The building is over 425 years old, and is a perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day sight seeing in the city. All historical and religious sites are walking distance from the hotel. Lovely man at the front desk who was very understadning when we said we couldnt stay longer. Noisy at night. Acoustics mean that you hear every conversation in the hotel. People banging on doors early in the evening. Rooms clean and tidy but not modern.

The location is exciting and very convenient for someone exploring the old city of Jerusalem. It feels safe and is clean. The rooftop eating area has a good view. I would recommend it without reservation for someone who wants to be in the middle of an authentic middle eastern cross cultural experience, but who wants a safe refuge.

We stayed 3 nights at the Hashimi Hotel and we very happy with the service/ facilities provided by the hotel, the breakfast had a great variety & taste, the view from the bedroom and balcony was amazing, the hotel was very tidy and provided free internet/ tea/ coffee facilities and the staff were all very helpful, just like to mention in particular - 'Salah' was very helpful, giving plenty of advice and always smiling

A wonderful place atmosphere would be the key word. Personally I loved it. The most incredible roof terrace with 180 degree view of old Jerusalem. Room was small clean and just functional. If your overweight you might not get into the shower. There was only 1 working outlet in the room. They do not take credit cards. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. My nephew the world traveler thought excellent location, excellent staff, excellent terrace with a view, a good bang for the buck. We would both definitely recommend it.

the water is good, the location is good, just inside the down town. roof view is good. the room is small.can't use credit card. except the boss, all the staff is not helpful. any question you asked them, they will say please go to the information center. the attitude is really bad. we book 4 nights, when we want to cancel one night, they refused, said not allowed. then we have to ask friend to help to take it, then they deduct 1/3 money, very snaky.
