Score from 543 reviews Very good
It's a good hotel, staffs are nice, .
but breakfast is not that good. You also need to know that it's on the top of the mountain of olives. .. quite far for walking everyday, so you will need to add a cost of 30 shekels per trip to get in and out... this is if u know how to bargain, because they start asking for 60
Very courteous staff. Served us dinner after hours (and this was during Ramadan too). The view from the 6th floor dining room is incredible. There is nothing between you and your view of the historical spots in the Old City
Though the view is great and the hotel is fine, the neighborhood is composed of small shops, shouting in Arabic, dark alleyways and trash. (Not really the hotel's fault, but something that may disturb guests.
The staff were very friendly. The hotel is run professionally. The free breakfast was very good. It is very close to the Old City and the many historical sites most people want to see.
The location in in East Jerusalem and this part of the city isn't kept up as nice as that of West Jerusalem.
wireless treat of manager
Exceptional and exciting view at the old city.
The hotel is badly accessible by a public transport. The breakfast was poor.
Everything was very nice and the stuff very very helpfully and friendly. I can really recommend the hotel!!
Awesome view! Staff was helpful and friendly.
Area around the hotel was congested and impossible to get to with a bus. Some of the facilities were a bit past their prime.
location and perspective are superb
Wi-Fi only in lobby
the view the location the personnel's kindness the restaurant on the top floor
the breakfast food
Excellent light breakfast and view from the dining room. Excellent location.
comfort, meal, fantastic view on jerusalem
Great location to explore mount of olives and western walls.
Bathroom was not clean.
Location is nice - right in front of the old city. It's also a nice place to have a daily journey to Dead Sea. At night the view on old city is awesome. Has own parking which always has free space (if your car is city car). I think one of the best places in terms money/quality
Everything is very old. Very-very old. No balcony. No house's numbers as it is Arabian quarter - hard to find first time.
Fascinating view of The Old town. Just few minutes from Lions Gate.
the location is quite close to the old city (abot 20 min of walking or 10 min by bus), the quiet place and perfect view indeed, the personal's helpful and friendly
it's an extremely old-fashioned place with old and shabby furniture and a bath with worn out enamel, if you want to fill as if you are travelling to the real 80's of Jerusalem I guess you enjoy it!
The view of the Old City
In general all, area in wrong zone.
fantastic location, very helpful staff, terrace with spectacular view and fantastic chef! very highly recommended to those wanting to spend time in jerusalem
Location just outside Old Jerusalem
Dirty rooms, overpriced, tired and worn out facilities
Hotel has nice view from the restoran and from some rooms. Rooms are clean but hotel needs renovation, especially corridors and the restoran.
Brekfast was poor and Wifi too.
amazing view, great location and friendly staff
a bit messy neighbourhood, paper walls,
All the hotel staff is really helpfull and nice. The view on the old city is really great. There is a short walk to the City. The value for money is good. The breakfast offers huge selection of meals. However you would prefer not stay in this area if you are young women travelling alone.
Situated in arabic quarter. You need to know that the neigbouhood is extremely aggressive and this is simply dangerous to leave the car and especially to go outside at night. We (2 girls) were abused several times while just trying to park the car and get to the hotel. You also need to have the knowledge of how computer networks are working if you want to set up WiFi connection.
The view was excellent and the bedrooms were nice. We were able to get wifi in our room, which was a big plus.
The dinner buffet was exceedingly expensive ($20 a head) and incomplete. They had tea packets but no hot water and only water to drink. They had several entrees, but they were definitely lacking in flavor.
The location was great on mount of olives with access to lots of historical places outside of the city. The room was spacious and clean.
The breakfast seemed more like a lunch buffet.
The view only....
Dirty carpets, cutlery and cups served during breakfast, some of the hotel reception staff speak hardly no English, mould in bathroom, generally the hotel is very worn-out and desperately needs renovation. Stayed in the room overlooking Jerusalem, however also a narrow but quite busy street - all the hooting, shouting and constant hum of traffic is not what I call relaxation at night...
Minor things needed maintenance done e.g toilet seat needed fixing attached by only one hinge. Qualty and taste of the fooda was hit and miss, food handlers could be seen smoking in the kitchen area.
