At the entrance to Ein Gedi's National Park, on the western shore of the Dead Sea, Ein Gedi Beit Sarah Guest House & Youth Hostel provides modern rooms and dormitories.
Score from 619 reviews Very good
The Kibbutz Hotel has a great location, just a 5-minute drive from the Dead Sea. Free entrance is available to Ein Gedi's private beach and the nearby spa's mineral pools.

Opened in 2010, Eden Jerusalem Hotel is owned and run by a local family. Featuring free parking and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, it is in a quiet neighborhood of Jerusalem.
Score from 294 reviews Good
The location and view is wonderful. Room is spacious and clean. Dinner and breakfast is a spread. This is essentially a camping ground with pockets of luxury (private rooms) but the views should make up for it. 15mins drive to Mineral Beach at Dead Sea.
There are flies, despite the fly traps.
The location and the view is perfect. Close to En Gedi. The dinner was special. Enjoyed our stay.
WiFi was poor in room.
- great view over the dead sea - good breakfast and dinner - edi, the boss is very friendly and helpful - simple but good room
When traveling from Jerusalem to Eilat, we were keen to explore the rich and beautiful En Gedi region to visit the iconic Dead Sea, walk the breath-taking wadi trails and swim in the stunning mountain pools. Metzoki Dragot was the perfect base for all of this. We watched the sun setting over the Jordanian hills from a beautiful Morrocan lookout. We slept in clean, modern rooms with en-suite bathrooms. While wild ibix grazed within meters of where we sat. The welcome was so warm and Lillian cooked us the mist beautiful food we eat in the whole trip. A thoroughly wonderful experience.
great view, chill place, comfortable room
terrible value for money, no dinner - and there's nowhere nearby to get food at night.
Great views to the dead sea from the top of the mountain.
Troubles to reach hostel without car.
Views, food, room, helpful staff...thank You very much.
georgous view over the Dead Sea plenty of ok breakfast
sleeping on (quite dirty) mattresses on the floor, no underlay sleeping bags
I stayed three nights in one of the tents at Metzoke Dragot. The scenery is like an eagle's nest, high above the dead sea. It is an ideal base for exploring the shores, spas and rivers in the valley. Very friendly and helpful hosts and staff! I will always come back here.
The staff was very welcoming, hepfull and friendly! - The view on the cliffs and the dead sea is breathtaking. We actuyally saw a few Nubian ibexes (i.e. wild mountain goats) - The food was delicious and plentyful!
The place is a little rustic, but clean. It reminded me of my summer camp years. This was really not an issue for us, as we are used to traveling in various conditions. It's probably not the place for people looking for a luxury hotel. But if you are the adventure type of person, go for it!
location is good, food as well.
The receptionist were absolutely not friendly, the way she communicated with us is far away from the hospitality. The gate: nobody reply at the reception when we wait at the gate in the evening after 7 or morning before 8.30., there is no reception for tel. to call them either... so how to enter????
View on the dead sea. Our cottage house inside - despite not very appealing exterior, inside it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and the reception desk guy was very helpful!
Sounds of the disco from the youth camp, but it was bearable, nothing extremely loud. The road up there is GREAT but also challenging. I recommend not to drive there first time after dark.
The place with a Nice View on Dead sea. The diner buffet: very good
The person of the hotel who gave us as the only address to swim into the Dead Sea: a private beach on which he may have a commission. We discovered that you can test the sea for free (with showers) at only 10 minutes driving. Not very smart. - expensive rate for a room without TV/internet access and very noisy - nothing to do after 8pm - it's more a camping than an hotel which is surprising with such a tariff. - goats on foto? Probably gone ;) - would be a good address for a cheaper price (similar price but without service compared to 4 stars hotels with swimming pools in Tel Aviv and Haifa)
Amazing breakfast (especially fresh juice). Very good location.
Price is good for the location (the Dead sea), but too much in comparison to rest of the country.
We really enjoyed our stay at Metzoke Dragot. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, our room was very tidy and comfortable and the hot shower was a bliss after few days in the desert.
Large selection of food for dinner. Very good, like home cooking!
Need shower heads on the water pipe in the shower.
Wonderful location with a unique view on the Dead Sea, very quiet. We had dinner there and it was good.
We think that the price is too expensive because the accomodation is very simple. We think also that they should organize to avoid the presence of flies (really a lot) over the food.
Unique place, warm welcome!
The location & accommodation
Slightly out-dated & rustic facilities
The setting and views were sensational. The staff/owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The food for breakfast and dinner was plentiful and tasty. The room was spotless and the bathroom spotless and functional. The location is quiet and allows you to appreciate the stunning views and stars.
- excellent site and view - very good food - hide-away experience - very rustical
- matresses could be of younger age
Its a miracle place really! In the middle of nowhere) Stay here for several days, one is not enough))) Sea is just in front of, rocks are behind, birds are above, no internet)) Perfect, especially after noisy Jerusalim. simple clean rooms. tasty meals))
Amazing location, extremely nice staff and delicious breakfast and dinner. Great value for the money. We had a fabulous stay in february. Although the dead sea is close to any city in Israel, why not enjoy the way and stay here?, definitely 100% recommended.
