Momo's Hostel

Great value for the money. My room was clean and well kept with a nice balcony facing the street. Perfect location and a very helpful staff was a big plus for me. More than adequate for a backpacker like myself or solo traveller. I will visit Momo's again.

Can be hot if your room does not have a/c. Smart to bring a portable fan or pick one up at a nearby shop.

The dorms are hot and poorly organized. The door is almost always open so leaving personal things was risky. Disorganized system of assigning beds, my things were moved from my bed, and someone slept in it while I was gone.

It's easy to find and set in a prime location in the heart of Tel Aviv. I loved that it was just 2 minutes from the beach and provided excellent access to all the places I wanted to go to. Cheap beer and super fast FREE Wi-Fi were nice extras.

Can be a bit noisy at night. Bringing along a set of ear plugs is not a bad idea.

Great social experience and lots of chance to make friends. All the restaurants and bars nearby plus the pristine beaches.

Dirty and very cold, wish I spent a little bit more

Stayed in private room that had a private bathroom (#34). Price was very cheap (about $50 per night). Staff was pleasant and helpful. Plenty of hot water. Option to store luggage for 5 NIS per day (before and after stay). Good transportation (buses, sherut, cabs). Good location (near beach). Room was quiet.

Room was not clean when I arrived. There was dirt and filth everywhere. I needed to clean it by myself. Bed was long enough but too narrow for comfortable sleeping. Room was tiny. More a closet than a room. Smoking should NOT be allowed in the lobby. Smoking should be allowed on outside porch only. The AC and window were too high to reach in my room. The hotel should supply a stool for accessing AC and window.

Momo's is located right in the middle of town, near the bars and markets. I met some great people in the hostel and the staff was very friendly. I could even enjoyed the beautiful beach in the middle of December... unbelievable ( :

If you can, stay in another hostel. This is the worst hostel I have been to in my life.

Friendly, helpful staff. Liked the atmosphere and the utilitarian, slightly worn decor. Other guests were pleasant, not at all noisy or troublesome. I personally don't like luxury-type hotels, and this had all the basics, and an appealing "zionist-pioneer" feel. I was very grateful for the gynormous fan in my room. Although November, it was hot and humid and the fan was better than a/c (for me, anyway)

Awesome reception, very friendly staff, great value and very close to beach and rest of city, would stay again!

Great location and price.

Very shabby. Hostel is kept clean inside but is so worn-out from outside and inside that you feel ashamed to walk in. Some reconstruction would help if do not aspire to be the cheapest of tlv.

I thank ever so much the staff of the Momo's hostel. The location of the hostel in the city is very good and I can get every place of the city from the hostel.

I can not say bad about the hostel because the price of the hostel matches to that what there is.

Friendly staff (for Israeli standards) for a reasonable price (again for Israeli standards). Central location and good connections to main points of interest either on foot or by public transport.

Our room did not have and ac and it got really hot. Miserable breakfast if you can call it one (tea/nescafé and some cake).

Open 24 hours to check in. The staff was so nice!

There is a fan and a tv in the room so it's good! Staff was helpful. Oh, and they have free Wifi!

It was too expensive for being a hostel, even though we had our own room. The room was clean but drab, the bathroom minimal. However, we met some great people and it was very close to the beach.

Very flendly athosphere, a bit noisy due to a club neaby, but very conveniente location, with a 24 hours supermarket neaby and the best change bureau closeby.

Excellent location, free wifi connection and a very friendly and helpful personnel. I was checking out on Saturday when there were no buses, trains, "sheruts", and they helped me to find a person to share the taxi.

Very poor cleanliness, no sound isolation (I could not sleep till 4 or 5 am because of the music coming from some pub or disco situated near the hostel), cigarrete smoke coming from outside.

The Hotel staff was friendly and helpful

Stay away from the Hostel!!!!!!! It was very very loud all the time because under the Hostel is a Disco/Bar. You must hear techno music all night long and in addition you hear the people celebrating in front of the bar on the street. The shower and toilette was very dirty - disgusting. I stayed 21 nights in Israel and this was deffenitely not the cheapest but the dirtest place. I spent only 1 night there because - this was enough.
