Score from 269 reviews Very good
the staff is very kind and the place is clean and near to the beach and lot of good food around
you can hear the noise from other rooms, the bed is not big enough for a couple
Comfortable room, nice furniture, good location, friendly people.
Big noise out of the street, we can't sleep at the night.
Place of this hotel is wonderful, near to beach and bars
The location is near the beach, the Carmel market and not too far to the Dizengoff area. The staff were helpful and the rooftop lounge area was wonderful.
The room was small, almost claustrophobic small, with nowhere to lay out much of anything. Also it was noisy, overlooking a bar area.
Location is perfect. 7 min walk to the beach, 3 min walk to the Carmel market, around 10 min to Neve Tzedek. Lots of inexpensive cafes nearby
Rooms are small and shabby. Walls are not sound proof- you can hear everything happenning in another room or outside in the streets. No breakfast - just some coffee and muffins from the supermarket. Hotel staff are not particularly friendly although this is a common feature of the whole hospitality industry in Israel. Rooftop terrace is overrated, there is nothing to do there (no tea/coffee making facilities or bar). Overall, a good budget option in TA but don't expect anything special from this place
The location and friendly staff, could not asked for a better place for a first time to Tel aviv. Donna, mississippi
all was good - close to the main street, a lot of cafes, 10 min walk from the beach, room was clean and nice. In the room there are kettle and fridge
no breakfast very small window
the location is nice when staying short. lots of nice bars and places to eat, as well as the beautiful market around the corner.
my room was small, but I knew that up front. i do feel it should be less expensive for a room of 8 m2.
everything is good - location not far from sea and downtown, friendly and helpful stuff, clean room and bathroom, clean up every day.
althought there are a lot of bars and cafes around, i would like to have a little breakfast in hotel
the roof top, the balcony and the bed- we stayed in two different rooms, one with only a shower and bath which was great, free coffee, buns in morning
one with a Jacuzzi which was a supiero room ....actually the standard room was better the Jacuzzi was old and had en ground dirt in it and did not work so well take the standard room.
Allenby street is very close. Market few corners away. Lot of pubs and street food places close. Shopping street close. Perfect location to get around. Value for money.
Staff is a bit uppish.
Great location and clean and comfortable room
Good location (Shops, restaurants, parking lots nearby), charming roof terrace, towels changed every day.
The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbor's conversation, but we were tired enought to sleep well :-)
Central location 24 hour reception Helpful staff Powerful shower
No breakfast but there are some decent cafes nearby for that.
I liked the friendliness of the staff, very helpful inanswering all my questions and concerns
cannot really say I disliked anything in particular. Perhaps at times it was a bit noisy, but overall good place to stay for a couple of nights
Everything was perfect!
Maybe not ideal if you need to get to the central bus or train station walking but that is a very minor complaint compared to what the hotel has to offer.
Best location, less than 10 min on foot to the beach, next to Carmel Market, shops and buses to all other parts of Tel Aviv. The room was very comfortable and relatively quiet so could sleep with open window. Some people in the reception were better than others but in the end I always got all (and more) information that I asked for. Next time I travel to Tel Aviv I'll book Galileo.
Having to drag my luggage up the stairs.
Staff is friendly and nice, have open attitude. Rooms are nice there is free tea or coffee;
Not necessarily bad, but location in lively part of the town and I'm quiet person who just does not dig night life.
Free wi fi worked well. Sunny rooftop to relax. I got a twin room at slightly more than the cost of a single and it was definitely worth it for the extra space.
This hotel is not actually at 56 Allenby Street as listed on Booking.com but in the small street behind. Their actual address is Hilel Hazaken 8. It was very confusing to arrive in the dark & be looking for this property. Luckily someone had an ipad & we found it on Google maps. Also, be warned, the hotel has no elevator so you will have to carry your luggage to the first floor where all the rooms are located.
roof top garden. clean rooms. design. qwiet place near noisy centre.
Ten minutes walking to the beach!
For the price we paid, it should have been nicer. A private room in a hostel is just as nice and much cheaper.
Located near the Carmel Market, not far from the beach and trendy restaurants and bars, the Galileo is a gem with renovated rooms, comfy beds, good air conditioning and great staff. Its not the Ritz but the cost is very reasonable for expensive Tel Aviv.
Clean bath room
Room 111 is like a prison cell I don't think it's suitable for hotel room. And the price is just too high for this ... WI-FI suddenly stop Lady in the reception needs service workshop....
you can walk anywhere a tourist would want to go in tel aviv from here
Beautifull lokal people, they are wery freindly and relaxed, and interested to have a conversaiton with tourist.
We did not like all the bicykles on the walkingstreets, you could not hear them, and they drove very fast.
