Emily's Hotel is a design property offering air-conditioned rooms with balcony and free Wi-Fi, and an outdoor swimming pool. In the center of Tiberias, it is only 55 yards from the Kinneret Lake...
Score from 260 reviews Very good
The hotel is located in the center of the city. The promenade, restaurants, cafes and shops are all few steps from the hotel. The beach and the Sea of Galilee are 10 minutes away.

1) Location 2) the bed was a true queen, and not two beds pushed together. 3) good parking
1) Wi-Fi did not work at all in room #11 (on the bottom floor). I was told by others on the floor that their wifi did not work either. Had to use the lobby if I wanted to email and/or text.
Stayed at this hotel for a night only. Having a car was very good to go to the city and to find a nice spot for swimming at the lake. Rooms are good without being outstanding, internet only of moderate quality. Lots of cheese for breakfast, but not many choices for vegans or lactose intolerant people. Dinner in the hotel restaurant is overpriced. We found an alternative in the city, but we didn't have much choice since we stayed there on a Friday night and Tiberius was pretty well closed down. The view of the sea of Galilee is very nice, but the city itself is nothing special.
Everything was good facilities, cleanliness. Excellent pool and very quiet. We would definitely recommend the rooms with balconies as they had the most amazing view of the Kinneret.
Wifi didn't work. We received a code but as soon as it connected it disconnected. We gave up in the end.
Good facilities, clean and friendly service. Great pool and much better view of the lake than other hotels closer-in to town.
Inability to get snacks, light meals in the evening. Only option in the evening was the full blown buffet, which was expensive and far too much. Eventually ended up having humus and bread. One evening the kitchen was closed due to lack of guests, but we managed to get an omelette!!
No customer service in little things that count.
The view and location is excellent
Breakfast is a bit confusing , but ok, so no real issue
Receptionist did a great job. Very friendly and helpful.
Although our room was renovated there still seemed to be problems with bathroom leakage as the outside wall had bubbled from water damage. The pool guy was rude and told us we couldn't even sit on the deck chairs.
Great view from Lake Kineret, excelent room, large, clean, confortable. Nice staff.
I had to pay in advance. No problem on that. But I paid in cash and they wanted to give me the change on the check-out. After I complained, they agreed to give the change at the moment of the payment. The internet in the room was not good. For this reason, they did not charge us for the internet service.
Delicious breakfast, very friendly staff, easy to find
rooms small, picture online made it look like there was access to the Sea of Galilee from the hotel
The staff went out of the way to make our stay welcoming and enjoyable, looks like they are a good working team. The food was very good, and pool and sauna and hotel in general very clean! Recommended
There were no tea making facilities in the bedroom. There was a large, nasty green stain on the ceiling above my bed :(
view from a balcony room was excellent and was worth the extra, cost swimming pool and spa was welcome too, breakfast was very good especially the fruit and fish the staff allowed us to choose between three rooms.
it's the worse hotel where I have ever been. Expensive, dirty, personal not friendly, I'm not recommend it.
Clean nice pool, food ok
I required a doctor and they tended to my need efficiently; my only regret is that they forgot my Chopat Cholim is Macabbe and sent some one from Clalit. But he was a very good doctor.
the lack of better bus transportation which is not a reflection on the Hotel
The rooms are smelly when we entered. And I would suggest the hotel to provide free wifi access in all area instead of the lobby only.
אחלה מלון! מומלץ בחום
The room was clean, the staff were courteous, and the view lived up to the photos. We had a rental car, and this hotel was a great base to travel from for the few days we stayed.
It was the only place that we stayed at (mostly 4 star similar to this hotel) in our 3 weeks in Israel that wanted to charge for wifi internet. Free wifi + smart phone = easy communication to family back home, and it was a bit frustrating to have to go to a cafe in Tiberias to use their internet without extra fees. Given this was the most expensive of the hotels during our stay, it was quite disappointing and inconvenient.
View of the Sea of Galilee. The hotel building is well designed and our room was ample and had a good balcony. Parking space at the front and easy access. In the evenings in the lounge there was a good pianist.
The hotel is too far from the Sea of Galilee waterfront to walk there. Some members of staff were not friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping was disappointing: our room was supplied with one single quilt (for a double bed!) and it took more than one phone call to the desk and a two-hour wait to get anything done about it; on one occasion, the floor at the bottom of the stairs was left wet, I slipped, but when I told the receptionist there was just no reaction of concern at all. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Internet is not free. Pool is open only seasonally. Price was a bit on the high side by European standards.
Food service was superb. Room was spacious.
Stairway transit between floors was made difficult due to protrusions between levels. Difficult to maneuver for older person. Some staff members were curt.
The positiv approach the staff showed. Excellent staff at the front desk when we arrieved. very informative reception and we were infomed about the city, the hotel and the surroundings. The impression of a profesional and smiling staff, including the cleaners and the waiters continued until the check out.
The front desk staff member that took care of the check out did not have the same positive approach as the rest of the staff we met.
