- the hotel is available 24/24 (check-in possible in the night too) - Wi-Fi works nice and free - nice breakfast included near by in a nice coffee/bar - staff at the reception helpful - central and our room quiet no street noise - clean - looks like nice roof area, but no time to check it out - it's a bit old and very simple and easy for that, price a bit too much I think

The jacuzzi bathtub and small porch were key for me - perfect for some low-budget relaxation in the middle of the bustling city. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was loud at night, but that was part of the appeal to me, and the noise trailed off around 1 in time for me to go to sleep. The room and the hotel itself are very small. For one person, for a few days, it was fine. But not sure I'd want to stay there for a week or more. Also, the jacuzzi should come with instructions - it took me a while to figure out how to use it without flooding the bathroom. (The answer - you have to monitor the drainage so the water doesn't come up through the drain in the floor. But Israeli drainage is sometimes like this, so it was forgivable, but still should have come with some "orientation" or instruction from the staff.) My mini-fridge didn't seem to work, but I didn't need it.

Location near the beach and market. For the prices in Israel, the room was ok. Dirty street. Breakfast at another place.

Good location, safe place, quite close to number of night bars (if needed), friendly staff the breakfast arranged at nearby bar was quite light (weak) the next door parking fee ( for those who drive a car) gets quite expensive in relation to cost of accommodation itself

This small hotel is close to the beach and shops many things to do, the staff was very helpful arranged tours for me and kept my bags safe until I returned even though I had checked out. Recommend it, not fancy but met my needs.

Helpful and nice front desk; neat old-ish furniture, access to veranda on the roof, location near but not too near a fair and in easy reach of everything we wanted to see; breakfast a at nice little cafe nearby; value for money. Noise. The are two bars downstairs, and one is atrociously noisy up until 11 p.m. 'curfew' (midnight on Saturday) and even after that the sub woofer system can still be felt well into the night, every night. I liked the place, but this is a crucial point for me, so I will not be staying there a second time.

We liked the location; relatively low cost; permanent availability of the staff, and breakfast vouchers which allowed us to have free small meals any time of the day. Noteworthy is that the bed linen and towels were changed every day! A too small room and an old bathroom and lavatory equipment.

Good location, friendly staff and breakfast provided at a café close by. The windows were poorly built and the cold air was blowing right into the bed, the doors and walls are so thin that you can almost hear everything from other rooms, the towels are a bit over-used, no hair dryer in the rooms. Price of the hotel can only be justified with its location.

Location. Since our flight took all night, we decided to sleep a bit in the afternoon, but a band was practicing in the basement... The bar next door is very noise. Room was too small.

Nice boutique hotel in a great central location. Interesting, somewhat sketchy area of the city, but one which is being slowly upgraded with new shops etc. I would highly recommend this hotel for people who aren't looking for your typical North American chain hotel and want a place that is well located to the beach, the city and the main market at an affordable price. Breakfast was included at a wonderful pastry shop just around the corner. The Galileo has its own special charm - like an comfortable home, rather than a hotel. sketchy-looking local neighborhood, but once you got your head around that - nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. No elevator, but staff will assist in carry bags. This is a small boutique hotel - 11 rooms and has a cosy feel about it. If you are looking for Ramada quality and finishes - don't stay here.
