, and the location was excellent.

I thought the carpeting was not clean, it was stained, and even if it was vacuumed daily, it still looked dirty. Also, there wasn't enough lite in the bathroom. Also, the desk was not consistent in pricing, one quoted one price for shabbat dinner, then another wanted more. We were told that we would get a certain price for a taxi, then the driver charged more.

Great location. On-site (basement) parking was fine so long as your car is compact. The staff were very helpful.

Dining room a bit too 'budget' but the food was typically kosher (which is not a complaint).

the breakfast is fantastic, the atmosphere is warm, friendly and helpful from the doorman to the front desk.clean and attractive. It's my second time staying there and whenever i have business in jerusalem, that is my home away from home, i will always stay at the eldan.

Fantastic location, generally good quality of accommodation for the price (by Israel standards, that is), great breakfast.

No toilet brush! And one really shouldn't have to pay for internet access in this day and age...

The front desk staff were very friendly with a good knowledge of the English language. The rooms were clean and nicely made up. The location was excellent.When we requested extra pillows, they were brought immediately; in other words, very good service.

The TV was not a flat screen, the remote control didn't work and there wasn't enough of a selection of programmes to watch. There should be a kettle with coffee and tea and milk in the room. There should be a dispenser with soap lower down so that when you take a bath you don't have to stand up every time to get soap.We couldn't peel the eggs in the dining room at breakfast time and the breakfast on the Friday morning was not good(Saterday's breakfast was better).

The hotel staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was good - not elaborate but always a variety and nice fresh fruit. The rooms were neat, clean and comfortable - the shower and hot water were abundant. Great location!!

They need a better vacuum for the carpets and disinfectant for the bathrooms.

The Eldan Hotel is close to the Old City and all major car rental firms are in the same neighbourhood. The hotel has a very nice breakfast buffet and the rooms are comfortable.

Top-notch staff. Dining room people wonderful(Ahmad was very helpful with all our needs).

Too expensive for this kind of hotel. Girls at reception were not very friendly and helpful. I didn't have a safe in the room, they suggested to look better and even sent a man to look for it thinking I'm too stupid to find it myself. Of course there was no safe in my room and I had to put valuable stuff at reception. The man kept the things for one day and it was ok, but the ladies next day said they were not responsible for my things. Luckily, nothing happened. Internet is at crazy price while it is free everywhere in the world now. We had a room for 3 people, the third bed was awful and not much space left.

The hotel was most comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. The position is superb, being within a short distance of the sites holy to Jews, Christians and Moslems and which provide superb sightseeing. The breakfast was a comprehensive buffet. Excellent shopping facilities were within easy walking distance.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, speaking good English. We had a lovely room with a view of the old city. The breakfast was adequate. The hotel is very well placed for access to the old city; easy walking distance from the Jaffa gate, with lots of good restaurants nearby.

There could have been a greater choice of fruit at breakfast.
