I had volunteered for one month in Israel and needed to relax before our next volunteer – work. We wanted stay at Leonardo because of the outdoor place to sit in the sun. At once I told the manager our situation, he gave us permission sitting outside and we could also use all the facilities for the spa area for free. When we did not get back in the evening because we got wrong time-table from the reception and than we got 40% paid back, a good deal!! The breakfast was delicious, the beds and the room as well!! It was quiet and close to the bus- and railway- station. We will recommend the hotel!!
The pool and the place around were closed. It was very good weather, but we had to speak with the manager to sit outside in the sun. We asked for help finding time-table for a train, but got wrong time and because of that we did not come back to the hotel to sleep there the last night.
The breakfast was amazing great selections.
The beds kept separating throughout the night and I could hear everyone's conversation from other rooms.
Very good breakfast.
Old equipment and furniture, refurbishing is necessary. parking is too small for such big hotel.
Warm staff, excellent location, nice room and great breakfast.
Food Service Bar Wifi Clean Restaurant
Excellent service from the staff.
The pool chaise lounges were mostly broken. Facilities seemed worn.
המחיר גבוה ביחס לערים אחרות
The staff was wonderful. They literally treat you like royalty. The hotel prepares a wonderful breakfast.
The facility is undergoing renovation so you will see that the rooms are not all in good shape (paint chipping and stains all around the room). While we were there we had trouble with the water - shower ran extremely hot and shut off completely while one of us was showering. The elevators kept breaking down. The pool had construction around it. If it wasn't for the staff who got immediately on anything that was wrong - we would have been really annoyed.
Free access to business lounge Nice and large rooms Staff was good fun and tried to make up for the shortcomings of the place
Pool was closed, middle of the desert, end of April, 35° outside. Noisy renovation works. Telephone in room was dead and not repaired within my 5 days. Only pay-Wifi in the rooms. Way too costly for that, even in Israel
This hotel always falls a little short, but it is the only decent hotel in town. Rooms are okay but not great.they were clean. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection of foods. I did not like the birds or the flies who occupy the restaurant. Staff were friendly and spoke English well. There are remodeled rooms in the hotel and I would ask for one of them as the standard, rooms are tired.
Birds and flies in the restaurant.fact that safe, did not work right in the room. Air conditioning in room Required maintenance but was fixed.
Flies all over the buffet Paying for internet (and on each device) Poor air circulation Only hotel in Beersheva, but certainly not worth $180 per night!
Paid internet in Rooms or free only in the hall. Everything old and unclean.
The staff wasn't nice. I had a twin although I asked for a double. I was expecting much more comfort in the room for the price I paid... This hotel allows himself to have high prices because there are not a lot hotels in Beer Sheva. Don't expect a good quality there...
Staff were friendly
No bar or Restaurant due to holiday. Hotel was rather large and stale
great room good breakfast
I reached at early hour around 6.00 AM. The check in time is 3.00 PM. The staff was very courteous. As I arrived early and room was not ready they accommodated me temporarily in another room and did not charge.
Very dirty, loud air condition, very old installations and very expensive, no water in room, old towels. They charge everything extra even the gym. Any hotel in tel aviv is much better!
cleanliness maintenance food services
Breakfast in an Israeli hotel is always a joy, but this buffet was exceptional. Not only did we have the tastiest cup of cappuchino we'd had in some time, there were so many healthy options. Of course there were sweets and other 'want to haves' but to be able to opt for healthy treats like sunflower seeds and other munchies was very impressive! We were also given access to the business lounge where there was free WI-FI and comfortable accomodations. Furniture in the room was also comfortable and we had our choice of feather or non-feathered pillows. But the greatest thing about this hotel was the staff, we were treated with nothing but kindness and great service from the reception through the bellman. If we have business again in Be'erSheva, this will be our hotel.
Although the hotel is not brand-spanking-new it has a certain elegance. There are a few needed repairs in the room we occupied. There are loose tiles in the bathroom floor that should be addressed.
Friendly staff who directed me to decent place to eat.
A characterless expensive bed factory. "Restaurant" was more like a works canteen. But hey, when you are the only game in town, who needs to bother.
The staff went overboard with its helping us and its friendlyness.
friendly welcome spacious, clean rooms inviting view
*poor internet connection *no access to food in the hotel or within walking distance
The condition of this hotel is an embarrassment. Internet in public areas does not function. The pool is not open - either they "couldn't get a lifeguard" or "didn't have insurance" according to staff. Either way, for a fully filled pool in a hotel in the desert its a disgrace. The furniture and rooms are badly faded, worn out, desperately needing updating - carpets and walls will never look clean. The bedsheets don't fit the bed. And can you believe there were blood stains on the pillow cover. Front desk staff are very nice and apologetic for all the shortcomings - even trying to laugh about it. Breakfast room staff are indifferent to customers, standing idly around when customers come in and only offering assistance when asked - and we always came late when the dining room was not busy. They don't come to tables offering drinks and not once came to collect used plates. We merely shifted them to vacant tables ourselves to make room. The tables and chairs are also badly worn. The place mats are stained. Used cups remain on tables set for new customers. Discarded food is left unswept under table legs. I've rarely been so disappointed by a hotel. The value is terrible for the price. I was planning on staying at another of the hotels in this chain while I was travelling in Israel but cancelled that after this experience.
the pool was closed , no info about the pool being closed as we booked. executive floor not worthwhile extra charge for no return. would not stay again.
Charming city in the Negev desert. Wonderful breakfasts (take pictures), friendly, helpful staff and lovely public areas.
