Good quality hotel, generous breakfast, spacious room, good location - just 12 mins on foot to the old city, a lot of bars, cafes and restaurants around nothing

The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet very fulfilling. The shower in my room was a mess, it was one of those microphone-like European showers. It was difficult to point it at the right point without making a mess. It is not very close to the old city.

Room was spacious, had a fridge so we could chill drinks and keep a small amount of perishable food, very comfortable. Depending on your expectations of breakfast, the choice was somewhat limited, especially for hot food. Also the hotel made not provision or suggestions regarding a meal on Friday night and you are left to fend for yourself which can be difficult in Jerusalem where all kosher restaurants close for the Sabbath.

Very friendly and helpful staff. It was nice to walk the way to the old city. Room was very good and clean. We liked this place. We stayed there 3 nights. Would have loved to stay a 4th night but because we had to book again, the price would have been overcharged. Not very customer friendly! Though the receptionist tried is best, the price could not be changed so we decided to go to another hotel. Pity.

Simple and clean hotel in the center of Jerusalem. Breakfast is very basic. Not much to like or not to like. If you need a place for sleepover, this hotel is perfect. If you are looking for something special, look elsewhere.

Its location Expensive for the instalations and breakfast. Bathroom was old and a bit deteriorated. Breakfast wasn´t very good. I would have thought it an OK deal for half the price.

The neighborhood was very good and safe to walk at night. Just 20 minutes from the old city of jerusalem. The receptionist at the hotel during the night shift wasn't really nice. We called several times for asking shampoo and he never answered. We had to go down to the reception and look for him. He didnt gave us shampoo!!!

The location was great near the old city and shopping on Ben Yehuda Street. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel is a little hard to find. The street in front of the hotel is closed so you half to carry your bags at least a half a block away. Some of the staff were very helpful while others were not so.

Clean, very comfortable beds ( good mattresses and pillows) Great location, a 20 minute walk to the old city and close bars and restaurant trendy area of Jaffa etc. WiFi for room as advertised was not working over our 5 day stay. Breakfast ok , basic not a lot of choice, no fresh fruit as per other hotel packages

The location is excellent-- on a pedestrian-only street, a short walk to the Mehane Jehuda market and about 15 minute walk to the Old City. Good clean hotel that is a great value for the location. The service varied a bit depending upon who was working the front desk. Generally helpful but some workers were more willing to go out their way to be of assistance while others did just their job.

Location is nice, view is not very ok (to the nextdoor house), but if you want a peaceful week-end, that's it. Staff is very polite and ready to help. Very clean. Food is good and shabbes dinner was great. We were late for dinner (and breakfasts) and there was no problem with it. To be very hypercritical, there were 2 beds instead of one double, it was a bit uncomfortable. In all other respects everything was to a high professional standard.

convenience 1)bath tubs should have better safety rails for ease in getting in and out -- this is really dangerous! 2)breakfast is meager considering most hotels. Breads and rolls were cold, not warm, and the yogurts were not kept on ice, and were really too warm - bordering on hazardous

The location was very good and we had a good room (top floor at the end towards the pedestrian area). The room was rather comfortable (but I hear there are rooms in this hotel which are not so nice). The breakfast was extremely disappointing. No fresh fruit (which is incredible for Israel), rather bad coffee (you had to pay extra for expresso). I have been to many similar hotels later during our trip in Israel and can compare it. Major disappointment for the price of this hotel. The Wifi was not working reliably, it kept stopping after every 5 minutes which was bad for Skype calls. I had notified the staff immediately and repeatedly but they didn't / couldn't fix it. (Again, I have been using Wifi in 6 more hotels during my trip - Montefiore was the first stop. I didn't have issues anywhere else.) Some information about bus lines from the staff at the reception was wrong or not very helpful. Overall, the hotel was ok (again, the location was the best thing) but the breakfast is almost a dealbreaker. Try to get a good rate offer, we missed one by a few days and what we paid was too much.
