In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.

Having to leave the hotel.
excellent position, breakfast, lovely and competent staff
Comfortable, warm and inviting. Very good Israeli breakfast. Shabbat dinner was good. Dining room service excellent. Free self park. Near the Old City.
Dated look and feel about the place. We were here 30 years ago and nothing seems to have changed but that was also a good point.
beautiful architecture, lovely rooms, elegant public areas. Steeped in history and has an understated deluxe feel to it - not for the glitz-seekers
the food could always be better at the King David One rude receptionist - a notable exception to a otherwise excellent staff
Beautiful hotel, lots of history in it's name and location. All the staff down to the lowest cleaning crew spoke functional English. The main waiter in the morning dining room Alfred was superior. The shabbat meals where excellent but a bit rushed. And the food not quite hot (just warm). Personally I think it was overpriced compared to the Waldorf or Dan Pamorma. Which are also 5 star and within blocks.
They missed a few things. In the bathroom the floor was not mopped often because I saw small debris (part of a clothing tag) on the floor the whole time I was there. And we had extra bed added for two nights, but when removed hospitality didn't tell front desk. Also the extra bed had a feather pillow and some feather escaped from the case. They stayed on the floor for 3 days. But when I checked out they did comp me all my meals and drinks because of these complaints.
Thank you very, very much. We will remember forever days in your hotel
Our tour guide that the hotel recommended was excellent. All the staff at the hotel were very professional and attentive to anything we needed. The breakfast was amazing.
It would have been nice to have a hot water heater for coffee and an iron & board in the room.
I regard this hotel as Israel's finest and I have stayed in many of the hotel here.
Wonderful location. Very helpful concierge service and tasty food.
Lots of waiters but little organisation and much intrusive chatting. Could do with a revamp of process and personnel...
The room comfort, the view of the old city, the restaurant on the outside terrace, the friendliness and assistance of the staff.
Swimming pool RestaurantS
We always rate the breakfasts, the pool and the sense of history among the best in the world
I felt transported to my childhood when I travelled with my parents to a hotel like the King David where the need of the guests came first. Where luxury was second to none and where the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We can't wait to come back again soon.
We loved the room with a balcony overlooking the Old City! The atmosphere of the hotel is great and it was wonderful being in the public areas. Really enjoy the terrace and garden.
The lighting in the bathroom is too dim and needs to be upgraded. The menu offering and service at the pool restaurant are poor and can be improved.
All the staff is so nice and friendly. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The food is delicious. The rooms are ao comfortable and relaxing.
The staff was very professional at the same time professional. Special mention of mr James in the concierge who has helped me to get out of the country when the airport was closed due to war. He will prove to be an asset to the hotel
The doors of the balcony was not closing properly. I have to struggle to close. It was not user friendly. Room no 310
I travelled with my boyfriend to Jerusalem and spent 1 night at the King David. We had an upgraded room and the hotel was absolutely beautiful. Also...no raised eyebrows etc at a gay couple sharing a bed which was nice!
Very helpful staff. Great view across to old city
No coffee / tea facilities in room. Room service could be better; breakfast required three visits from staff to provide things that were missing; cold milk for tea, butter, ketchup
Great to stay in an Iconic hotel. Everything is top notch.
Everything was good pool area great
The luxury, the cuisine, the history of the hotel, its location and the staff is perfect.
The carpet in our bedroom could have been clean. It would have been better for a 5 stars hotel.
The service, decor, location were outstanding
Lovely hotel with rich history. Breakfast was excellent.
Difficulty using room phone. Tried a number of times to rectify the situation. Was given incorrect information which held up important communication. Lack of concern by staff regarding our situation. Unacceptable.
Wonderful stay. Good location. Very helpful staff.
