Staff was friendly and ushered me into their private parking lot, although such parking was not promised by booking.com. Great view of the Eastern wall of old Jerusalem, and a reasonable walk to get to the old city via Lion (aka St. Stephen's) gate or Dung gate. Quiet enough location, with wonderful position to listen to the calls to prayer. Hotel prices are high all over Israel, so this place wasn't cheap. But relatively fine value for money. Great hotel choice for Jerusalem, especially if one travels by car which would make a stay within the walls a big hassle. Liked the hotel and location so much that we stayed there for the duration of our stay in Israel and day-tripped from there. Wifi internet worked ok. Shower pumped out hot water at all times (for 4 people) and plenty of towels were made available. The basic booking.com map showing the hotel location was better than any map I found in Israel or in guidebooks. Buffet breakfast starts at 6:30 for those who wish to beat the heat. Shop across the street for bottled water, and a fine fruit stand 100m away, open early and late. Extra bed in room was too soft for max comfort. Top floor dining room looked tired, and buffet breakfasts were basic. But daily fried eggs and fresh hummos with such a wonderful view are tough to beat.

This very affordable hotel has an excellent location. My room had a view onto the dome of the rock and the temple complex. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The proximity to the the main sites in the old city is also an added bonus. Don't let the look of the hotel deceive you. It looks a bit run down, but it has a lot of charm. Opening the windows can be a bit tricky because of the winds.

Staff mostly v friendly and helpful. Food pretty bad. It's difficult to get a good nights sleep when you're 50ft from a minorette which blasts out the Muslim call to prayer at 430am.

The only good thing about this hotel was the kindness of the staff The position is bad, you will need a taxi there wherever you go. The room and the bathroom were quite badly maintained, even the window couldn't be closed and cold wind would come into the room all night. Breakfast was not good at all, just a lot of canned fruit and disgusting milk and coffee.I Gave them some clothes to be washed for which they asked me the shameful amount of 33$ and they returned them completely ruined, still wet unironed and worst of all, all my white staff was returned pink!!! Literally they cused ;e hundreds of euros in damages. I do not recommend this hotel aat all. The price/quality level is absurd

It's situated on Olive Mountain. The breakfast was great. It was very cold in the room, not clean because the hotel is very old and far from old city if you walk.

The view from the hotel was magnificent. There is absolutely nothing happening at the hotel, you are not even able to buy a bottle of water. Extremely boring, but will do for 1 night only.

Liked the location which was very close to Mount of Olives and the Old City of Jerusalem. We had amazing views from our bedroom one window looked over The Temple Mount and the other the Mount of Olives. The breakfast was a wonderful buffet to suit every taste, cereals, toast, omelette to order and a full range of meats salads. Please support this hotel they had a lot of cancellations due to the troubles but we (myself and my niece) just travelled all over Israel and Palestine so safely and had such a fabulous two weeks.

Location near Old City of Jerusalem was great. Excellent view of city and surrounding area. Free parking. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable room. For the price this was an excellent choice. Room heating was not working. Although room had been recently refurbished, some of the work was of poor quality.

the view of the old city is the best reason to choose this hotel their food isn´t good, the buffet is standing there for ages which influences the freshness, so go and eat elsewhere

Friendly and helpful staff tried their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Although the location is within panoramic view of the old city and the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa mosque, it also means it is close enough for Muslim visitors to these sites and they use the area of the hotel for parking. This causes a lot of noise and traffic congestion when they return after late night events. Both these sites are also very loud in their prayer announcements five times a day. If noise is not your thing, this hotel won't be your place.

Helpful staff and good views No air conditioning. Yes the units were there but they did not work at all! Very uncomfortable at night etc. Staff did eventually change us to another room on the cooler side of the building but still very hot. Also felt hotelnwas very expensive for what we got. Rated 4 star but 2 star at best, We were expecting much more considering what we paid etc.

Labai geras aptarnavimas, padėjo didžiausiose bėdose ir viską išspręsdavo. Pusryčiai sotūs ir valgyt gali kiek nori. Vaizdai neapsakomi Puikus kokybės ir kainos santykis. Jei keliaujate ne savo automobiliu ir reikes viesojo transporto tai nepaminrškite kad reiks daug persedineti, nes viesbucio vieta nepatogi del viesojo transporto.
