The upgrade to a club room & the location made this worthwhile. The room was very big with a refurbished bathroom.
the bedroom had no balcony
we brought 13 other people with us and using the Shabbat elevator was toooo slow .

the person who was in reception when i checked in was good, not only because he offer me a free wifi - but he was helpful with many things and directions and had a helping attitude
tried contact the reception, most of the times no one pick up phone, twice i had to go down and no one is there and you need to look around for someone. room service took long time to contact back - breakfast was not up to the standard of a 5* hotel
Some staff really went out of their way to help with all sorts of things. Rooms had absolutely stunning views. The pool area was quite good - only shame is that it is in the shade in late afternoon.
Rooms (and the lobby areas) are quite dated. That said everything is well maintained etc.
Great location, clean rooms
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a special need for a late checkout. The manager approved us for a very late checkout to accommodate our need
That I had to leave
The Person who work in the hotel are very friendly. I feel like I am in a family
As an international traveler I have never met such a wise & professional & caring Manger like Alex
The pool has been redone very nicely and is clean now. Nice and helpful staff at the entrence and at the reception, comparing with last time's visit.
I miss more international, spec. european channels on TV. There are no german channels and only one French.
Not worth the money. Extremely old and dated. Worn out rooms. We were charged for every little thing. There are much nicer places to stay in close by for much less money.
Lovely hotel. Reception staff excellent. Very comfortable room. Breakfast selection amazing. Enjoyable Shabbat dinner
The staff were very helpful and the location superb .
Friendly and attentive staff. Good location Food good Excellent lifts
Great hotel. Staff wants to make you feel at home and satisfy you.
Unsmiling reception staff Room cleaner importuning for tip
The staff members were all wonderful. The breakfast was great.
This, continues to be a great hotel. We had a larger which was nicely furnished. The staff was friendly and helpful, particularly Adi the concierge and Elliot at the front desk. This hotel rates as a first class experience.
We paid an exorbitant price for the room and they have the nerve of charging for Wi-Fi, even in the lobby. This is being cheap in a hotel where guests deserve more class than this. Ticky tack by the owner. Otherwise a great experience.
1. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. 2. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, lattes & cappuccinos made to order. 3. Although not advertised on the buffet, we were able to get cheese omelets made to order as well. 4. Beds were very comfortable. 5. Quite a few good restaurants within walking distance.
1. Our number one complaint would be the cleanliness of the room & bathroom. It all looked like it needed a good scrubbing. 2. Although the location wasn't bad, I would have like to be closer to the Old City.
Buffet was tasty but staff was not so responsive to cleaning tables and setting up for new diners entering at later times. Location was ideal.
The 13th floor smelled like mold. When I complained about it, I was told that it was because the carpet had just been shampooed. It was later discovered that there was a multiple floor leak which caused the carpet to remain wet throughout our stay. We were not offered a new room. The room did not look like the pictures on the website. In addition to that, I was told by guest services that my breakfast would be complimentary. Upon checkout it had been charged to my room and it took a while to convince the front desk to credit me as the woman in guest services did not give me a breakfast voucher.
Wifi cost and fact that there was no place in the hotel with a free wifi area. Breakfast exorbitant.
excellent position, with easy walking distance of the Mamilla Mall and the old city of Jerusalem. Housekeeping good
Very poorly trained waiting staff. eg ordered tea got cup of boiled water, no saucer etc. Expensive for the type of hotel.
Staff demonstrated poor customer service skills. Reception staff were rude, did not smile, gave misinformation and seemed totally disinterested in meeting the guests needs. They require customer service training. Concierge staff rarely staffed. Room on one Friday not made up until late evening in spite of repeated calls to the front desk. Room cleaner rarely left wash cloths and during a 14 day stay I had to request wash cloths at least 6 times.
Excellent breakfast selection. Desk staff courteous and helpful. Comfortable room
Lack of printed information in the room re hotel facilities, mealtimes, instruction for telephone. Bathroom items not always replaced after room cleaning.
