This is luxurious place where you have to work hard to find drawbacks. Everything is top-notch, or nearly so.
No food if you have a fantasy of eating lunch, restaurants open in the evening.
Me and friend got free upgrade for 2 rooms luxury suite with fabulous sea view on 10th floor with free entrance to the business lounge and spa in Herods Palace instead our regular room in Herods Boutique because the hotel was overbooked!! It was wonderful surprise. And on evening the room service bring us wine and fruits as a compliment. I love Herods..yes it's not very new but it's a classic beautiful Hotel with good service and friendly personal
The room was beautiful, well air conditioned, large bathroom, nice view from window. We had access to the Vitalis spa, which we used. The food in the atrium of the main hotel was scrumptious. And the breakfast spread was huge and delicious. The swimming pool was large and interesting and clean.
The staff, while pleasant and knowledgeable about the hotel, seemed to know nothing about the area, where other attractions were, even how to get to the border crossing into Jordan, which was about 3 miles away.
Very nice facility, excellent location, spacious rooms
Hotel maintenance is sub standard for the price... Rooms are not very clean, stains on beds and carpets. there were cats in hallways... hotel looks "old" throughout...
Not clean. Where is the management? Brojen bottles and glass all around the day after a wedding party. Wine spilled on the tiles at the spa not cleaned for 2 days...
The room was large
The beach was grimy and the pool was crowded.
Good breakfast Location and view are excellent No noise Lounge is included for booking bookers When we extended our stay we were made a good discount + compliment(wine and fruits) For low service of Israel hotel this one is ok.
Old rooms, need repairment Swimming pool bed are old too simple Grass is not natural Building are old and not clean Swimming pool area remains dirty until next morning Lounge area food was too simple and alcohol was cheap Too much parfume in the hall Towels and shower gel were not replaced sometimes Room was not enough clean after cleaning After all this hotel looks ok comparing to others Israel 5 stars, but is only 3-4 stars comparing to European ones.
Was upgraded to VIP guest and got upgraded suite , SPA free entrance and free lounge buffet !!!
Evening buffet is extremely expensive and not worth it at all.
comfortable room, close to beach, lovely pools, enjoyed free access to spa and business lounge, clean.
We paid through booking.com and realised that we had paid too much for our accomodation. The restaurant at the pool was exhorbitantly expensive and poor quality.
The staff was all wonderful and VERY attentive. They asked regularly if you needed anything or if everything was fine. Their concern was excellent and everyone cared that your stay would be positive. The rooms were super clean and well maintained with fine amenities. The hotel manager Tal was always checking when she walked by to see if the guests needed anything. She had a genuine concern for making sure the hotel was running smoothly. Ron and Leo on the front desk reception I think were very helpful making sure that anything that was needed was attended to like museum reservations or dinner suggestions. You won't be disappointed from this hotel!!!!!
This is not a 5 star. It is dirty, poorly managed and extremely unorganized. If you like broken furniture and rude people this is your hotel
Nice rooms, great breakfast buffet.
Staff was not very competent, e.g. They were not able to recommend a diving school to us.
very plush very clean, responsive staff
Room big and comfortable, free Spa and 2 glasses of champagne at reception on arrival
Friendly helpful staff. Large spacious room.
Cute friendly manager. Unfortunately, she cannot fix anything.
Usually, coming to Eilat I do not expect any high-standard service. But this hotel has successfully exceeded all my anti-expectations. The room was totally worn-out , ragged furniture, carpets were not cleaned for ages and we're covered with a layer of oily substance, somebody's hair were left in the bathroom. We planned to arrive late , so I priorly asked them to prepare beds for children, if wasn't done. If you ask the housekeeper to come 15 min later, you may not expect her today, even if you ask the reception to make up the room. Scrambled eggs on breakfast were cold, as well as lasagna, sausages and ravioli. All looked like the day before yesterday'S. Sad experience.
staff could not do enough we were upgraded to vip when we complained about the poor decor in room the managaress was very pleasant, food was of a high standard expecially the lounge for vip guests some of the best smoked salmon i have had in israel
room was very dissapointing , we were upgraded and given a two floor room the view was bad, the shower was broken the decor was dated and tacky, the boutique hotel is boring, you have to pay for the spa even though we were vip we were ushered away very rudly when we tried to look upstairs at the spa hotel. overall very disapointed ,the managaress offered us a 20 percent discount next time but i dont think it is worth it we have traveled all around the united states in 5 star acomodation israe just does not do service or value ,
Beautiful garden with several pools (both at the Boutique and the Palace), interesting oriental/antique decoration in common areas. We stayed there off-season, so there weren´t many people. Could imagine that everything is a bit crowded in summer. We got a free upgrade, spacious suite, huge terrace, two bathrooms... Thanks to that we were also able to access the Vitalis spa, which is definitely one of the best in Israel. Very clean, several jacuzzis (indoor and outdoor), great state-of-the- art gym, amazing complementary snacks. Special thanks to the receptionists - best service we have ever had in Israel.
Only several really hard and high pillows available, furniture a bit outdated and in need of refreshment.
We got an upgrade on arrival which gave us access to the executive lounge and spa. Breakfast was very good.
In hotel dining options are very expensive. Catering staff are inconsistent and not very friendly.
nice room and welcome staff. Eccelent breakfast.
The maintanance of the room and the cleanless of thepublic areas.
This was our second stay at Herods Boutique. We booked our first stay at the hotel a few months ago and we were very happy with their service so we decided to stay there for our next visit to Eilat. It was the best decision! Same as last time, the service was excellent, room was clean and staff were very nice - we also got upgraded to a bigger room, free entrance to the Vitalis Spa and Business launge :). Definitely going back there again on our next visit!
this hotel deserves each star: Very beautiful three building komplex, i stayed at the elegant calm boutique building with its fantastic view to Akaba in Jordan and the Red Sea. Breakfast ist great and the Vitalis SPA just fabulous. One of the best Hotels I have ever seen!
The stuff is typicaly for Israeli Hotels not highly proffessional. The room service variety is quite limited and it takes quite long till someone in the reception pics up the phone. The cleaning personal is obviously not very proffessional either, they have no "eye" for the little details
The manger of reception Idan was fantastic. We were upgraded to a two floor suite he really made sure we had a fantastic time.
We got a free entrance to the VIP Lounge. The stuff was very nice. The beach and pool are very clean. The atmosphere of great vacation during all period of stay in Herods.
