The hotel is definitely not 4 stars. It's quite old, not very clean, and not very well cleaned in the rooms. Breakfast is ok, but we had a doubt about its freshness (just an impression). The location is good only for visiting, but not for leaving: its an Arabic part if the city, extremely noisy, dirty, and dangerous. Parking of the hotel is horrible, it's not a parking at all, but a "corner" in a narrow inside yard with plenty of other cars, very uncomfortable, and sometimes hard to get in or out. Just in case: the entrance is hard to find: it's a small passage just before the lights near the hotel. Also notice, that the hotel is a pilgrim place, so there are mostly different religious groups: that doesn't bother, but in case you don't like, you should know.
Nothing special. Stuff is quite friendly. Very close to the gates of the old city - one minute from the Damaskus gate and the same from herod's gate. The street is very noisy, but rooms have a very good isolation. The hotel is a good place for pilgrims: simple and close to the relics.
