The Montefiore Hotel has undergone a wonderful transformation. The hotel looks great, the staff is pleasant and helpful, the breakfast buffet is satisfying. You can't beat the location. |

Hotel has excellent location in the nice quite street, very close to Ben Yehuda and King George str. where you can take buses to all parts of the city, walking distance to the old city and Mamilla shopping center. Hotel is very clean, room was spacious, bathroom clean and new, the bed was very comfortable... hotel stuff polite and friendly. Breakfast was the same every day. It was fine but it could be more fruits, dairy products.... |

The location is excellent as is the value for money. Nothing fancy but there is everything you need in a good, utilitarian room. Poor choice of TV channels in English. No face cloths. |

The staff were quite helpful The hotel is slated for renovation and really needs it. I felt transported back to the 80's. It was a modest place, a bit shabby, small room, hard beds (twin pushed together) and very basic. |

the restaurant at the corner called Nadi. Also the location, easy to walk everywhere the rooms badly need to be redone. It does not give the impression of cleanliness. The restaurant is totally unappealing. We had breakfast somewhere else even though the one at the hotel was included but seemed non edible. |

The hotel staff was very helpful. We didn’t expect luxury, but we were simply shocked. The hotel was built probably 50 years ago, and looked this age. The beds were the worse we saw lately and the carpet was dirty. We complained and got the 7th floor suite, which was larger, but at the same pitiful condition. Luckily, we needed to stay only one night, but still suffered through the breakfast, which was laughable. The main issue is not the hotel condition, but the mismatch between the price and the accommodation. This hotel is a great deal for a price range of $80-$100 and acceptable up to $120, but we paid $155. They are in the process of renovating, so better wait till they complete the renovations before you try this hotel. |

It was quiet and in a convenient location. The front dest staff was very helpful and nice. Not all the lights worked in the room and the door handle was loose on the outside of the door. |

Very good value for the money. The room was quite small, but: clean, very good mattress, good pressure in the showers, and a typical big israeli breakfast. wifi worked perfectly in our room. we try hard not to overpay for hotels, and would absolutely stay here again. |

Nice location very central. Hotel is very pleasant and personnel is friendly and very helpful. Clenliness is also very good. The price/quality ratio was very good on Jerusalem standards. I also had a very tasty and sofisticated dinner at the hotel's restaurant. |

we booked tripple room but when we got to the hotel we asked the mgr to change our room to bouble since our 3rd party cacelled his trip with us and way they changed the room but still chsrged us for tripple and refused to change the room rate. i was overpriced. who's going to refund my money back for the differnance!! no parking lot for the cars, |

The breakfasts were excellent We were put in a room that had no elevator access and had to carry our luggage up two floors. The room was old and dirty. We had to switch rooms. The staff was not very helpful until I had to demand a change in rooms. |

the hotel is in a good location, very central and yet quietly located on a pedestrian street. It's not new, but in very reasonable condition. Beds a bit small but quite comfortable. there was reasonable good choice for breakfast, but it was slightly lower quality than other places we stayed at in Israel |
