Very special authentic place in Nazareth market with very good location to explore the city. The place offer very interesting free tour every morning (our guide Linda was the best). Helpful staff and really nice breakfast
The reception very helpful, the personnel and the atmosphere
The price. Expensive for an Inn.
Charming & full character good breakfast
Cold room poor bathroom hard to locate no parking
Very nice courtyard - cool and relaxing after the heat in the streets outside. Helpful and welcoming staff. Excellent local breakfast.
If you are very tall, e.g. above 1.85 m, the beds might not be long enough for you (the very helpful staff offered us other rooms but unfortunately same rather short beds in each).
Very helpful staff Beautiful rooms Kitchen and lounge available - great to meet others
Charming building and courtyard, clean and spacious room. They did accomodate a room change request (the initial room was not accessible with our two suitcases).
The inn is not accessible via car (this is not made clear on the website); and is therefore difficult to reach if carrying suitcases due to steep steps. The inn also did not offer any help in this regard. The breakfast was very meager.
free tour of area surrounding the Inn. self contained apartment for 4 people. free tea/coffee & cake Helpfulness of the staff laundry facilities
Internet problematic. I managed fine, but people need to make sure they are fit enough to walk with luggage a fair distance from outside the old city & to be able to negotiate the steep stairs to reception.
Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful outdoor sitting areas. Accessibility to kitchen. The free tour.
Climbing the steps
Beautiful hotel--the rooms have lovely high ceilings and the courtyard is gorgeous. Friendly staff.
Room could be a little bit noisy because it was right off the courtyard.
The location was great for exploring Nazareth Old Town. Everything was within walking distance, which meant you didn't need your car if you planned on staying local. Lovely, helpful staff. Nice to have free coffee and cake in the afternoons. Nice, relaxing atmosphere within the house, having a great 'hang out' area in the courtyard.
Some noise from guests late at night as walls and doors were very thin.
Fantastic staff--the receptionist stayed late for us when we called we were arriving late. The setting--a remodeled Ottoman era mansion--is wonderful. The room was clean, airy, light and spacious. The reception area was beautiful and authentic, and the breakfast opened out onto the quiet market street--GREAT breakfast, and fresh homemade cake and coffee/tea/milk/water available all day.
The showerhead needs replacing.
The courtyard, the location and the people
The atmosphere and the fact that it was an old mansion.
The w.c. And shower cubicles in room 5 were very poorly structured and tiles on the bedroom floor were broken so that one could cut your feet on them.
The setting inside the old city lanes, the lovely yard, The kitchen facilities
The quaint architecture, ready cake, milk and fruits available
Lack of toilets, difficult to access by car
A gem of a place. Fauzu Azar deserves it's top rating.
Still feels like an original home, interesting history of the home from the owners daughter. Very relaxed and peaceful, fantastic breakfast, a great experience overall.
- Location is good - Staff are helpful and friendly
- This is basically a hostel but with 3-star hotel rates. Very expensive for what it is!
The location is perfect, in the heart of the old city and the accommodation itself surely puts you in the "pilgrim's spirit". In one word: authentic! Not to be missed the free tour starting at 9:30 from the hotel.
Hard to find if you arrive at night. Cleanliness is not among the things you would remember of this place. Room's furniture is veeeery "minimalistic" [not to say poor]. All the above however is quickly forgotten and forgiven thanks to the staff and the atmosphere of the place!
The armosphere was fantastic. We enjoyed the free tour with Linda. She was a passionate and friendly tour guide. The all day unlimited coffee, tea, cake and fruit was a delightful surprise.
Parking was very difficult, had to park far away in a lot and pay for parking, then walk quite aways with all our luggage. We understand why now because the old city the roads were wide enough for traveling camels, not cars and room for parking.
The charm of the place is breath-taking and it is very well located. Staff is very nice also. Be prepared that you can't park thr car that near though.
The history of the building, the story of the change to being a guesthouse, the free tour of Nazareth, the lovely quiet, tranquil open spaces in the guesthouses.
Immediate area seemed 'shut' and run down (pile of rubbish) - but we understood from staff that Nazareth is on the up and gradually more and more shops are opening and the rubbish (old sofas etc) did get cleared away.
The location of the accommodation. The friendly accommodating staff.Staff was always on hand to offer advice. Breakfasts was better than most of the other accommodations we stayed at. We stayed in the annex and the room was comfortable. they also offred a free tour of the old city.
Nothing in particular. Would have liked to meet the persons involved in the planning of the Jesus trail.
Friendly,helpful staff and other guests.
Slightly hard to find. Was very glad I arrived before dark. Would have been nearly impossible to find on my own after dark. No taxi access to that part of Old City Nazareth.
This must be the best budget place in Israel. they make you feel at home the minute you arrive. Excellentbreakfast, cakes en fruit everywhere. Just great!
bit difficult to park the car.
