In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.
Score from 1359 reviews Good
Providing free parking and offering views of the mountains, the Hotel Yehuda provides rooms with free Wi-Fi and a pool area with a semi-Olympic sized pool. An Israeli buffet breakfast is included.
Score from 522 reviews Very good

Cost, location and it's clean
I ask for a queen size bed and got two tweens attached which end up sleeping on one any way.
staff, cleanliness, meals, location
appreciate the free Wifi but it was very slow.
On the morning of 18 Oct 2014, I delivered my laundry to the front desk to Sofian, the hotel staff. The laundry includes two suits, two scarfs and a shirt. But in the evening, when I come to pick up my laundry, I was only returned with one shirt, one suit and one scarf. In this way, a suit and a scarf are missing. I have repeatedly talked to the front desk about my lost laundry in the last three days. But after three days, my lost laundry are still not found. I was promised to have an answer by the manager Rami, but so far I am still waiting. I was told by the front desk Sarah this evening at 19:40 that the house keeping supervisor will come to talk me about it in a few minutes. But after I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes, the supervisor was still no show.
Friendly staff and clean, spacious rooms
Location Swimming pool
Early closing of swimming pool (5PM) Early closing of bar (10 PM) No outside relaxing area except swimming pool.
the way food was handled .
Location and service were very important factor.
WARNING - Not able to make the holiday, in spite of timeous cancelation I had to pay for the entire stay. Granted that was a condition. I am still awaiting an invoice. Monies were quick to be withdrawn from my account but still no communication. It's over a month now!
situation wireless access free phone calls good choice at breakfast
poor housekeeping - dirty bed linen torn bed linen took ages for curtain rail to be fixed air conditioner only one setting
A good location - the hotel is a short walk from the Damascus gate and only a lightly longer walk (20 minutes) from Jaffa gate. A nice pool area The usual huge Israeli breakfast Really helpful staff
The rooms could have been cleaner The corridors were a little gloomy and it would be nice if they were as bright and clean as the reception and dining areas
Value for money close to railway
very basic Not many staff could speak English, even those that were assigned to order cabs! Limited food options.
Plenty to choose from at breakfast. Nice pool. Situated very close to the Jerusalem Tram/train meaning it is only minutes to the Old City and main shopping area.
vicinity to old city
Location was great and staff very helpfull especially a j
Management care Staff's service level Confirtable and nice hotel
Loved the wonderful Breakfast spread. Delicious selection of foods and staff all very helpful in the restaurant. Swimming pool well looked after. Location close to the new Light Railway very convenient.
Staff on the front desk tried to be helpful but their English not too good and couldn't give us many answers.
We only liked two people on the staff: Sofian and Ohad.
Nice pool Friendly staff
Lack of fruit at breakfast. Irritating to only get an hour of wifi at a time.
The staff. The food. The location.
Limiting wi fi to an hour at time but giving extra hours. Why? Pool starting to look tired but still very relaxing
The breakfast was very good.
The infrastructure/furnishing are poor and not maintained.. Very shabby! The service is very bad... Twice we called Guest services and there was no reply due to Understaffing. We had to use our cellphone to get any response. Hotel policy was clearly not designed to give service but to give as little as possible to help the profit line. The hotel was grossly understaffed and their uniforms seemed cheap and shabby. I pity the staff who have to make do in these conditions. This hotel should not have more than 3 stars.
the breakfast was fantastic
having to pay for internet
Near to the old city
Rush in the dining room, could have been open a little later
Comfortable room, courteous and accommodating staff, several elevators, nice, spacious lobby.
Wi-Fi policy was confusing.
Staff at breakfast were to quick to clear plates, many times when going for food returning to table everything cleared even unfinished breakfast and coffee.
Very close to train stop & Damascus Gate entry to Old City, as well as ultra-orthodox area of Mea Shaarim. Short walk to Mamilla, Ben Yehuda Street & the Western Wall.
I thought breakfast buffet was included & it was not. Breakfast was expensive at nearly $20 per person.
