In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.
Score from 1323 reviews Good
Offering a 24-hour front desk, Jerusalem Castle Hotel is located in Jerusalem. The property is 1 km from Mamilla Mall where you will find many restaurants, shops and cafes.

The Little House is a hotel in Jerusalem's central Bakah district. Featuring a charming garden with a sitting area, it is just a 10-minute walk from the Sherover Promenade that offers panoramic views...

In central Jerusalem, just a 5-minute walk from the Mahane Yehuda Market, the newly-opened Agripas Hotel offers spacious rooms with hardwood floors and city views.
Score from 845 reviews Very good
Checkout was during shabbat - otherwise you need to pay another $25 per room. It was written in the booking - but the staff didn't bother alerting us to it.
Good room, cosy mattress, nice neighbor streets.
No parking. Free parking street in 3 blocks. Fungus on bathroom walls.
Fairly cheap, good position. Helpful staff
Room cold, small, no hot water at all in the evening. Flight of steps to enter building and no assistance with cases. Dining room shabby, breakfast disappointing
Located in an upscale residential neighborhood / pleasant walking to the First Station compound and to the Tayelet Haas Promenade in Jerusalem.
could hear everything behind the door , poor soundproof. price is high , would expect more for that price. breakfast in the area that you wouldn't like to sit and drink coffee there. coffee is dreadful .
The location of The Colony was as good as it gets if you like the Emek Rifaim neighborhood. We would return to the same place, but surely ask for a different room.
The low ceiling of our top-floor room made moving about challenging. In fact, I affectionately referred to our place as the Shire (of Hobbit fame), when I wasn't crying out after hitting my head on the way to the bathroom or out the door.
noice from the cinima
It was comfortable, good breakfast, great location, good service
It is clean and cheap prize, pretty central i Jerusalem
Some rooms have problems with the heating and it was way too cold. The breakfast is not that good And the staff not really helpful when the problems were presented to them.
Location both for old city and nearby restaurants, pubs. In a very nice area
Room cvery small. No windows
Great German Colony location. Authentic Israeli breakfast buffet was home made daily. Staff very helpful.
Be aware that there is no elevator. Guests must walk up between 1-3 flights of stairs (there is one guest room on the ground floor).
We traveled to Jerusalem with my husband's 87 year old father. The hotel staff was very accommodating and arranged for us to stay in a double room (literally), we were together but also had our privacy, which was good for grandpa. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. There is a restaurant next door which made it nice for my father-in-law, who is unable to walk long distances. Also the famous Emek Refaim street is a block away. Reasonably priced, this was a great place to stay. We will stay again on our next visit and highly recommend Little House.
Helpful staff, breakfast included, Shabbos friendly (they helped us to organise a Friday night meal for ourselves and provided candles too). Also one of the increasingly rare places still providing a computer for use of those who don't have smartphones.
Room was a little cold in the first week of November.
The colonial style of the hotel is pleasing and the updating has not damaged that. I liked the cleanliness of the rooms and the staff in the main are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were filling although very samey. But Joseph the cook made up for that. He had a very pleasant character.
Unfortunatel there is a cafe and cinema next to the hotel and my room seemed to be over the top which disturbed my sleep until around 11.30pm. The hotel have contacted them when complaints have been made but they really have no control over the level of noise.
The old city of Jerusalem was very hectic when we visited during Sukkot. The "Little House" is in a beautiful old neighborhood on a quiet side street, near the renovated first train station (with its biking and jogging trail). Staff was very helpful.
Able to fit 5 people in room Staff pleasant
Attic room with low beams
Hotel is very good and it was very good experience for us. Close to this hotel is lots of restaurants and shops so there is no problem to take a diner or supper. I can recommend it.
Very bad parking in this vicinity.
Cleanliness, room service, Hotel location. Tea and coffee service in the breakfast room even outside of breakfast hours.
In the German colony we had happy about a German newspaper or a German television.
Very tired and shabby. It was like being stuck in a 70's time warp. The decor is dismal the breakfast meagre and the whole place is in urgent need of refurbishment.
We heard everything that was going on in the other rooms. Hearing the other doors being locked and unlocked was especially irritating. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights, but left after 1 night, and were charged a cancellation fee. I hope that booking.com can refund our money.
Very cute place in a great location near a lot of spots both modern and old city with a great breakfast and cute room.
Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant
Breakfast was sparse. Only 1 hot choice. Only 1 fruit each day.
Staff, clean and wifi
liked the location and the bathroom. fair and nice for a short stay in jerusalem
Friendly and helpful staff, good location, walking distance from the old city, free parking places are available in the area, nice breakfast
The cinema located next door can be noisy sometimes, but it wasn't a big deal for us. Keep it in mind if you travel with kids.
. Silence place; good bed; clean; standard breakfast for their culture, but good enough; standard check in and check out; friendly receptionists.
Little House booked for me and my dad, 75 years old, a Shuttle to Tel Aviv airport from KOSTA company and the driver where the worse man I have ever met in my life, rude e sure he is a xenophobic old and horrible man! DON´T ACCEPT LITTLE HOUSE To BOOK A SHUTTTLE FROM Kosta company. (the Van number 5753, Van registry no. 9850225). Unfortynatdly I do not have the name of this rude driver! My dad was shocked without understand a word of him! I gave my dad this trip in Israel as a birthday present. Our last day, bad impressions of Jerusalen!! Pity!!! Never I will be back! Early in the morning, at our time my dad and I where waiting for the shuttle. He sttoped and a very rude way asked us to get in. The door of his Shuttle did not fully openned because stucked (bad function). I understood he asked to push it, I just touched the door and then, this old , horrible, mad driver began to shout (yell) at us. I yelled back at him and he did not seem to be bodered. I sad I would complain of him at his company and he said , do what you want! Shocked and Worried to lose my plain in Tel Aviv I complainned but went in his Van. During the way he was complainning and mouning all the time about the traffic. It took us nearly 2 hours to get the aiport from Jerusalen. He is a mad man!! Disgusting! But I will complain everyone in Israel I can... I will send a formal complain to Ministry of Tourism about xenofobic treatment we have got from this old , ugly and stupid man. He should be in a mental hospital! Not driving! He is a dangerous for us turist!
