In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.
Score from 1386 reviews Good

Hotel is placed well (5 mins walk to Ben Jehuda street, 20 mins walk to Jaffa Gate, 20 mins walk to Cetral bus station), staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast on sabat was quite poor, on the other days was good/very good.
Windows do not seal very well, which makes outside noises quite hearable and cold coming inside. On the other hand, the street is quite silent and in room heating/AC works properly, so it is not a big deal. As I understand, praxis of the hotel is to write down number of guest's credit card and the security code :-(. It maks one feel very uncomfortable.
All the staff were very, very helpful. Quiet street. Lots of good eating places around. The weekly arts and craft market was just up the lane and worth a look. Couple of busy cafes up the lane were open on Shabbat for real coffee and fresh food...naughty, but nice!
Breakfast was okay, but lacked service, such as fresh omelettes or pancakes made for you. No parking outside the hotel and difficult to find. You need good directions.
Some people complain about lower ranked hotels because they expect 4/5 star luxury but don't want to pay for it. The Montefiore is very centrally located for shops and amenties. The breakfast was decent with a reasonable choice. Wifi worked, room clean and beds comfortable. Recommended.
Just about everything. The staff makes you feel satisfied and significant. For the price is fantastic.
We arrived early and were offered access to our room and we had an evening flight and were offered to keep our room until 8pm- both very helpful
Good location for my needs. Decent breakfast. Good wifi in the lobby, spotty in the room.
Hallway noise very evident in room. Door did not close well and was loosely secured by chain. Held luggage before check-in was not well secured. Room overdue for renovation.
The attention and friendliness of the staff.
Lack of a bar and relaxation facilities.
The room was wonderfoul and the staff was so kind. Very clean and the position is fantastic. .
The only thing is that you must to double check that the rooms you reserved are those in the pictures
Location. Breakfast choices
A/C in room did not work. Front desk person came to try to adjust. Finally switched rooms. Quality of A/C was still fair.
Well located on a nice quiet street and very close to the centre of town.
Room was very dark.
Location Breakfasts were yummy
Good location, nice neighborhood, quiet (pedestrian) street, good deal for a city stay
Small rooms, moderate breakfast
Loved everything. Room on 7th floor was gorgeous.
SHABAT!! LOL Everything is closed. :(
Overcharge for the local phone calls
THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT, THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, THE BREAKFASTS WERE VERY GOOD AND THE ROOM WAS VERY NICE
THERE WAS HANGING SPACE BUT TOO LITTLE SHELVING AND WE VIRTUALLY LIVED OUT OF SUITCASES
I loved everything.
Good breakfast , room was bright and fairly large, very good location, helpful staff .
I paid 125 USD per night, and they didnt even offer shampoo satchets . Wifi was a night mare.
location excellent, breakfast very good, comfortable lobby, helpful staff booking sherut to airport
very intermittent wi-fi, quite expensive
Location was both sweet and perfect. Walking distance to main attractions and if not public transportation available right around the corner.
Breakfast was quite poor.
Great location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Located on a lovely quiet street in the center of Jerusalem
I do not recommend staying here. The receptionists have the attitudes of disgruntled union workers, or keep you waiting 20 min while they are on a cigarette break. The rooms (we stayed in 2 and saw another 2) needed some serious cleaning. Even the suite (where we were upgraded to) smelled like cigarette smoke, and had used coffee cups left in the room. Just a few steps up the hill there are wonderful cafés, which was a godsend because the breakfast was inedible.
Everything.I stay there regularly.
Nothing..Great place to stay
First front desk girl was excellent. Breakfast was very good.
Hair dryer was broken. Had to finally go down for towels after waiting 40 minutes. Coffee pot had no outlet. A/c had issues
Location and breakfast was delicious and fresh
Third bed put in room uncomfortBle
