personeel. locatie. echt een mooi hotel!

Erg mooi gestyled hotel, vriendelijke ontvanst, professioneel geholpen bij het inchecken. (De meneer die ons naar de kamer wees was te zeer ingenomen met de schoonheid van het hotel....ietwat bescheidener mocht wel) Mooie sobere luxe kamer met veel glas, gelakte kasten en staal terwijl het toch warm en fijn aanvoelt.Een mooie glazen badkamer geïntegreerd in de kamer die desgewenst van transparant glas naar "melkglas" kon worden getransformeerd voor meer privacy mits je dat wil als je met zijn tweeën bent. Fijn bed, grote badlakens en genoeg plaats in de kledingkast waren items die gewoon lijken maar niet elk hotel biedt....hier was het perfect. Ontbijt was vol van keuze, mooi gepresenteerd en lekker . Kan het in de grote ontbijtzaal nuttigen of desgewenst op het aanpalende mooie, rustig aandoende terras. Natuurlijk hebben we de recensies van dit hotel gelezen en ik kon mij niet aansluiten bij de gegeven negatieve commentaar, au contraire. Een mooi verblijf gehad.

Wifi is niet gratis, onbegrijpelijk voor zo'n hotel. Zou standaard moeten zijn daar bijna alle hotels dit gratis aanbieden. Valet parking service was goed....(natuurlijk houden ze de deur van je auto niet open als je wil in of uit stappen...die tijden zijn voorbij, mits je een moviestar bent in Nice tijdens het filmfestival!)geen gezoek naar parkeerplaats in de buurt....gewoon het hotel uit stappen met je bagage en even later wordt je auto voorgereden uit het erg drukke verkeer. Hoef je niet met je koffers te zeulen tot waar je auto geparkeerd staat.

The Mamilla is a beautiful hotel with extraordinary architecture and facilities. You can't beat it for it's design, visual interest and location, location, location. Imagine looking out your window to a view of the old city. At night it is golden and you feel as if you were in movie and it's a set. The rooms are interestingly designed and made use of somewhat small spaces. Food was fantastic, the breakfast was a feast! Truly, the hotel is a feast for your eyes and aesthetics.

O.k., so they need to fix the shower issue. The bathroom looks gorgeous but the shower has no door. There's a drain on the floor that is intended to capture the water from the shower but it doesn't work. Instead the water flows all over the floor. I asked about it and was told they were attempting to fix it in some way -- not sure how. Also, the lights in the room. Very dramatic but difficult to get the hang of them and there needs to be more light in the room because you really can't read in the room. Upgrade to a suite if you can because the regular room is a bit small. And eat in the cafe rather than the restaurant. The rooftop restaurant has a gorgeous view but it is super expensive. The hotel has quirks so if you are easily irritated by small things, this isn't the place to stay. I was able to overlook them all and stay very zen about the experience. It's a gorgeous place in an absolutely fabulous location

definately did not like the food. that is the reason that i dont want to stay there any more. i expect a much more traditional menue for friday night.

The staff very cordial and helpful. Excellent location : 2 minutes for the old city.

The linen has been spotted by me,and not changed. I put a towel to cover the spot. The mad took the towel away, and did not change the linen!

Breakfast

No free wifi in room

You shoul inform that your spa is outiside the hotel... You have to criss the lobby with anadia cross the bridge outiside in a cold day after a massage with your body got and no one to tell u or open the foro... It is ridiculous to stay in a such good and modern hotel with this inconvenience, at least inform that is outiside and not in the hotel...i got a cold aftethis terrível experience.

Spa outiside the hotel and not be informed ...... Such great hotel should have private entrance or for one floor to another and not cross the lobby and go outiside... Big mistake!

Design Breakfast Location Staff

Price - expensive

The hotel was very nicely designed and comfortable. Our room was quiet. The selections of food at breakfast was outstanding.

Our only complaint was that the concierge failed to make a dinner reservation for us even after she called us to confirm that she would do so.

Location

There is no correlation between the price of $430 incl taxes and what we got. Service was poor and unfriendly (maybe because the reservation was not made directly?). The hotel was understaffed for the weekend. During check out we were informed that parking is not included (it is a secret, not written in the reservation/ in the parking lot/ in the room) and the receptionist forgot to give us the pass to leave the building. We had to park again and return to the reception to get the pass. The rooms are too small and no one ever gave a thought about their functionality. The lay out of the bathroom is a disaster! The rooms would fit as single rooms but for a couple, they are nearly impossible. In general, the hotel is too dark all around, the elevators services is bad, the room doors do not provide noise insulation and open towards the corridor and are therefore dangerous, the intercom from the parking is not answered promptly and the list goes on. I would definitely not go back.

Amazing building, super modern facility, just steps from the old city. Attached luxury shops made gift getting real easy. Valet parking was super cheap relative to any other hotel around the world. Staff was very friendly and always willing to help.

The beds were too hard for our enjoyment, the sound system on the tv didn't work (on low volume it would only play through speakers in the bathroom), and WiFi is not included in your room rate but charged hourly at 30 nis per hour.It took us 4 attempts to get a crib for our daughter on the first day.

Really nice design-hotel. The bed was sooo comfortable!

The hotel is quite new and has a very interesting design. Not too many people - calm and quiet. Location is excellent.

Generally, everything was very good. The hotel staff could be better in such a hotel - very often they just pretend to be helpful. Also it is expensive, but hotels in Israel are expensive in general.
