Everything is old there
Location, sea view.
Expensive, WiFi is very slow.
smelling and dirty/old room
The lifts The room
The electronic door lock. The buffet Friday Ever ning meal. A served meal would be preferable on Sabbath.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Leonardo and have always been happy here. The food is especially good and so s the room. However this time we had an unpleasant experience.
When we came to pay my mother, 80 years old and frail, had lost the blue paper from immigration. Miri Capon, responsible for the well being of the guests, told her that she would not be allowed to leave the country without it. My mother was terribly upset and Miri sat there with no display of emotion whatsoever. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to acknowledge her tourist status and charged her as an Israeli!
Good location and very nice view.... I had one family room with two bed rooms . I think it is a must to have two bath rooms in the flat rented , # is 1258 for a family consist of 4 adults and two children!!!
One bathroom in the room is not enough for a family consist of 4 adults and 2 children !! Very crowded !!
Right by the beach Breakfasts great Nice room Gave free internet even though supposed to charge
Reception staff not friendly Many room service items unavailable
So happy that we got upgraded! Thank you!
The good was cold and seemed to be old from the day before
Spacious suite - we had a seating room with 2 bedrooms + kitchen. Bed linen was of good quality. Nice breakfast. Near to sea + nice shore.
Power outs in our suite. The kitchen was not equipped at all except a fridge and a kettle. No dishes, no forks or spoons. Shower head doesn't work. The pool is small, a background music was very noisy and heavy. Entertainment plan was not followed at all. My children tried twice to participate in shops and competitions and found nothing in the club. Only 4 elevators for the 20 floors building.
Close to the beach, great location for families, but a bit out of town for going exploring. Nice big rooms.
Bit run down and tired.
Staff was very friendly Breakfast was good
Desk @ the lobby - long lines (even just to checkout) Elevators - very slow, one wasn't working...
The staff haven't given us any respect and we paid for the best rooms and got cheated by getting the lower once
* Location * Room * Staff
* Beach facilities and overall comfort (no indoor showers, no snack shops, no sun beds or umbrellas) * Underground parking -- looks like post-nuclear war decoration * Odour in corridors and around hotel -- looks like an infrastructure problem
We had the royal suite, perfect for a family with two bedrooms, a living room, and a gorgeous balcony view! Clean, comfortable , good breakfast, and easy access to the beach.
Only issues were: One, it is hard to find the way into the hotel off the highway . Two, they made me leave my passport in order to take towels to the beach. When we got back, they had left my passport laying out on a chair- very scary!
Facilities, pool, the hotel is a bit run down
Pleasant, helpful staff; good location; received room upgrade because a better room was available.
dining room/food cleanliness could be improved.
Excellent beach location
You have to pay for wifi
Very helpful and nice staff. Customer service lady was specially nice and helpful. We got an average size room on a high floor. View to the beach was amazing! Hotel also provides underground parking.
Small swimming pool. In general, hotel is little outdated (bathroom faucets, furniture). Hotel does not provide umbrellas and chairs on the beach in front of the hotel. There was not much variety of food during breakfast. Usually when booking a room via this site we get an upgrade, but we did not this time.
location was near the beach
The staff were rude, unhelpful and the worst was that the towel man tried to hug me in front of my room. He also tried to enter my friend's room when she had the do not disturb sign on. The management did not change my room or do anything to make me feel comfortable. No help with tourist things. The worst part of my Israel holiday by far!!! All other hotels were so lovely. This was horrible experience for me and my friends.
The Breakfast was fantastic and it was very clean.
Did not like that we didn't have internet at all times. I was told I would have to change my email address to get an extra half an hour. No internet in rooms. VERY ANNOYING! ALSO POOL WAS NOT OPEN LATE AND HOT TUB WAS NOT WORKING.
Very nice and helpful team, good food, comfortable beds. They had a tour in Haifa organized by the hotel. Close to the beach
A little far from the city, a car is needed. Some of the rooms are a little old
Awesome breakfast like nowhere else Great location by the beach Friendly and responsive staff
Easy access to Matam, staff very kind, good comfort level
No internet access except in the business lounge Poor choice of international TV channels
The location, across the road from the beach and easy access to the highway, was fantastic. The staff bent over backwards to help. The breakfast and dinner were delicious with an amazingly varied menu, not easy over the passover holiday. The rooms were airy and spacious with lovely views of the sea. Outstanding value for money.
I was unable to hook up to the internet and was unhappy about having to pay for the privilege.
Nice location if you go there for a non-business trip
I expect hotels to provide WiFi free of charge these days. The hotel is good, but it shows its age (furniture, carpets etc)
