National Hotel is located in one of Jerusalem's busiest shopping districts, a 5-minute drive from Herod's Gate, an entrance into Jerusalem's Old City. Parking and Wi-Fi are both free.

Set in the heart of Jerusalem, just 20 metres from Ben Yehuda Street, the City Center Jerusalem offers air-conditioned accommodation with a kitchenette. The Old City is a 15-minute walk away.

King Solomon Hotel is a 15-minute walk from the Old City and 1 km from Jerusalem city centre. It features elegant rooms with flat-screen TV and a swimming pool with city views.
Score from 310 reviews Good
The hotel is near the central bus station and the light rail, but it was quiet. The manager asked us if she could help us when we came back to our room the first day and we mentioned that the hook was missing from the back of our bathroom door. Within 5 minutes we had a maintenance man there who fixed it. The breakfast was ample and good.
Good hotel; good location, tansportation nearby
During 5 nights the hotel was full with groups of teenagers that produced unqualifiable noise in the rooms and corridors until 4 am. Five real nightmares! Staff impotent to intervene.
The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was fabulous! Highly recommend getting the breakfast included in stay. Hotel convenient to public transportation, cabs, tours, and historic sites.
I liked that the staff were professional and very helpful. They were willing to allow us to check in early even though we were ready to just leave our bags in the closet until check in time and we didn't even ask! The cleaning staff were great and the room was always clean and well attended to. The view was lovely and it is a good value for the location and the price. We chose to stay somewhere very close to the bus station on purpose and this suited our needs perfectly.
Considering that the country was under constant rocket fire while we were there, and that we had just buried three innocent neshamot that had been murdered in cold blood, it is hard to feel that any small picky tourist comment is worth mentioning. I will however say that while breakfast was good, it was obvious that the cucumbers were not all fresh. I would have preferred more salad selections but what was offered was very generous.
The bed was comfortable and double glazed windows but that doesn't help the racket inside the hotel. Buffet breakfast same every day and plentiful.
Wi-fi = 20 shekels per device per day. Hotel over run (90%) by 20 yr olds yelling and punching each other. Yelling outside our room til 2am and had to argue with them to stop! Charged 3.50 USD for coffee made from a kettle! Was charged to borrow the hair dyer and refunded upon return. Reception staff don't speak English. A good 40 minute walk to the Western Wall.
The guy in the reception unpolite... we couldnt arrive to ask he started "10 euros wifi" so funny. There was a group of students in our level.. they rang our door all the time..the reception didnt do anything. 2 am they rang again! Then in the morning since 7 am, their teacher had a Master key and got inside our room.. its unbelievable.the location is bad. When we arrived the room wasnt clean, a extra bed was there completelly dirty like someone was using. Dont stay in this place, I would prefer sleep in the street.
Excellent location, courteous and helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and nice facilities and proximity to bus station,LRTstation,Ben Yehuda market...etc.
Wi-fi support needs improvement.
Location next to central station
Staff is awful, they don't see their guests as customers. The hotel is out of date in all aspects.
No parking , not so clean ,old towels, stinky sops,
Broken shower head.
Attitude of the mangement and employees very bad. Constantly lied to. Three employees and the manger told me that the jr. suite did not include a kitchenette even though the description and pictures show it. Was told that I would have to pay for wifi even though it states it is free. I had to take my confirmation to the desk to prove it was included. The overall experience was bad and took away from the fact we were there for s few days 56 anniversary celebration. I would suggest not to stay here unless everything else is booked up and your only other choice is the sidewalk
Excellent location right by central bus station and light rail. Very easy to get to all parts of Jerusalem and other cities. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay here again
Wifi internet not free
Meals were very good. Any problems were attended to early, cleanliness was excellent and generally quietness was maintained.
The Wi-Fi was not fast enough and it would be much appreciated if it could be included in the package than having to pay for it on a daily bases
Good for budget minded travelers. Located next to the Central Bus Station, which has many shops, bakeries, fast food restaurants, etc. Also near a supermarket and within walking distance from Mahane Yehuda market. Friendly staff.
While we were there, a large group of college students also stayed there and were very noisy late at night in the hallway. Door is not soundproof.
It was a good buy. The shabbat breakfast was nice, with a good assortment of Israeli salad-type items, burekas, and American cereal. The coffee was plentiful, but only adequate. There was milk available for coffee (and cereal), but I didn't have a pitcher on the table, so I needed to take my coffee cup to the milk. But it was a good buy.
It's big, breakfast is great, & it's clean, very close to the tram and just down the bus station
The staff wasn't always very helpful/friendly (what you can expect of a 4 stars..), they made the use of wifi very annoying, it's clean but quite old and could use a bit of refurbishing!
Wifi not free, a bit far from old city, on shabbat walk too much.
Nothing. The service was terrible. Food terrible. Room terrible. All terrible.
Location is the best thing about this hoteldand it is located close to the central bus station.1
Wifi is paid - 40 NIS per day, whereas it is free in any other hotel.
We were charged $70 approx for late check out, we were charged ,it seems more than 18% for the tax.at the end we were charged nearly double the price you quoted. we had to pay 824 NIS while you quoted Approx 83 Pounds. The staff was very sourly .it was not a very pleasant experience.
They gave us welcome drinks and a voucher for two more drinks from the cafe/bar.
We thought we were getting free wifi, but they only gave us wifi for one device. They charge USD $5 to add a device. They started room cleaning early and knocked on our door before checkout even though we were checking out of the hotel on that day.
Great location for transport, but is quite some way from most touristy things
Paid wifi was average. Restaurant only had buffet, so very limited options on holidays. Safe's memory did not always work.
Great. Location and staff.
- Certainly not a four star hotel. - Worn out - has not been renovated for at least 20 years.
