This wonderful hotel is in the perfect location to visit the Old City of Jerusalem. It is spotless, quiet, very charming and the breakfast is the best I have ever seen in a hotel anywhere. The staff were great, and I would highly recommend it.
The view, the bed ad the breakfast
very old school
un bon rapport qualité prix
staff are amazing: friendly, extremely helpful and always smiling and obliging! location is 10STARS! hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable I will definitely stay here again
location, wifi and breakfast & free parking
parking was okay but difficult to park, no tea and coffee in room and the area around the hotel was dirty
Access from the street is up 3 flights of steps with heavy luggage after a hot and tiring day.
location, staff, brakfast,valumoney
beeing poor health, lift problem from ground floor,4 star, no fridge availble
breakfast very poor, no bufet available due to us being only people staying at the hotel.
good staff, perfect location, nice hotej.
Nothing special. Stuff is quite friendly. Very close to the gates of the old city - one minute from the Damaskus gate and the same from herod's gate. The street is very noisy, but rooms have a very good isolation. The hotel is a good place for pilgrims: simple and close to the relics.
The hotel is definitely not 4 stars. It's quite old, not very clean, and not very well cleaned in the rooms. Breakfast is ok, but we had a doubt about its freshness (just an impression). The location is good only for visiting, but not for leaving: its an Arabic part if the city, extremely noisy, dirty, and dangerous. Parking of the hotel is horrible, it's not a parking at all, but a "corner" in a narrow inside yard with plenty of other cars, very uncomfortable, and sometimes hard to get in or out. Just in case: the entrance is hard to find: it's a small passage just before the lights near the hotel. Also notice, that the hotel is a pilgrim place, so there are mostly different religious groups: that doesn't bother, but in case you don't like, you should know.
Great location only a couple of minutes walk from Damascus Gate and close to the bus station (for trips to Bethlehem) and Garden Tomb and only 10-15 minutes walk to the centre where you can find modern shops and restaurants. Nice roof terrace (but unfortunately the bar wasn't staffed while we were there).
No tea and coffee facilities in the room which seems odd for a four star hotel as there were no leisure facilities or anything else to warrant four stars.
Excellent location, across the street from Old City walls, with view of the walls from the roof-top bar. Easy to get into the Old City. Breakfast buffet was very good and offered great variety. Staff was helpful..
The neighbor is a bit rough. It's the Moslem section -- dirty streets, litter, construction, etc. Hotel seemed expensive, but we probably were paying for the location rather then the accommodations.
The location and the staff were great, the rooms were ok, we had a very pleasant stay and we do recommend this hotel. good value for money.
the wifi was not working
The staff was very friendly, it is a great location, updated rooms, wonderful breakfast and easy to find and locate transpiration.
No Tea/Coffee facilities in the room. No Fridge in the room. No lift to the reception floor. Very hard to find restaurants in the area. Only able to eat at the hotel or from food stalls.
Position Bedroom 316 Nadene at the reception
Parking tricky. Crowded restaurant
Very helpful personnel and very cooperative answering your questions. Huge assortment of food for breakfast. A couple of hundred meters away from entering the old city.
good location with helpful staff
had to walk to 1St Floor with bags
Outside of the hotel area was untidy
Great location!, great breakfast!, helpfull staff (Rafik-thank you so much:) we asked him about trips to dead sea in the evening and he organised it, so we could go next morning, the same with the transport to the airport;) nice room, nice terrace, cheapest area (muslim) in Jerusalem, bakery & shop24h & take away is 5 min walk;)
I would like to go there again;)
Very close to Damascus Gate. Big variety in the breakfast buffet. Wifi everywhere. Nice bed and nice room!
Staff was too fast to clear breakfast table. I lost my coffee at my table while toasting bread even though I left my key to show I was still there. Ran to save it, just to realize my toast was being removed at the buffet.
The staff was very helpful and polite.
There was no elevator so we had to drag heavy suitcases up many stairs. Very rundown and out dated furniture.Bdeeing was fair to poor
Best location...convenience of buses, taxis, restaurants, shopping. Damascus & Herod's Gates of the old city are just a few minutes away walking. When you get tired from touring, it was only a quick walk back to your hotel room. Would definitely stay here again!
It's a bit on the pricey side, as are the hotels in Jerusalem...but its location is so very convenient!
Location! Location!! Location!!!
Hotel is rundown old furniture very small rooms and staff that don't greet or even smile
Fantastic location, very comfortable bedrooms and public rooms and excellent breakfast with lots of choice. The staff were extremely helpful, booked us a shuttle to the airport and kept our cases safe until we had to leave on our return to the airport.
