Our host was great, spiritual and friendly. Very nice place to talk to yourselves :)
Great place to stay out in the country. This was its major appeal. Yet still conveniently located to many sites to visit. I had some great conversations with the friendly owners. Great Breakfast
Very original place to stay. Good Israelian breakfast.
The barking dogs and the donkey of the neighbours in the night
Great host and hospitality! As it was cold, Isi invited me to Stay in the Studio even though I had booked the tent. The host is an Open-minded, interesting guy. Thank you for a memorable Stay!
We booked the tent but because it was raining and there were no other guests we got a free upgrade to the train. Owner was extremely helpful. Nice view over the mountain.
Our host Isar is a wonderful man . It is so peaceful and our host is a man with so much love in his heart. Breakfast was awesome . Enjoyed it very much.
If you want something close to what you expect from a beduin experience, there you are! Ultra friendly welcome, all you need for a cool barbecue in the shade (just don't Forget to bring your own food), goats, chicken and dogs, a cosy wagon to sleep (if that's what you choose), and all that with the necessary touch of mess (c'mon, you're both in Israël and in a Beduin style campsite!) and the lightest fares... Just fantastic for what it costs. And if you go at low season, you even may end up upgraded, and, besides, with a big smile!!!
Nothing! But just to warn you: that's a campsite, so don't expect a B&B. Oh, and make sure you Google street view before you go there as it's not easy to find. But I repeat : it's a fantastic place to stay at that price
The restored train car was one of the most unique rooms I've ever stayed in. Izzy, the host was friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast. Good value.
It was amazing and unusual expirience for us (we booked train) If you are looking for silence, nature and relax - this is right place. Room, shared bathrom are absolutely clean. You feel there like at very very good friends or family - the owners do their best for it. Ideal place for people loving camping.
A bit dirty on the streets of the village (not in camplodge) - however people who live there compensate it their smiles and greetings to every guest.
Low price Central location which helps a lot if you are planning to visit Northern Israel Rooms are clean Izzy, the owner and his wife are a great hosts and can help with nearly everything
Izzy is a lovely host! Very different sort of place. Animals, tents, a most wonderful homegrown breakfast. It's for those that want to step outside tge usual.
The place is is really something special. We enjoyed our stay in the wooden waggon very much! And even though it was mosquito season, we didn’t have any in our room, thanks to the thoughtfull care and the built in mosquito nets on all the windows. The host couple is very friendly, interesting and interested as well in your own story, all while leaving you enough privacy. They have some goats which are funny to observe too :) . The breakfast is delicious and we decided to have it outside in the most cozy place ever! It was great staying there and we would do so again :)
Very helpfull people. Relaxed, looks a bit messy at first, but very clean, especially the sanitair. Not so big. Good breakfast. If you eat all the bread, you get more the next day, till you have enough.
You need a car. We did, so no problem.
Friendly owner, very helpful with ideas for our journey to Tiberias. Good cooking facilities, unusual accommodation, quiet, good views. Very good breakfast.
Cooking facilities, whilst good, are in the main dormitory area (which is open plan) and could be a problem if people wanting to sleep whilst others want to eat and socialise. Expectations not really met of the camp itself, didn't feel like a true Bedouin experience.
We very much enjoyed our stay.the owners were excellent, very nice people.breakfast was delicious and we spent another two hours talking about anything. If one day in Israel we will come back. Thank you for pleasant stay.
A good place for those who are fed up with usual (and always overpriced) hotels and zimmers in the area. Your children probably will like the place. However, take into account that facilities are realy basic. Also, try to arrive not so late because it is not so easy to find the place (or contact the owner so that he could meet you).
The place is amazing! The Camplodge is situated beautifully among hills and fields on the edge of a Bedouin village. Best time to go there is definitely spring, when the Lower Galilee is all green and blossoming. The Israel National Trail (Shvil Israel) is only about 3 km away, so it's a perfect place to stay for hikers - especially if they're looking for a decent hot shower... Never before slept in an old train car only to wake up in the morning to a choir of goat, donkey and rooster. Great breakfast and overall hospitality. We'll definitely come back!
Beautiful nature Great wagon to sleep in Delicious breakfast sympathic hosts
we had a very great time at Galilee Bedouin Campldoge: its location and the unique accomodation facilities offer something special that you do not get if you stay in a city hotel. You can either stay in a big tent (with heating), in a nicely renovated railway carriage or in a modern jurta (the latter is to be finished soon). The owner was very friendly and helpful. A quiet place, with very nice views and some domestic animals. The breakfast was also very nice. If you are looking for a unique accomodation for a reasonable price, this is the right choice, I highly recommend it!
It's the ideal place to be for people who don't want to stay in a standard touristic hotel. There is nice countryside and many animals around. The owner is very friendly and even showed us two of his goats who were born just a few days ago. The whole place has a nice and special atmosphere. When we arrived, there was already light burning and a heater running in our tent so it was cosy and warm inside (February!). During our stay, a band was rehearsing and so we could enjoy some nice music. We liked the breakfast with many fresh vegetables and fresh bread.
We agree that it is hard to find if you don't know where to go. We had our smartphone guiding us (google maps knows where to go). We'd recommend others to just ask for directions or being picked up in case of need. Be aware that in the countryside/village surrounding there are of course animal sounds at night (donkey, dogs).
