The eyal is a new hotel in a great location. Walking distance to old city and in the center of the Ben Yehuda district. The rooms are clean but very small. Beds were comfortable, bathroom immaculate and modern design. We did not hAve a veiw from our room but the rooftop lounge was really special. Breakfast was simple but good with plenty of options. Overall we had a beautiful experience and would return in the future.
That rooms were very small.
Very central, rooms nicely decorated, good value for Jerusalem
Quite noisy in the evening due to nightclubs nearby, had trouble getting into carpark because of illegally parked cars and bikes
Location and price
Wifi too weak
Location was great, next to city center and 15 minutes walk to Old Jerusalem. Half block away from bustling streets. New hotel. Some of the staff were very nice, but still seem to need some experience. Our stay was fine, but there are other better places for the price.
No signage on the door or lobby. Looks almost like a temporary location and easy to walk by without noticing that it's a hotel. Color scheme in hall was dark - black with splashes of purple - like a nightclub. Room was sparse and minimalist and uninviting. Bathroom shower leaked all over the floor. Breakfast was cold both Saturday (Shabat) and mostly the same cold food on Sunday. Sunday they had pancakes, but they were not cooked well and were served cold. Outside at night was bustling and noisy, which I didn't mind, but some people might not like that.
Perfect hotel for the price and prime location. Breakfast was delicious too!
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, extensive and varied breakfast buffet.
Room and desk on the small side, homeless street dweller on the corner.
Very beautiful rooms, everything is new, well organized. The staff are available and serviceable. Very central location. Excellent breakfasts. Good value globally.
Having stayed in the hotel for 3 nights (and having slept late), I was twice awaken by staff, knocking strongly at 8:30 am. No available (or non existent) "do not disturb"... (the second time, I had even made and sticked a little paper on the door. useless), The people at the reception desk seem collaborate with a team of taxi drivers they know well. When I asked them to be specific for the rate from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv, they gave it to me reluctantly. Nevertheless, the driver obliged me to accept a much higher rate than the one announced, pretending at some moment that the road was "cut" ... And that he must take a longer road (totally untrue)... As I had luggage and returning to Jerusalem wasn't a good solution either, I had to accept. Very annoying and unfair.
Excellent location Good price Good brakefast
Incredible location surrounded by fun restaurants and cafés, and right next to the tram. Just a 10 minute easy walk to the old city through Yafo street. The hotel was brand new, great rooms, very clean and modern. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection.
Nothing. It was perfect. Will definitely stay again.
Good location. Near the market and the tram, but very quite. Clean, big rooms. Great staff. Great value for money !!!
Very good hotel with excellent breakfast
In the morning haven't hot water
Almost everything. Garage available but you must ask.
Great location, so close to the old city (10 min walk), friendly helpful staff, I would return there anytime.
Partying people on the street could be annoying, but I enjoyed the spirit of the quarter...
Great location by many restaurants etc. Only. 10 min walk to Old City. Room small but efficient. Great value for price and location. Staff was attentive and helpful. Breakfast was ok. This is a great hotel to stay at in Jerusslem.
Only negative was my room phone and safe did not work. I complained two times and both were never fixed.
Perfect location convenient to everything and very safe. Perfect room-- completely brand new. Amazing breakfast-- better than the Sheeaton Tel Aviv breakfast. We are used to very high end hotels and this was the perfect boutique hotel in Jerusalem.
Your listing said "Room with a balcony", but my room did not have a balcony.
New, clean, friendly service, good breakfast, parking, location, free wifi
Smoking, noisy families late at night
They had a nice clean newer room. Lobby attended 24 hour and the lobby was nice and clean. The staff were nice , knowledgeable, and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. The hotel was just like they say , it was a close to 15 minute walk to the old city , right off the light rail line, and on the edge of a good shopping area. It has a bank right around the corner for ATM access.
I know they have no control but the immediate area is a little shabby but the whole city was I think. The hotel did not have good access to a computer for internet use like some hotels have a business center but I am speaking of US hotels. They do have a tablet that you can use to get onto the internet which worked well and got me by. Really there was no real big drawback to the hotel that I saw
Facilities food and location
All was good nothing negative
The breakfast is simply perfect: israelian breakfast, fresh ingridients and the staff relly treated us with care, always trying to make us happy!! The bed is fantastic: new, comfortable and lovely pillows. Also the receptionist were very helpful and friendly. Good channels on the tv: we watched cool movies every night. The location is simply perfect: walking distance from the old city (10') and in the city center with a nice day And night life!! Close to the tram and the famous open market. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and we extended up to 5 nights!!!
Cleaning in the room especially in the bathroom.
I found it to be in a great location. They do have space for your car if you are lucky enough to get there early. I found the staff to be very nice, the breakfast was very good. The rooms are not large but comfortable enough.
I was lucky and was not facing the courtyard, my son wasnt so lucky.
Location and parking! , nice room with balcony, Wifi, friendly staff.
The chef Izrael was very friendly, he also tries very hard to accomodate the frum-mehadrin travler telling exactly which food is kosher lamehadrin (badatz)
Parking part- it's a new hotel and not everything is done yet
Location, kind & helpful staff, comfortable room.
Hotel is new & still under construction, a bit dusty. Breakfast, while generous was an extra, pricey paid option.
New hotel, New furniture and staff tried to help.
The construction are not finished yet, there are places dirty or with dusty. The rooms are very small. Breakfast is poor and beverages low quality.
