Great location and clean and comfortable room
Good location (Shops, restaurants, parking lots nearby), charming roof terrace, towels changed every day.
The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbor's conversation, but we were tired enought to sleep well :-)
Central location 24 hour reception Helpful staff Powerful shower
No breakfast but there are some decent cafes nearby for that.
I liked the friendliness of the staff, very helpful inanswering all my questions and concerns
cannot really say I disliked anything in particular. Perhaps at times it was a bit noisy, but overall good place to stay for a couple of nights
Everything was perfect!
Maybe not ideal if you need to get to the central bus or train station walking but that is a very minor complaint compared to what the hotel has to offer.
Best location, less than 10 min on foot to the beach, next to Carmel Market, shops and buses to all other parts of Tel Aviv. The room was very comfortable and relatively quiet so could sleep with open window. Some people in the reception were better than others but in the end I always got all (and more) information that I asked for. Next time I travel to Tel Aviv I'll book Galileo.
Having to drag my luggage up the stairs.
Staff is friendly and nice, have open attitude. Rooms are nice there is free tea or coffee;
Not necessarily bad, but location in lively part of the town and I'm quiet person who just does not dig night life.
Free wi fi worked well. Sunny rooftop to relax. I got a twin room at slightly more than the cost of a single and it was definitely worth it for the extra space.
This hotel is not actually at 56 Allenby Street as listed on Booking.com but in the small street behind. Their actual address is Hilel Hazaken 8. It was very confusing to arrive in the dark & be looking for this property. Luckily someone had an ipad & we found it on Google maps. Also, be warned, the hotel has no elevator so you will have to carry your luggage to the first floor where all the rooms are located.
roof top garden. clean rooms. design. qwiet place near noisy centre.
Ten minutes walking to the beach!
For the price we paid, it should have been nicer. A private room in a hostel is just as nice and much cheaper.
Located near the Carmel Market, not far from the beach and trendy restaurants and bars, the Galileo is a gem with renovated rooms, comfy beds, good air conditioning and great staff. Its not the Ritz but the cost is very reasonable for expensive Tel Aviv.
Clean bath room
Room 111 is like a prison cell I don't think it's suitable for hotel room. And the price is just too high for this ... WI-FI suddenly stop Lady in the reception needs service workshop....
you can walk anywhere a tourist would want to go in tel aviv from here
Beautifull lokal people, they are wery freindly and relaxed, and interested to have a conversaiton with tourist.
We did not like all the bicykles on the walkingstreets, you could not hear them, and they drove very fast.
perfect location, friendly people
Comfortable Bed, Central Location, Inexpensive Parking Nearby
It was very near a restaurant we needed to visit, and only ten minutes walk to the sea.
Noisy at night.
Great location Staff is very nice room is clean and tidy Love the balcony
I had a claustrophobic feeling. Room, furniture and carpet are dark, and the only window out the door to the balcony, which was not enough.
It's like 20 min walking to the beach maybe more.
It's dirty and looks horrible, staff was rude to me
-location -tidiness -Jacuzzi
-noise from the street -weak lights in the room
EVEN though we arrived before 2, i arrived at the hotel very sick and they booked me in at the13h15 which i was so grateful for. Thanks anett
Beautiful terrace on the roof. Calm and convenient place. Beach is not so far. The reception officers are very kind and supportive. Recomмend
Everything was excelent, the staff and the room. It was close to the beach, to The Carmel Market and schoping area.
Relatively close to beach, close to cafe's and market. Great service from receptionist. No balcony, but a very nice big roof terrace.
Great location, close to all the important things ( shuk haCarmel,Machane Ben Yamin, the beach, Dizengof, etc,). Beautiful rooftop to sit at night.
Had to turn my key in every time I left the hotel. Also, tv didn't work (not that I really needed it).
