It was a comfortable room in a good location.
The day staff was rude. You share a balcony with other rooms. The air conditioner wasn't working well. The jucuzzi wasn't working, you couldn't even take a regular bath in it let alone turn on the jets.
Fine breakfast, perfect location, friendly reception! Very nice view from the balcony, and the vintage elevator is really cool.
It might take time to fix issues with the implements in the room. I've also witnessed a staff member arguing badly with a guest, though I don't know the reason.
Great location closed to The beach
Unfriendly staff. We also had to pay three different times because they didn't know how much to change...
The staff were very helpfujl. The location is great - right across the street from the beach and next door to restaurants.
The hotel needs updating badly. The room was quite small.
Great view and location
Closeness to centre
More attention from staff, more information re payment options
location, breakfast, ocean view
very old furniture
The place smelt like a filthy toilet in the entrance way And was dirty. We booked on booking .com at 12:30 am as we arrived in Israel at this time and needed a place to stay. When we arrived the guy at the front desk said that it was for the next night and that no rooms were available and this was by than 2am. He said he would credit the room and cancel it. We had to go out on the street and luckly we had a guy who helped us find a hotel but it was double the price. Booking .com and this hotel charged us and we tried to explain to hotel next night and they wouldn't refund the charge. As we didn't want to stay at this hotel conditions very poor filthy and pornographic biz cards scattered over front entrance was a sure sign it was bad place. Management was rude as well didn't want to do anything. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The second night we stayed at a beautiful hotel half blk with nicest people, very helpful a good breakfast included and it was a suite for same price as the golden hotel. It also had a beautiful view:) wifi included! Mercure hotel we recommend and be careful booking on booking.com they are never on your side and clearly they don't investigate the hotels they provide as choices! Good luck!
location was really good

Hotel location is great. Close to the beach. It located between Old Yaffo and Tel-Aviv Marina. You can get by foot to main streets and Carmel Market. Reception is Russian and English speaking. Free Wi-Fi everywhere at the hotel. Nice and tasty breakfasts (by the way from 06-30 till 10-00), so you have enough time before departure to Israel tours for example.Sea view balcony.
Old room equipment. No bath-cabin, just bath curtain with shower tray. You can not take a shower without slippers. Dirty balcony (but with sea nice view) with old sunbeds.Too noise during the night. We have experience with bus, which stay on road under balcony at 02-30 local after midnight, put out loudspeakers and have a nice party with music and song singing approx. tfor 1 hour. By the way, at hotel confirmation from booking.com you have check-out time at 12:00 local, but there is announcement at the reception that check-out at 11:00 local.
Location is brilliant Hotel is not noisy WiFi is very good View of beach brilliant Good breakfast Nice cleaners
Room needs redecorating Towels are very small Fridge was super cold and my bottle of beer exploded Bathroom could be cleaner and some maintenance needs doing
Very good location: directly on the beach shore. Despite very shabby rooms, staff is capable to keep the room and bathroom clean.
Very shabby rooms: renovation needed ASAP. Lamp-shade with the hole, the bed's head patchy, plastic table and chair in the balcony broken.. and many more..
Location close to the beach
Great location, right on the beach and in the middle of everything.
The staff were not helpful at all. We seemed to be a nuisance to them whenever we needed something or had a question. The room seemed to be falling apart around us. The breakfast was not good, but that could be because it was during Passover.
Location very good and nice.
Old furniture, broken doors , not very clean.
Location was within walking distance to Carmel market, the beach and Neve Tzedek area of Tel Aviv. Train from airport to main train station 16 shekel, taxi to hotel 50 shekel. Free wifi a huge plus Breakfast varied and enjoyable Staff helpful and friendly Top floor rooms have kitchenette and balcony overlooking the sea, a huge positive with the local market being so very close
Hotel could do with a total refit to bring it up to date but it's clean and comfortable and a more budget price than larger hotels in same area I would definitely return
The location is hard to beat We received a complimentary upgrade to the sea view room on the top floor, with the huge terrace ("the best room we have"). The view was breath-taking! Management and reception staff was helpful when asked.
The general state of the hotel is quite poor. There has been very little done to keep the hotel kept up and maintain the ambiance as on pictures. Think of torn curtains, doors not fitting frames, rusty metallic elements, peeling plaster and that type of things. bathroom smelled funny (some sewer smells); when the window was open, one could see the rubbish-cluttered patio (incl condoms) heating did not work properly and one had to wait for some time under shower for hot water. the breakfast room is spacious, but the area with the breakfast bar is actually very small, thus leading to overcrowding (waiting time for coffee was about 15 minutes) Toiletries are provided only in bulk dispensers - something associated with much cheaper venues.
Good value for the money paid
Just the location
The wifi has never worked and in the reception there was always smell of onion!!!!
Close to the beach
has seen its best days
Good breakfast Very close to the see
very helpful receptionists, close to Beach+City, close to Carmel Market, close to Old Yafo, Excellent Balcony+seaview, rich breakfast, Computer use,
Excellent location near the beach - good room overlooking the beach.
Limited choice breakfast - poor carparking facilities.
location was perfect
noisy and very bad bathroom facilities. No water pressure.
Tel Aviv is expensive. This was by far the best deal (per location) we could find. Right next to the beach, right in the middle of everything. We had a beach view with patio. The patio was huge and the view was excellent.
Dingy, old interior with very slow WiFi. For the price and for the location...it's really not that bad. Think hostel-ish facilities with a decent mattress and fantastic view.
