Safe but poor location for sightseeing Jerusalem. Breakfast adequate but not great.
Rooms desperately need updated and cleaning. Mold in bathrooms, bedding threadbare. Some rooms not properly constructed; our bathroom was outside building walls. Walls were thin; conversations in next room were audible. The owner did not call cabs when requested twice; he seems to have more on his plate than he can handle. Breakfast area not rain proof. Would not recommend this property.
Nir and staff were friendly and helpful, though not always available at the hotel. Nir made sure to arrainge a cab to bring my documents to me in Tel Aviv after I had forgotten them in the hotel. Close to small shopping center with banks, restaurants and a grocery, and walking distance to the light train and Ammunition Hill museum. Breakfast was fresh every morning even though there were few guests.
The room was very small and dark, and hadn't been cleaned very well. It would have been quite cramped with two people. The shower and toilet were outside on the enclosed balcony. The house is situated in a religious suburb of Jerusalem, so for someone who is not religious, has no car nor an unlimited budget for cab fare, it basically means being stuck there during Sabbath.
Lovely b&b in a very peaceful part of Jerusalem. The room was small but perfect for a couple, and there was a spacious communal area just outside the room, with a small kitchenette. Nir, the owner, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet of israeli food is delicious. The location is great if you don't want to be right in the tourist centre of Jersualem. The tram stop is a ten minute walk and takes you right to the old city.
Very helpful staff, many information about location, family comfort, good breakfast.
Dark room, almost no windows
Nir and his mother-in-law (who welcomed the first morning) are charming and very helpful people - they gave us many valuable tips about visiting Jerusalem and Israel as a whole; the room was spacious and very comfortable and we liked the breakfast - but don't be too late!
not very close to the city centre but is wasn't a problem for us as we used the car anyway
Breakfast set us up for the day and great coffee, Nir was very helpful and informative his helper Ahmed was always ready to supply anything needed, the House was ideally located for the tram and about 10 mins walk to a parade of local shops and a nice gesture, we were able to keep our room till 5 o' clock.
Clean, good fresh breakfast, many flouers
A little far from center - during saturday possible to reach bu taxi or 1 hour walking
Nir is a very nice and helpful host. We had a wonderful time at house 57. Make sure to safe some time for breakfast. It is soo good and we unfortunately had always rush to the jerusalem-sights...
Great place to stay. A lot of free parking places near. A few tram stops from Old City. Nice stuff! Owner of the place is always available and able to help you with any problem. Ideal for traveling with rented car. Cosy garden with nice view.
Private housing environment, safe and very quiet. Not in the Old City, but you can choose to take train to downtown, it's 10 minutes walk to the train station.
breakfast is not so fresh.
great value for money very good location, parking without any problem very nice a careful owner who makes you feel like at home good breakfast definitely stay there again

I liked the owner, Nir, and his kindness and consideration for our comfort. The room was clean and warm and breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend house 57 when visiting Israel.
- Very friendly host :-) - Great breakfast - Excellent location - Great value for money --> I definitely recommend this place and will return again sometime!
Incredible zimmer.Owner, Nir, was right there for all our questions and travel plans, and his assistant, Akram, who drove us through Hebron to MizpeRamon, and through Nablus to Zichron Ya'akov in his Mercedes, well, did I say "incredible"? The location of the zimmer in a residential neighborhood, not in a heavy tourist area , was very much to our liking. Definitely stay there again.
The owner was kind and hospitable
