I liked the fact that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the peace and quite at the private pool area and spa.

We spend five days in this hotel and i ordered one additional day.Very good place for rest. Food exelent too. Wait for next vacation

Everyone spoke English and other languages...real world class! Excellent experience!

Everything was 1st class! Impressed that staff spoke English &other languages. Very helpful at concierge and tour operators. Spa was superb! A wonderful experience!

The hotel was amazing! We were treated with respect and the staff were always keen to help in any way possible. The room service was not overpriced and arrived quickly. The room was cleaned by the time we got back from breakfast. The breakfast buffet was 6 star! Every type of food you could imagine was readily available. (Except meat ) :)

The only annoying thing was that the pool closed at 6pm which was disappointing as the sun only sets around 8:30pm. There was also no concierge available in the evening which was odd.

Everything is great at Herod's the food the rooms the striking views of this hotel.

My husband believe that parking was a little too complicated. They told us to reached parking first then unload the luggage there-- unlikely from the parking station office they send us back to the Hotel entrance approach to unload our luggage and my husband who was already after several hours on the road; he got very dissapointed it about the way they handled this operation. We are not making this comment as complaint mode but intentionally to motivate management to make parking experience much easier for the guest. It might be possible that source of the problem was that by the time we arrived the parking was full and they send us to another parking lot much further so the belt boy's do not serve this areas. I just assuming that this could be the problem. Please keep my identity anonymous.

One of the nicest Hotels I ever stayed at.Superb service with a luxury spa and a buiseness lounge on the 11 th floor with free drinks including wine and champaine and snacks(hot and cold,vary during the day)from 11.ooAM until o6.oo PM.Special thanks to the nice ethiopian Lady who is in charge of the Lounge.She is absolutely perpect and tries to please everybody.Thank you,once again!The free Lounge and free entry to the Spa is only available to Club Floor and Executive Rooms,though others may use it against a charge.Wonderful Hotel,no reason to complain !

The hotel was beautiful and the grounds of the pool area were beautiful. The rooms were very clean, attractively decorated and were in good condition.

The staff seemed to lack training. If up called down to ask a question they often didn't call you back. Many of the staff at the hotel were incompetent and/or did not understand english. The housekeeping staff was excellent and responded immediately and even followed up. The staff were not helpful in giving us information about Eilat. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful, but especially the pool area needs some up keep and the pool chairs were dirty and not in good working condition.

Fortunatley we had access to the Vitalis Spa pool area. This was quiet and pleasant and a major benefit over the pool area at teh Palace.

Whilst there were exceptions, in general the staff were very unhelpful, disinterested and scruffily dressed. Also it took 40 minutes to check-in because we had to convince the receptionist that we had booked an executive room with the benefits that this gave. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this.

The pools, beach and common areas are lovely.

Unless you are upgraded to executive level, the rooms are tired and old. Having spent the previous night in Aqaba at the Movenpick, I couldn't help but compare quality and value. I think Herod's has been relying on reputation. The rooms are certainly not worth what they cost.

The hotel needs to be kept up a bit better. Lounge chairs by the pool are dirty and many are broken. Some of the public areas could use a bit of updating

We had to sit in the lobby for hours because the rooms were not ready. The dining room was overrun with children and the chairs at the pool were in terrible condition

שהינו במלון 4ימים , 6 מבוגרים וילדה. נהננו מכל רגע. החדרים מעוצבים ומרווחים. הנוף מהמרפסת מהמם. הבריכות גדולות ומעוצבות בסגנון תאילנד...לא הרגשנו צפוף. השירות מצוין ומעל המקובל. המלון נותן אוירת חופש אמיתית. האוכל מגוון וטעים ומוגש בצורה אסטטית ויפה. הרגשנו שקיבלנו תמורה מלאה לכספינו ונשמח לחזור ולהתארח במלון זה שוב.
