The Renaissance Tel Aviv is right on the beach. The hotel offers a spa center with indoor swimming pool, and rooms with views of the sea, the marina or of Jaffa.

The staff was excellent, we got married and arrived at the hotel at two am to a parki space that they reserved especially for us. We arrived to a room with a surprised bottle of champagne and cheese and crackers with a plate of fruit. The staff was very nice and helped make it a perfect wedding night.
The view, the location.
our bedroom floor always felt sandy. The pillows were very lumpy.
The hotel is right on the beach and not far from the main part of Tel Aviv. The rooms were OK and the breakfasts were huge
The lack of free wifi access in this day and age is ridiculous and the hotel need to rethink this. We were told at reception that it was not worth paying as there is free wifi access in most of Tel Aviv (indeed there is free wifi two minutes walk along the beachfront from the hotel!!!!
THE ROOM I WAS GIVEN WAS ON ONE OF TOP FLOORS,- AS I HAD REQUESTED,- WITH A WONDERFUL SEA VIEW! ALL THE MEMBERS OF STAFF, I DEALT WITH WERE VERY KIND AND HELPFUL.
The hotel was not fully booked so we were upgraded to a bigger room with sea view for my wife's birthday.
Hotel is a bit tatty & tired & the plumbing wasn't great
Location close to beach, beautifull lobby.
Room was not fully re-stocked for the second day (coffee, sugar, creamer)
Room was ready when we arrived Lovely wine and chocolate provided as complimentary welcome gift Efficient security warnings during rocket attacks
So called 'Triple room' had no third bed Air-conditioning couldn't get the room cooler than 26 degrees C 1st floor noisy compressor just below balcony No breakfast as part of the deal - outrageous as the price was $400 per night!! High cost of parking even though it was outside and very small and tight
Location, concierge, food...
Cut my foot on glass in the room. Hotels response was to clean (althought not thoroughly) and lave a plate of fruit in the room. Poor effort really - due to a lousy cleaner
It was clean, with a nice ambiance. Food was excellant. Easy access to the beach. decent pool. comfortable room.
no free wifi. refrigerator in the room was the mini bar. We had to ask them to remove all their items, and it kept our stuff cool, not cold. parking cost 60 shekels a day!
Liked the room, the view with a patio. Staff were helpful and responsive.. Would have liked an alternative place to eat other than very expensive dining room especially over Shabbat. N
Lack of control at the pool, kids splashing, jumping with total disregard for adults sitting and no one told them to stop so I had to leave the pool area.
Food, Location, Staff, Room, Cleanliness
Having complained about getting the most run down suite in the hotel, head of guest services lady (can't remember her name) was actually helpful and did a good job to make a horrible situation less bad.
It was overpriced, the rooms were old, the staff was 'tired', calling front desk meant waiting for 5 minutes until someone answers the phone. There was renovation in the room next door. The rooms themselves were depressing.
stayed here twice. 1st stay had broken glass in my room & I cut my foot. Room was immediately cleaned but they did not move furniture and still bits under the desk. 2nd stay there was broken glass in the breakfast room. We pointed this out to a waitress and she picked up a few pieces but it was not swept up. Dangerous practices.
No direct access to beach
Very nice kitchen,beach
cleaning not very good, for a two week only one time the bed linen have been changed
No free wifi-except 1/2hr free per day per one device! Did not like that people attending seminar at hotel came down to pool area in large nbrs to smoke

Didn't have own chairs and pavilion on the beach.
I am a former nation brand strategist (in other words I help countries market themselves for tourism and investment) and have traveled to over 70 countries for a living over the course of 20 years. My husband and I are both now in the hospitality industry ourselves. This is the first online review I have written because my family's experience in this hotel made our trip to Israel a complete disappointment and an extremely frustrating experience. The current customer relations manager needs a course in actual customer service. Let me explain. This hotel charges 5 star prices we padi 450 per room per night for a 2 star hotel at best. Aside from the location, the "hotel" is more like a "hostel" with a lovely ocean front location. We arrived and the rooms which were marketed as sea view had a tiny glimpse of the ocean if you stood in one corner of the room. When I walked into the bathroom the toilet was un flushed with feces in the toilet and they brought up a baby bath that was filthy and full of hair and dirt. The pipes in our Parents room was leaking all over the bathroom floor. We immediately rushed to try to check out after a dirty toilet and dirty bath tub. They told us no we would have to pay a 1000 usd cancellation fee. In retrospect I would have paid to leave. Here is what happened next: A pair of very nice shoes went missing for the next 2 days then magically were returned to our room on our last day with various false explanations of what happened to them....we were told they were returned to another room, then told they were found under the bed where about 20 people including their staff had looked already, then told the maid had put them in the lost and found. If we had not called their staff over the course of 3 days morning and night, I have no doubt the shoes would have been stolen forever.
Location. Staff did their best to be helpful.
I was travelling with my elderly mother who uses a wheel chair and there was no access to beach from hotel. On the last couple of days one of the managers suggested we used the staff lift to get down but it wasn't ideal as we had to push the chair through the laundry which was very narrow.
