Fabulous breakfast, with great variety. It was possible to eat delicious AND healthy there. The bed was possibly the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Location was great for getting places by walking, including the beach. The lobby and rooms had an open feeling, which belied the small space the hotel was in.
Switches for the lights didn't work reliably, and the print size of the labels on them were too small for many people to read. The rooms had different configurations, probably because they retrofit an old building. Some aspects were inconvenient like a really narrow space between the end of the bed and the wall, or a bathroom without a door you could close to block the light if one person was washing up. Also, there's not much of a view from many of the rooms.
This kind of a huge buffet for breakfast I havn't seen before! It was amazing!
There is hardly any parking option in tlv. The parking from the hotel was about 7min walking distance to the hotel
A nice hotel in a good spot. The personel overall very friedly and helpful. Great breakfast, and really nice to avoid the crowded ones from the bigger hotels/chains!
The room was really small, but we didn't suffer from it.
The breakfast was amazing
The room are really nice but a bit small
Incredible stay. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Shlomi who made us feel instantly like we were greeted by family. He anticipated all our needs. When he noticed we left our hotel a little late, he called the restaurant to push our reservation. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast was really delicious. Fresh fruits, vege, warm spread, and lots more.
The staff is very polite, nice breakfast, very clean.
The only thing I'd like to have is Russian Channel 24 and 1.

rooms a Little bit small, but o.k. for one it´s not easy to open the window
No views in the room
The staff were excellent. The hotel is new and modern, and the location is excellent by beach and shops
Israel is expensive but it is overpriced as there are no facilities
Great breakfast, excellent location
Small room with barely a window. ...Hot cables
This was my first time in a boutique hotel in Tel Aviv. I was so pleased by the whole experience , everything was great, the room, staff , the astounding breakfast and small touch like a breakfast for a very early departure
Just note that the rooms are pretty small. But unless you plan on spending lots of time in the room, this isn't a big deal.
Style, location and amazing breakfast
Standard rooms are small but very functional
Everything was top-of-the-line...cotton sheets, bathrobes, cosmetics, excellent breakfast, flat screen TV. The design is superb...sinks, glass showers, lighting. The culture is like "Cheers" - the staff are your newest best friends - very helpful. Overall, more than excellent value for money!
The standard room is small. The Wi-Fi is complicated - alerts because of certificate problem. Restaurant is not yet open except for breakfast - we were told this will change.
Great location 2 mins from beach and near lots of cafes and restaurants . Recently refurbished to very high standard and very stylish from the building facade troom detail . Breakfast is excellent with so much to chose from and great cappuccinos . Rain shower and Dead Sea products great . Very comfortable bed , quiet location so good sleep
Room fridge vending type so can't store own drinks , standard room fine for 1 person , bit tight for 2 , deluxe room fab !
great atmosphere, very clean and all around beautiful design. breakfast was rich and tasty. coffee machine in the room was nice..
bathtub was pretty small.. that's about it..
Moderness Neatness Cleanliness exceptional Courteous and Friendly staff Service of high standard Value for money Highly recommended compared to other hotels in Tel Aviv
Seafront would have been first price. Rooms are a little bit on the small side
I liked everything.
I had to leave the hotel.
The staff was very welcoming And attentive , Ehud at the reception was extremely helpful and very professional !
We spent two nights at the Mendeli Street Hotel in mid October. It was perfect! The location was central, a couple of minutes walk to the beach, to bicycle rentals, and within walking or cycling distance of everything we wanted to visit. The breakfasts were awesome, probably the best we had in two weeks of travel in Israel. We booked the standard room but at checkin we were advised that we had been upgraded by two categories. Out room was spacious and lovely; I did not see a standard sized room but other reviewers have said they are very small so I appreciated the upgrade. The staff at both the front desk and breakfast buffet were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Mendeli and would certainly stay there again if I ever am fortunate enough to return to Tel Aviv.
I was unable to connect my IPad to their Internet but it certainly was not for lack of time and attention of the front desk staff trying to resolve the problem. Perhaps an IOS update issue!
