Golan Hotel is located in the historic centre of Tiberias. It offers beautiful views over the lake and Mount Hermon, and an outdoor pool. Use of the hot tub is free. At Hotel Golan you will have a wellness centre with gym and sauna. You can book massages and other treatments. Refurbished in 2011, the swimming pool features a special children's pool. The restaurant serves a full Israeli breakfast and international kosher dishes. Rooms here have air conditioned and cable TV and have great views. The Sea of Galilee is just 1.5 km away. Nothing really. The staff were very unfriendly and we did not get the hotel rooms that we booked. And when we tried to tell the reception they were very rude. I will not recomend this hotel to anyone and neither will I go there again

Far away from the beach. Far away from the crowd very isolated small rooms rude receptionist lousy breakfast WOULD NOT RECOMEND ANYONE TO STAY AT GOLAN HOTEL.

The breathtaking view over Kinneret is magic, especially from the dining room. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. The rooms are comfortable, but the bathrooms could do with an update / refurb. I would certainly choose Golan Hotel again when staying in the Tiberius region.

It's very easy to get to from the port area, there are little shops and restaurants within walking distance. The view is great, and the hotel is in good shape, very clean! The staff is friendly and helpful, and everyone speaks good English. It has a nice gym, and the pool looked new, though I didn't get a chance to use it. They charge you for wifi, $16 for 24 hours, while most other places it is free, but at least it was a strong connection. The pool and hot tub open late 10am, after most people head out, and close early 8pm before most people head back to the hotel.

Golan Hotel is a nice and descent hotel. Its clean with a great view over the Sea of Galelie. Value for the money you have to spent to stay there. I don't know why the outdoor pool although it was clean & seemed to be operational they didn't allow you to go. Also, I found the breakfast poor.

Nice view, good breakfasr, very good piano player on Saturday evening. Even though free wiFi was advertise, it was offered at cost, and then it did not work at all. Poll anf jacizzi were still under construction, as were some other parts of the hotel.

We found the staff to be very accomodating and helpful when planning days out. Whenever we had a query or issue they always did their best to aid us. Very impressed with customer service at this hotel. We were disappointed with the lack of swimming pool, as we were given the impression when booking that there would be one available to all guests. We also thought that it would be a very short distance to the Galilee shores due to the location on the map and the descrIpton given on the website. However in fact one needed to walk to the bus stop, take a bus and then walk to the shoreline.

The Golan Hotel is excellent. I spent there a weekend with my wife and had a great time. The hotel has good infrastructure, it's a new building with new forniture and equipments. The room was very confortable with an amazing view of the lake Kineret (Sea of Galilee). The hotel has a huge salon with a bar and the service is great. Besides that they have a nice jacuzzi and sauna. The only thing the hotel needs to improve in my opinion is the breakfast. I was expecting more... But the food is ok, israeli style breakfast.

Wij hadden een deluxe kamer met uitzicht op het zwembad. Kamer is ruim, maar meubilair is erg gedateerd. Niet vies, maar wel dringend aan vervanging toe. Lobby is groot en gezellig om te zitten en koffie te drinken. Personeel is onverschillig, op het onvriendelijke af. Behalve Sara Anton. Je wordt bekeken of je een vijand bent ipv een klant. De eetzaal lijkt op een vreetzaal, zeker als die is volgepakt met oudere Nederlandse betweters. Wifi wordt beloofd maar werkt voor geen meter. Zwembad gaat zogenaamd om 9.00 uur open, maar dan is er geen lifeguard. Erg slecht. Zwembad is wel schoon, maar sluit al om 19.00 uur. Abnormaal vroeg dus! Ontbijt is ronduit vies, alleen maar Joodse gerechten en oud brood, vieze joghurt en bruin water dat voor koffie moet doorgaan. Wij zullen heir nooit meer logeren.

Uitermate vriendelijke mensen die bijzonder hulpvaardig bleken te zijn. We waren daar met een 81-jarige invalide man in een rolstoel. Het personeel heeft alles gedaan wat mogelijk was om zijn/ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. We kregen zelfs een vaste (beste) plaats in de eetzaal die werd bewaakt door het personeel. De kamers waren uitstekend, schitterend zwembad en een mooie omgeving.

Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter einschließlich des Hotel Managements. Habe mich gefühlt wie zuhause. Ich reise mit dem Motorrad, nach Ankunft wurde mir sofort angeboten mein Motorrad auf der Hotelterrasse zu parken damit mein Motorrad sicher vor Diebstahl ist. die ersten Tage gab es kein richtiges Brot zum Frühstück, was aber nicht am Hotel lag sondern an den Israelischen Feiertagen an denen auf bestimmte Sachen verzichtet werden muss wie eben Brot, Bier usw.

שרות טוב ואדיב. לא אהבתי שהמחירים מצויינים ללא מע"מ מבלי ליידע, וכשמגיעים למלון צריכים להוסיף את המע"מ למחיר באופן מפתיע... כשאין ממש ברירה.

היה מעולה. המלון קרוב להכל. הצוות מקסים, קיבלנו את החדר בזמן, חדר בקומה הראשונה צמוד לבריכה, שקט, שלווה, ממש כמו להיות בקיבוץ. המלון שקט, נוף מהמם, החדרים מרווחים, מרפסת גדולה. נהנינו מאוד. לקח זמן למים החמים להגיע במקלחת וגם שהם הגיעו הם לא היו חמים כמצופה מבית מלון, הזרם במים החמים לא חזק כמו בקרים. אין הרבה חניה באיזור המלון.
