Room, food, service, location and cost were very good for a special need we had.

To be a real bargain at a 3-4 star hotel, some niceties must be added -- a real fridgette in the room (not just a small 'cooler', free wi-fi; newer funiture may be too much to ask.

The location of the hotel is rather good. The Reception staff was very kind and friendly.

The food in the restaurant was very poor. And very expensive if you want e.g.to have dinner there ( $45!). The waiters are very slow and lazy. It is very noisy in the rooms at night, I could hardly sleep.

The food was good and the public spaces were attractive. Most of the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was very spacious and on a low floor, as we requested.

The very large drape, on a huge window and doorway to the balcony, was impossible to open and close and we had to request help from the staff each morning and evening...

Near to the Old City and the rest of the City, good bus connections, wonderful view to the Old city. The room was spacy, so you could rest there comfortably between the sightseeing. In the reception there was little information about the traffic connections and walking routes. Breakfeast was in the beginning quite poor, because there were only a few guests, later the variety of food was better, but the coffee was horrible.

The hotel is situated to big main streets, so you couldn't sleep with open window. Therefore the air-condition should function!

The staff at the King Solomon is extraordinary. Everyone is cheerful, friendly, and genuinely interested in being helpful. The breakfasts are delicious, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is central and convenient to the Old City and other interesting spots.

I could live without the perfume in the lobby. I don't remember it from my prior stays, and I wouldn't miss it if it were gone,

Booking.com did not process the reservation and I ended up maing the reservation at the hotel itself (I had a booking number but the hotel never got the reservation from booking.com) I paid $25 dollars cheaper so it worked out

Excellent location. Good value compared to today's 5 star hotels as the hotel was probably built 30 years ago as a 5 star hotel but has aged and has become less expensive in comparison. Enjoyed breakfast buffet. Parking is free but is limited.

Location. Decent, clean room.

The front desk staff was horrid! With the exception of Shari, everyone we encountered there was either non-caring, rude or both. More often than not we had to call for someone to come to the desk as there was no one out front on a regular basis. As my husband is a travel agent he would find it difficult to recommend the hotel for anything other than location and a decent, clean room. My husband walks with a cane and only one doorman, whose name unfortunately I can't recall, ever bothered to open the door for him. Overall our experience was less than satisfactory.

The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff was always extremely helpful, always answering all of our questions and requests for assistance. The breakfasts were very tasty and plentiful.
