Set in a stylish building dating back from 1923, the Eclectic ApartHotel is just off Rothschild Avenue and a 5-minute walk from the Neve Tzedek bohemian neighborhood.
Score from 196 reviews Good
Not a Hotel, but 1 floor in a lowclass old Office building. No reception, no staff, no service other then very superficial cleaning. Very poor renovation, tiny bathrooms, lots of things not functioning properly, loud mechanical noises in some rooms, loud inroom air systems. Complaints were ignored. Promised cut in rate never happened. Awful experience.
We had a very good stay. Leon is very helpful and did his best to make our stay exceptional! We stayed at room #2 which was well designed, spacious , very comfortable and quiet. The hotel is close to Rothschild Boulevard with a lot of restaurants and bars. We had our breakfast reserved at café Noir (located only few blocks from hotel), and was extraordinary. A great Value-Money deal!
Wardrobe mirror or any big mirror...
wi fi the restaurant bindella
The room was stylish and big. It was very quiet, good atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and they booked a day trip to Jerusalem for us with a direct pick up from the hotel. The hotel is situated in a very lively neighborhood therefore it was easy to find restaurants and bars. The beach, Jaffa and other parts of the city are closely situated to the hotel, which makes a perfect spot for sightseeing. We enjoyed it very much and we will come back for sure.
all was very good leon is very understanding the room is confettibel quiet & well desalinated breakfast is extraordinary in the Restoration near by
parking is to expensive (20$ p.d) & woke distant from the hotel
wifi, location , privacy
parking not at the hotel ,need to cross the street to another side,7$ for night parking so its OK
We were only there for a very short stay but it was clean, quiet.
Staff so helpfull, would definitely stay there again. :)
location and staff
sofa bed not that comfy but ok... Tel Aviv is expensive for accomodations anyway in general...
The manager Leon was very helpful and pro-active. A comfortable place and very conveniently located.
Spacey room, nice shower, good location.
The room is very noisy! The windows are not sound proofed and there is noise all night long from large fans of the near restaurant and air plains, etc. it doesn't matter if the room is nice with that much disturbance.
perfect location for visiting Tel Aviv.
Clean, location close to centre
No facilities for parking, no 24 h reception, difficult payment with credit card
Very welcoming reception - even in the wee hours of the morning by arranged taxi driver, who also facilitated our getting settled in the room. Liad, the manager, was most accommodating and flexible with our plans.
Street noise on the front street. Mostly construction noise and temporary I suspect.
We were very disappointed with our stay in hotel Montefiore 27. This is not a hotel, but just 1 floor of 7 rooms in an old residential building in south Tel Aviv. There is no parking, the rooms are very small and not so clean, and there is no reception. So, if you have a problem or something is broken, there is nobody there who will help you but only this guy, Simon, who answers "my boss is not here" for any problem you might have. We waited for 2 hours to check into the room because the air conditioner was broken. It took them 2 more hours to find us a different room while we waited outside. Another time the TV was broken and they had no technician to fix it. After checking out we asked them for an invoice for our payment and they said that "the invoicing machine is not working". This is not a hotel but rather a man renting his rooms in a building in south Tel Aviv. It should be 50 USD per night and not 213 USD as they charged us.
Value for money, location, staff, comfortable room and bad, friendly stuff.
Hotel is under recontruction, this might cause some disturbance, but only daytime.
We arrived at 16:30 and our room was not vacant! Instead, we had to wait for another 2 hours to check in. We stayed 2 nights and every morning we would wake up at 07:00 by the hammering and drilling on the ground floor. Completely unprofessional. Overall a terrible experience.
Sheets, towels, and bathroom were clean. Mattress was reasonably comfortable.
Shower leaked water through the bottom of the door. No tissues in the room. Short staff hours made late check-in and early check-out very complicated.
Just the location
-The room was still not finished from construction. No shower door, no bed light (Old fixture with no bulb or switch left in wall) -No working air conditioning. -Incredibly noisy! Babies crying throughout night from adjacent building and on going construction from 7:15 am until evening with construction debris left in the hallways. -No instructions for working tv with two tv controllers -Leaky hot water kettle with no tea or coffee Staff is available from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. If you have a problem, make sure you have a phone with an international plan. -I was moved to a room with working air conditioning and it was better equipped but even with a shower door, the water flooded across the floor. Basically, these apartments feel as if they were put together with shoddy workmanship and they are renting them out while the building is still under renovation.
Small room in a second class apartment building. There is no front desk. The person who let me in was very helpful but left at 10 PM. The shower did not drain and the floor got very wet. There are no amenities. No breakfast, lobby or any other things found in most hotels. Not good value for the money.
bathroom was bad maintained
