Mount of Olives Hotel  

Mountain View and the village around and hearing the cocks singing in the morning but I could not see them

Great place, everything great (particularly breakfast!)

Bit complicated to commute to the old city, but great location anyways!

The way the Palestinian community in the area solved a couple of issus

The booking via yr organisation did not arrive at Mt Olives Hotel. Everyting was solved at the spot by the friendly staff giving me a special adventure when I was walking to a one night stay at Seven Arches Hotel. So I even have to thank you for this experience, but it is good to know that not all confirmations come through.

location of hotel near golden gate - excellent. amazing view of ierusalim. for these reasons we choose this hotel. good breakfast.

Very good location on the top of eleon mountain, grand view of old Jerusalem from mountain, good place for Orthodox pilgrims - near most holy places :Tomb of Mary, Gethsemane garden, Church of ascension, not far from Tomb of Christ. From Gethsemane to head odf mnt ( where hotel is) 500 stairs up ( or taxi)

Cold in rooms, poor breakfast, arabic dirty area around

Staff was very friendly and helpful Breakfasts are nice and free tea/coffee is always available Rooms are clean and neat Location is quite close to historical part of the city: you're right between the Gethsimania garden and the Ascension monastery

It has been quite cold in the rooms in the night Shower might've been better Hotel is located in the arab part of Jerusalem, so you can't get to it by Jew transport (E.G., by bus from airport) and you have to change buses

Yes, it is run down, it is not clean, but it does have its positive sides.

Been on the Mount of Olives

So far this is the only hotel where the front desk did not recognize my booking through booking.com, when I checked in. So when the front desk said that they do not find my booking, I was horrified, but somehow the front desk telephoned somebody to else to find my booking record. Many things are ragged, but I love this atmosphere. It is located just above the Church of All Nations (I found it only when I paid tremendous amount of money to the taxi driver)...it was just there.

The breakfast was excellent except for artificial color orange juice.

Location, free Wi-Fi and very friendly and professional staff.

It's worn down, the bathroom is close to falling apart, the blankets were full of hair.

Spacious room, carpet on the floor, Internet in the room.

Bedsheets were not big enough and kept slipping off the bed.

The location was within walking distance from the important historic sites.

First of all, want to thank all the staff there. Location is great, just 20 mins walk to Dung Gate and here you are, straight the walls of the Old City. Great view from the hotel to the Judean desert. Another few minutes and you are in the Gethsemane Garden. The rooms are perfect for such a price, huge bed, cute and tidy bathroom, aircon. Breakfast is deli, a lot of varieties, fresh, all perfect. I will go for this hotel again when I am back to Jerusalem. A very special thanks to Mohamed, who`s been my guide and adviser. Thank you for your kind, warm support and all the help in planning my very best time in Jerusalem.

Its dated. It is clean, but the place needs to be painted and freshened up. the room I had was near a road and a got a lot of noise in my room, But for the price, its close, and clean. after all is a 2 star...

La ubicacion de hotel es buena, si bien especialmente durante la noche aparenta no ser del todo segura, no hemos tenido ninguna novedad al respecto. El desayuno es acorde a lo que ofrecen.

Si bien eramos conscientes de la calidad de servicio que estabamos contratando, y que corresponde a un hotel de dos estrellas, en varias ocasiones consideramos que no estuvieron a la altura de lo que ofrecen en su publicidad. Estuvimos en el hotel 3 noches, publicada como: habitacion doble con tv, secador de cabellos y otras comodidades. Nunca nos cambiaron las toallas. La alfombra tenia un fuerte olor a humedad, nos quedamos sin jabon y tuvimos que pedirlo, esperando una hora para que solucionen el problema. Pedimos secador de cabellos, etc..y cuando planteabamos alguna necesidad descrita en lo que ofrecía la habitación, demostraban dificultad para entender el ingles, pedí hablar con el encargado y me dijeron que no se podía. Eso si, cuando debían cobrar hablaban un ingles fluido. Definitivamente considero que por el costo que pagamos, se pueden conseguir mejores servicios.Y Repito que no esperabamos un servicio mayor del que ofrecen en su publicidad, pero tampoco que la habitacion no tenga lo que se paga.
