The hotel lobby was nice and friendly. We were shocked and disappointed that despite specifically asking for a king size double bed we were on 2 different bookings given a room with 2 single beds for me and my girlfriend. After arguing with thc front desk we were given a queen size bed.

The hotel has an excellent location but the facilities are old and the rooms are not so clean. Some items, like hairdryer and king size bed, although offered in the website, are not available at all.

Only the location as it is near the bus and train station though we had our own car. Can buy basic needs inside the bus station which was very convenient. We didn't really expect too much but the variety of foods for breakfast could have been improved. Upon arrival at around 9pm, me and my very tired family were told to wait for 20mins for our room to be ready. Only after insisting and demanding our room be given to us were we finally checked in after an hour. We reported that our telephone was not working and the safe was closed when we came and till we checked out no one ever attended and took care of it. Upon check out, the man in charge of the front desk, Leonid, was not sure of all his answers to my questions about our bill. He insisted that I ordered, upon check-in at 2215hrs, a bottle of sprite which costs $3.00. Of course I challenged it because we never did order any sprite. Leonid was not at all courteous to their hotel guest and should not be put in charge of the front desk.

Location next door to Jerusalem bus station and short drive to tel aviv airport. Staff not welcoming at all. Rooms are old fashioned. Our toilets were blocked on the morning of departure. Not pleasant. When we mentioned this to the staff, did not care less. Only use this hotel for a night when you need to get a bus early or need to be early at the airport.

Very nicely located. Steps from the bus and tram lines. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good and the staff in the dining/breakfast were pleasant Tagreed the maid was very nice and the room was well cleaned by her. If you needed anything she got it for you and she was always so pleasant. If you need the internet , especially for business, this hotel will not work for you! It was approximately $7 per 24 hours for the internet and most of the time the internet would not work! Because of lack of the internet response time and just plain not working I lost quite a bit of money on a business tranaction. Needless to say I was not very happy inside because of this. The staff did not seem to understand the importance of internet access when traveling. When there is a a big time zone difference, and lack of internet it can be a hugh problem. Why they don't just go back to a cable connection is beyond me! Their server stunk! The hotel rooms are tiny. To upgrade to the next size room is $80 per night.

I chose it for its location near the Jerusalem central bus station, and the low price. I was not disappointed. It has an old-fashioned ambiance, which I like, and the staff were the right combination of friendly and unobtrusive. I liked seeing families there; that speaks well for the hotel. Staying over one night for business, I chose the cheapest room. Very clean, if a little spare. Bed comfortable and view over Jaffa Road interesting. For a one-night stay, it was fine. The window in my room was hanging off one hinge - heavy and dangerous to close. It had been left open. Obviously the cleaning crew hadn't notified the management. However, when I mentioned it, they sent a repairman right away. The food wasn't great - standard Israeli breakfast buffet, plenty of everything, but sort of watery. Even the scrambled eggs and cottage cheese tasted watered down somehow. Still, it was fuel for the morning's activities, and if I were bringing a family with youngsters, it would have been a good deal for the price.

Perhaps it's standard in Israel, but little charges add up (like 2.5 Shekels per minute on local phone calls made from the bedside telephone which I didn't find out about until I was checking out of the Hotel). It's a fine place but it felt a little pricey for pretty standard, even a little barebones accommodations. It's conveniently located on the tram line, but unless you have a need to stay outside of the Old City, I would recommend being there where there's more going on.

Good room (small but very clean, well laid out), good heating. Location. Had a refrig, so we bought food rather than pay $70 for a Shabbat meal. Lousy service -- several issues were not resolved. Staff was polite, but (perhaps too few) things didn't happen. They need to include directions from the bus station -- 1 minute by the right route, but we wandered for 30.

During Shabbat I had no problem for parking near hotel. It's located in a business area near the entry to the city from Tel Aviv side. Need renovation, in current state, I'd not classify it as a 4* hotel. Yafo street is for public transport only, so I suggest all being attentive when choosing driving directions to the hotel.

It had potential, but really poorly cared for. We got a room that was not cleaned after the previous guests, the bed was unmade and there were cut toenails on the night stand. It was quite revolting. They changed our room to one that was in process of being cleaned, so we has to wait until it was ready.

The location near the main bus station was perfect for easy transport by bus anywhere in the country There was absolute minimum number of staff on duty and as a result the staff were exhuasted and demotivated. The rooms were not so clean, specially the rooms with floor carpet. The carpet was dirty ana had bad smell. For two days I had a room without carpet and it was much better.
