Difficult to find the entrance. Hotel looks outside like a prison, scary and abandoned. Curtains too light in the room, can’t sleep as it feels like during the day. I had booked and paid for a room with a bathtub, got a room with a shower instead. Lots of breakfast choices but food tastes nothing. If you want decent and good Israeli food, book a small boutique hotel. Wifi doesn’t work, complicated to use and you can only use it on one device. It’s very bad if you have a computer, a tablet and a phone. Breakfast staff took people's plates before they could finish eating, not good and made you feel like they didn't want you there, not to mention the angry and tired looks they give you for no reason. Reception staff can't speak or understand proper English. Some of the staff was also saying bad things about the guests in Hebrew when they mistakenly thought that there was no one around who could understand what they were saying. Elevator floor broken, didn't feel safe. Pool is tiny, dirty and overcrowded. Too many kids, no place to swim and shallow water plus birds flying around and drinking from the pool (doesn't feel so clean). Even grown-ups using the pool were acting stupid, no one listens or respects the other guests. Lifeguards sitting on the phone all day with their friends and don't pay attention to swimmers. Pool staff too slow and ignore you a long time before taking your order. Also, at one time there were 5 people of the staff at the bar and none of them knew how to mix drinks or how to serve you, that’s totally unacceptable. Guests were also too loud, yelling in the hallway during the night. Overall, most of the staff made me feel not welcome with their strange approach, behavior and questions so I checked out long before my time was due, just felt I wanted to get away from that awful place. It’s the worst experience with hotels I have ever had and the first time I had to write a negative review.
Cleaning was good and cleaning staff friendly. Rooms were big, fresh looking and modern. Outside view was really nice from the rooftop terrace. Also, view during the breakfast was beautiful when you sit by the windows. Sunbeds at the terrace were really comfortable and food served at the rooftop bar was delicious. One of the rooftop bar staff, Yazan, was basically the only person in that hotel who seemed to know what he was doing, how to be nice to guests and what professional service really means. If this hotel would make sure to hire more staff like him, it would be a great hotel for your stay.
