Location of the hotel
No helping me with a parking place for my car
I liked the newly refurbished room. Also general improvements to decor and new lifts. Staff were very helpful.
Staff was perfect and rooms comfortable
Location, breakfast, clean
the gym was 20 years old, the pool was small and old, breakfast was only till 10
Location Bed comfort Quietness of room at night Aircon
Being woken by housekeeping several times a morning, including on day of check out Unhelpfulness of porters and front desk staff Tiredness of interiors and pool Marks and poor plastering of 'newly refurbished' room Faint smell of urine from bathroom at all times Shower rail falling on me during shower Bathroom door not closing
The view to the sea (if your room has such view).
- Asked to pay the whole bill in advance at check-in. - The parking inside the hotel is very bad for your health. In fact it is not a parking but a basement (with very few spaces to park) in which the air conditions are blowing dust and hot air. The air is so bad that you might loose consciousness while trying to get in/out to/of your car.
I love the location to the beach and Jaffa and the board walk. I had a lovely time especially the early morning swim in the sea. The hotel room was cute well decorated despite being small. Once inside the room at night there was no disturbance from outside noise. The shower was small and difficult to get a shower at times;especially if your tall or portly. Their breakfast menue was great but supper was tooo expensive.
As stated above the shower was too small and difficult to manoeuvres around at times. The supper meals were very pricey.
The staff were happy and friendly always tried to help where possible. The location was excellent and the breakfast was fabulous
Pool area in shade after 1500hrs and bar area very small
Rooms were very clean and tidy. Excellent cleaning service. Very good breakfast. Good location, 1 block away from the beach.
There was a bit of chaos at checkin and they could not find my reservation. Rooms are not very spacious.
The bed and distance to the beach were fine.
This is on a side street and the directions make the hotel hard to find unless you know the side streets.
Breakfast. Quiet. Clean. Good location.
Nothing really. Would stay again next time.
It is close to the beach and to the main streets of Tel Aviv. Clean and comfortable.
My room was in a lower floor and in the morning it was pretty noisy.
Staff was courteous, food was good
We like the atmosphere of the hotel: modern, friendly. and also the fresh and good choice of salads and other food foor breakfast. The pool aera is getting better something we'll appreciate. But the terrace of the centrally located hotel is wonderful to relax. The renovated rooms are nice and clean, the beds are comfortable.
Wi-Fi. Internet access is not stable. Low capacity.
I always stay here when I'm in Israel's commercial capital. Great staff and location; I always feel welcome, and it's a terrific place to work out of.
The showers in the studio apartments are microscopic. It's like they were designed by the creators of Derek Zoolander's School for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Want to Do Other Stuff Good Too. A little more variety in the breakfast menu wouldn't be a bad idea.
Location. Courteous staff. Hearty breakfast. Good lobby for meeting colleagues.
Very small room with a tiny window.
Friendly staff Food Parking
The room we finally got (the type we booked) was nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. What we expected. The breakfast was good, and included in the price of the room. We did not eat dinner or use their bar - we did not want to spend any more of our money at the location.
We had an issue with our travel plans, which I notified the hotel about in advance, by telephone and e-mail. Let's just say that the manager may have missed that -- the staff did not. Metropolitan is a nice hotel, but it left a bad taste in my mouth because of the misunderstanding.
lack of parking
good location, comfortable for business visit, free WiFi, good breakfast, nice views
renovations sometimes too loud and too late processed in the night, not concrete rules for smokers/non smokers
Everything was good
Room generally comfortable.
The GPS which came with my rental car delivered me to an address two blocks away. I suspect the GPS at fault, but am not sure. There was a lot of wasted time finding it.
Meeting by chance people we knew! the renovated rooms
They are renovating the hotel and the new rooms are very well done. Ask for a Superior Room. Breakfast was more then needed but average for Israel breakfasts. Location is wonderful with low cost parking on site. A block to the beach. Now that the renovations are almost done this is a good value for Israel where hotels are costly
