Breakfast Family atmosphere
Great location and very clean and modern hotel (recently refurbished). The views from the balcony and including our bedroom were fantastic and the staff were exceptional.
The bathroom size is a little on the small side but otherwise adequate facilities!
Helpfull people at reception
Lift was'nt working. Had to wait for room
location staff rooms roof garden
The location is wonderful, really in the hearth of the Old J'lem! Nice people speaking a good English at the reception.
Room furnitures should be renovated and services must be improved (cleaning, WI-FI). Definitely in the price should be included breakfast!
It's so close to the Aqsa.
Lack of good will for guests. Money minded staff.
The hotel d oes not allow unmarried couple to share a room: practically a non issue, but it would be nice to know ahead. Wifi connection rarely worked, no breakfast was served as it was ramadan (again not a big thing, but why not inform guests before they book?). Twice a member of staff knocked at our door in the middle of the night, probably by mistake: no explanation nor apology. In 2 days only a young girl at the reception smiled at us: again, probably a mistake.
Very good position inside the old city, if you like to stay in the souk.
No breakfast during ramadan. Very small rooms.
Right in the middle of Old Town, very unique experience seeing the Dome on the Rock from your room window. Staff was helpful with directions and place was pretty clean. Good bang for the buck
They don't take credit card but tons of ATMs are around if you don't have the shekels on hand
The location in the Old City was excellent. Warm and friendly atmosphere.
wonderful interior kind staff
hotel is localized in muslim quarter, for us it was very good, for somebody it could be hard
Staff was great, kind, helpful and relaxed! Loved having hot tea and coffee available anytime. Great optional breakfast with eggs as well. Great central location and loved sitting on the covered roof looking out over the city. Adequate and clean place that felt safe.
Room for 4 was very small and hard to get around in with suitcases. No shower door so even with care, floor and mat was always soaked. Window was blocked by something outside, light bulbs were dim so room lighting was poor. Part of hotel under construction so noisy at times, but gone during the day so not a major issue.
The location is central and the staff was very friendly. All major attractions of the old city can be easily reached. Nice roof garden, very pleasant and cool in the afternoon with a beatiful panorama.
As with almost all hotels in the historic part of the city, stairs are quite many. The hotel, however, is in course to install an elevator.
super location, helpful staff (all brothers), spacious room with great views and decent breakfast.
the noise...there is building work ongoing and there is a sign saying work takes place between 0930 and 1830 - but it starts earlier and on some nights finished around 2200. please correct the sign!
Had building work for new lift will be great when finished
Central location in the Old City.
Noise in certain parts of the hotel, depending which room you get.
It is located in a very convenient position, very close to the via Dolorosa and the Holy Sepulcher...it is not very expensive But very basic
Not very clean
The staff were very friendly and helpful. As Christians we never felt unwelcome. The room was great and very clean. The Hashimi Hotel is the place to be if you want to explore the old city.
The place was very clean and the rooftop garden had a spectacular view.
Atmosphere felt very cold and unwelcoming. Wifi and aircon worked occasionally. There was building work going on from 7 in the morning until 1 in the morning, making it very hard to sleep.
The hotel is cheap compared with the prices of most places in Jerusalem. The room was very clean and the location couldn't be better for tourists, since it's right in the middle of the Old City.
I asked the staff for information about public transport from Jerusalem to other places and they didn't help me. Also, it's very much a muslim hotel, so western people can feel a bit like a fish out of water.
Location in the heart of the Old City was an outstanding feature almost eclipsing the negative aspects described below
Hotel in the midst of major building works, drilling and hammering until 9.30 pm. The roof terrace was a builders yard. The quality of breakfast was dependant on who was on duty... ranging from excellent to atrocious
Best location in Jerusalem. Very friendly staff. Great rooftop. Delicious breakfast. My second stay and I really like it.
disgusting hotel, dirty and uncomfortable, the worst i've ever seen in 30 years of travellling. One of the staff particulary rude and dishonest. The room was completely run down. I do not know how it is possible that booking proposes a such terrible hotel. It can ruin your holidays
