Score from 534 reviews Very good
Location, inexpensive, friendly staff, comfortable, compact room. Satellite tv and wifi.
Small room. No ambiance. Can get noisy at night.
Location is great. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. She helped me a lot and gave me many good advices. She is knowledgeable in many aspects. My trip in Israel could not be so wonderful without her.
Good location, only a short walk (15-20min) to the Old City or bus/train station, but located right in the city centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was ok, had pretty much everything one needs.
The personel was very kind. The location is great, near to te holy place.
The hotel does't have elevator, and is tough when you have a big luggage
The location was great - had a wonderful "homey" feel. Room was comfortable, clean, Daniella was a doll. Shared fridge in lobby was fine - I had been a little nervous about that.
The location of the hotel is great and the staff were very friendly.
The bathroom is very very small but overall everything was good.
Staff at the Perle Hotel is the best there is. They are super friendly, helpful, and very capable. I took a trip to other city and needed to leave my luggage somewhere, without askind they offered to keep my luggage safe until my return to Jerusalem. Daniela and Nico, thanks! Definetively, they make your stay a lot better. The location of the Hotel is also great, 7 minutes walk to the old city, near to a lot of places to eat, few bars around, tram station is close, too. The rooms are nice and tidy, and the bed confortable. You won't regret staying here.
La Perle is located right off Ben Yehuda street, which is the heart of the city and it's nightlife, and is just a 20 minute walk to the Old City, which is the primary tourist destination here. As such, the location was excellent. I also really liked that the rooms were "American-style" and not Israeli style. Clean, fresh, and modern looking.
The room had no window. Technically, it did, but the window faced the hallway, not the outdoors, so I had no sunlight and no way to see what the weather was, etc. As I was staying here five days, which is a long stay, I thought giving me a windowless room was a little unfair. If booking here, be sure to specify in advance you want a window. Other than that, everything was great.
Good location, nice perconal, stable wi-fi
I've stayed at La Perle twice and really enjoyed everything about it. I had a room with a balcony which put me right in the midst of Jerusalem life, especially when Ben Jehuda street comes alive at the end of Shabbat. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Jerusalem.
There was nothing to dislike.
The common areas are marginal. But the room was great. A shared terrace, adequate a/c, so-so wifi, and very quiet. The location is ideal. 10-15 minute walk to the Old City, in a lively part of town but on a side street with little noise.
Excellent location if you're an independent traveller, in the centre of W Jerusalem, lots of reasonably priced eateries close by, cafe next door does a good breakfast, main food market Mahane Yehuda only 10min walk away. Old City is also a10min walk away and there are lots of buses and the tram close by which will take you anywhere in the city. You can get a sherut to the airport from just around the corner. The hotel is clean, comfortable and relaxed and the staff are always helpful.
I loved my stay at La Perle. Everyone was so nice and friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and the bathroom was spotless. The room was so comfortable and the location was just great. Everything was just perfect!!!! I would definitely love to stay at La Perle again and hope to one day. It was the perfect place to stay in Jerusalem.
Very central, can walk to old city 15min, markets, restaurants. Air con excellent. Quiet as Street is pedestrian only Clean Fridge in reception you can use to store food and cold drinks
Bathroom is small - but functional
I loved this little hotel. Ben Yehudah st is my favourite area to stay - it is the centre of new Jerusalem, surrounded by shops. The old city is 10 to 15 minutes walk away. Its near the light rail. My room had a little balcony and natural light.
Nothing but be warned there are stairs and no breakfast.
Nicolai was so helpful and considerate. You have a gem there!!
I found that some of the clothes in our cupboard were damp probably from condensation from hot showers.
Staff was very helpful - they called to ask if our arrival had gone well and gave all kinds of tips for exploring the city. Location is great, very central - and at the same time, the neighbourhood is quiet at night. Lots of breakfast opportunities close to the hotel.
It's not really a 'boutique hotel'. The rooms are not as nice as the photos suggest. They are fine, however - just don't expect great decor.
Cleanliness and location.
Comfort. The curtain is short and at 6.00-6.30 in the morning sun rays go directly on the pillow: impossible to stay with the eyes closed. The sink in the bath room is too small: I was unable to wash my face without dropping water on the floor.
everything is very good!
The Hotel is close to the tramway station, the old city, with restaurants and 2 supermarkets in the surrounding, with direct access to Yad Vashem by tramway, within 20 minutes walking distance to Museum Israel & the Knesset, 2 minutes away from a Sherut station for Tel Aviv. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is comfortable, and fairly priced.
Everything was just perfect. Személyzet kedves, segítőkész, tele mindig jó ötletekkel, - ajánlatokkal. Hotel elhelyezkedése tökéletes.
The staff is very professional and helpful.
The carpet in the room needs to be changed, more silent/ new doors would be a plus. All in all I can recommend the hotel and I would stay there again.
The location is great, and Ilya at the reception was very helpful...
the room was substandard (even for Jerusalem)
Location was excellent! The room was bigger than I expected. The staff was helpful.
The sink and sink shelf in the bathroom could use more space. The place can be renovated a bit and better decorated
I had read many reviews of this hotel before booking it, and I found out that the descriptions matched what I found, and my room looked exactly like the pictures I had seen. I LOVED the central location, the staff (thank you so much Daniela and Ilia for making it feel like home), the super clean bathroom, and the cozy and cute bedroom. I also liked the price! This hotel costs half of most hotels I saw in Jerusalem. All in all, thanks to La Pearl for making my stay in Jerusalem so amazing! I would definitely stay here next time I visit the city.
No phone in the bedroom. No minibar in the bedroom, but there's a fridge downstairs in the reception area, and coffee and tea available too. No breakfast, but I already knew that in advance so it wasn't really a problem.
