Legacy Hotel    

Breakfast room and breakfast itself was the best we had during our trip to Israel. The hotel is located n neighborhood to the US consulate so the area is safe notwithstanding dirty surroundings. The fruit basket on arrival was really nice.

The room is very small. Someone might not like the dirty area. But it takes 5 minutes walking to old city and about 15 minutes to the city centre.

It is very conveniently located for the old city. Good restaurant, pleasant atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable, clean rooms. All I all a very pleasant place to stay in Jerusalem. Tip: Book the balcony rooms.

some rooms are pretty small - with especially small bathroom but still keeping a certain comfort level.

We liked the location close to Damaskus gate - the breakfast was fantastic - the staff was very helpful - there was free parking - the room had a balcony, which we enjoyed a lot.

Very well located in the Arab part of Jerusalem (which is why it is necessary for the liquor store in the Jewish part, but in the restaurant - everything is there.) The Old Town is 5 minutes, there are rooms on the east part of the Arab - with balconies where you can smoke, and to the west by the Jewish part and the old town but no balcony. Adjacent to the U.S. consulate (in Jerusalem are two of them, is the fact that the Arabic). Parking is free, but most do not find the staff will show after registration. Fine cuisine from morning until late evening

free wi-fi, very rare in Israel, and it is very expensive everywhere: $100 per week! Clean room, very good breakfast, good location just 7-10 min on foot to the old city. Comfortable bed and blankets like clouds)) great city view from the restaurant. Good restaurant and bar at the first floor: nice pasta and wine, good value for money. Free parking space. We've checked out at 12 and left a car at the parking till 18. Big plate with fruits at the room. Great towels. Friendly staff.

The view of the hotel from the back: like prison. Hard to find driving the car. Jerusalem is not for rest it is like Istanbul: be careful with you money at the market! Dirty like everywhere in Middle East((

The staff was very proffessional and acomodating. The rooms were clean and very well equiped. The room was very luxureous. Free parking was very good if somewhat hard to find by yourself. The food was very good too. The location too was very good. Very close to the old city.

Great location, friendly staff. For those who are not looking for kosher this is a good option braise the hotel is Arabic, so you will have everything for the breakfast, i.e. both meat and milk.

accessibility not the best, those who travel with babies or wheelchairs have to take it in mind.

Hotel staff was very attentive, we found the rooms comfortable and very clean. Internet was free (but spotty). Breakfast was delightful! Really lovely selection of fresh foods from the region combined with traditional European style breakfast. Location was excellent for us, easy walking distance to the Old City.

Spotty internet, and the indoor pool (we have children so I booked the hotel because it had an indoor pool) is part of the ymca, so only available to guests on a specific schedule, with specific times for men, women, and children. Not so convenient.

In a few words - very nice, luxury hotel with excellent service levels, in a strategic location near the Old City.

Well maintained hotel, friendly and supportive staff. Comfortable beds (enjoyable to spend the late evening lazing around in bed after long walks in the city); pleasant terrace bar with affordable drinks and pleasant atmosphere. Easy and safe 5 min walk to Old City (Damaskus Gate). 3 min walk to tram (eg. 8 stations to central bus station).

1. Our room was spacious enough to put in another bed for our tall son. 2. The staff were always helpful and recommended other excellent restaurants for us to choose from instead of their very good rest. on the 5th floor. 3. The breakfasts were amazing: delicious, fresh, diversified and excellent capaccinos in a room surrounded by breathtaking scenery. 4. The proximity to the old city, so close, just a five minute interesting walk. 5. Happy hour. So nice to come back to the hotel after sightseeing all day and have a comfy seat in the lobby or terrace with a cold glass of wine and read the Herald Tribune, especially the Israeli section.

They should have (and I suggested) a directory in the room with easy map, location, best places to visit, etc.

Perfectly located in very close proximity of the Old City's Damascus Gate. The room (actually an apartment comprising of a living room with kitchenette, bedroom and spatious bathroom) was very well equipped with modern furniture, appliances and utilities. Restaurant has a splendid panoramic view of the city, great food selection and very elegant setting. Great value for the cost of the room! We plan to return and spend more days there next time.

The staff was incredibly helpful. Our room was really large and lovely. We liked it so much that when we came back to Jerusalem we stayed there a second time. The restaurant is lovely and the food is very good. It is located in East Jerusalem right near the Damascus Gate so it is easy to go to the Old City.

The A/C could have been a little better. Also the swim times are a bit limited and men and women can not swim together.

The hotel is centrally located and close to a stop on the Jerusalem Light Railway, but it was still in a relatively quiet spot.
