National Hotel is in one of Jerusalem's busiest shopping districts, a 5 minute drive from Herod's Gate, an entrance into Jerusalem's Old City. Parking and Wi-Fi are both free.
Score from 889 reviews Very good
In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.
Score from 1312 reviews Good
Perfectly located in the old city of Jerusalem. Nothing to complain about.
The staff, other guests, breakfast, location, roof views, updated rooms, in heart of Old Walled City of Jerusalem.
Wi fi could be better. Need reading lights over beds.
Location was excellent and the staff were polite and went out of the way to help
Breakfast was very good but still can improve it with more choices of bread and bakery
No WiFi and lot of steps to enter to Hotel
my two rooms have the view of masjidil al-aqsa which was amazing.
it will be good to have a bar fridge and a kettle.
The welcome at reception was great; Saleh who works there is a true professional, very attentive to all customer needs. The location cannot be beat: smack in the middle of old Jerusalem, steps away from the via Dolorosa.
internet in room is a bit sketchy but ir works.
Mr Saleh the hotel manager was very welcoming and made sure whatever we needed it was fulfilled making our first trip to Jerusalem a welcoming one. The Jerusalem tour was also planned by him with very reasonable price and very funny entertainment on the tour bus by Mr Saleh. Would definitely recommend Hashimi Hotel
I had a wonderful stay at the Hashimi. Although it states that it's a 2* I would without any exaggeration rate it at 5*. The staff were so friendly. Saleh the manager Yazan the chef Amjad front desk Ashraff front desk. The cleaner and all other staff whose names I can't remeber. Saleh makey this hotel to be a wonderful homely environment. Yazan the chef is always cheerful and ready to prepare anything for you. Teach and coffee facilities available 24/7. Kitchen available anytime of the day. The cleaner would come round daily and clean your room. Change the sheets and leave freshly washed towels with a great smile. Overall there is no complaints whatsoever. I could write a book on my wonderful 7 night stay at this hotel. I really must mention the open top Balcony on the 4th floor which gives you wonderful views.
Everything was great.
Management and staff were friendly and very helpful. Ideal location to visit Al Aqsa Mosque. View from rooftop lounge was excellent. Hotel has been totally renovated. Loved the atmosphere in the dining area. Will highly recommend this Hotel. Mr Suleman the owner was very friendly and helpful and cleaner Amjad and chef also.
Friendly and helpful staff. Well located. Really inspirational hotel manager named Saleh. He made our stay an amazing one. The efficient and thoughtful Yaazen in the kitchen is another example of polite and considerate staff member. Thank you to all the staff, we were made to feel like famiy.
right in the heart of the old town lovely view from rooftop balcony helpful staff breakfast was OK hotel was clean
room was very noisy and bleak tiny internal window and single weak light I'm sure there were other better rooms with a good outlook, but mine was only suitable for a 1 star hotel wifi did not work
The location of this hotel is beyond compare. It is within easy walking distance of the major sites, and is the street on which it is situated is rich in local colour. Wonderful views, friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Really good value for money.
Be prepared to carry your suitcases from the Damascus or Jaffa Gate because the hotel is in a pedestrian zone.
Fantastic views, very kind people at the hotel, felt safe. Shokran.
I have just been for a fourth visit to Hashimi Hotel. It is always welcoming and comfortable, with very kind and helpful staff and 24-hour access. Breakfast is excellent and served in beautiful surroundings. The roof terrace definitely has the best views in Jerusalem!
Probably the best view in the city. I dont know whether every room has the view or not but it was perfect
Perfect location, specially the view from the roof garden
The view of the city from our room and terrace. Very helpful staff and nice breakfast. Safe and secure place. For sure we'll stay there if we go again. Overall was an excellent place to stay in Jerusalem.
climb of a few steps to get to the lobby.from there the elevator is available.
Location Free WiFi in room
The bathroom has no place to put your things and Im not talking about makeup etc.. Im talking about a place to hang your clothes while you shower. I ended up hanging them on top of the door meaning you cant close the door while taking a shower.
Reception very helpful with travel arrangements., late checkout etc. Palestinian people there very gentle friendly and accommodating with requests. Where in the world would you find a hotel 20 meters from a centuries old, living souk?
Perfect location at the centre of the Old City, kind and helpfull staff, very inspirative athmospere of the place. Simply but functionally furnishesd.
Paying only in cash. Building activity in hotel till the evening, but not every day. Some fightings close to this hotel.
The conditions are good except the TV doesn't work. The room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in the old city, which is good for those who are familiar with the place.
it's difficult to find for those people who are first there. In the holiday, the price is too expensive.
The people were very helpful and curtious. There use of English was excellent. The view was wonderful!
There was renovations being done, but I'm sure that was temporary. Besides, for a first class establishment undergoing some work, it was amazingly clean.
The location in the Suq Khan El-Zeit, a bustling market. The oasis of calm behind the front door. The friendliness and helpfulness of the family that own the Hashimi. The effectiveness of the air conditioning! The value for money. A beautiful building with oodles of character.
The previously reported lift is now completed and in use. There is however some refurbishment going on in some rooms though this is due to be complete within the month. This work did not detract from my stay of 5 days at all.
, injured my toe from porr location of the furiture,no tour programms available from this hotel, poor wifi
