Nofe Habashan

We stayed in the wooden cabins. The hottub was delightful and relaxing. We slept like roses in the excellent bed. The breakfast buffet was very large, with many different types of salads, cheeses and breads. Freshly scrambled eggs were also made when asked for. Breakfast time was from 08.00 till 11.00, ideal for the early birds and the snoozers. In the late afternoon, they provided a soup-, coffee&tea- and cake-buffet for the guests at the reception room, which was very pleasant. The garden of the facility was very nice, even in rainy weather. A little stream ran through the garden. All roads to the cabins were paved with wood. When we arrived, the hostess noticed a broken light and immediately called the technician to fix it. He showed up 5 min later with new lightbulb. The kibbutz is located in the middle of the upper galilee, so it was for us a good base(camp) for exploring the upper galilee and the golan heights.

Breakfast was held in the dining room. With many other people and children around, it became very loud. For dinner, you needed to cook yourself (there is a local minimarket in the kibbutz) or go outside the kibbutz to the nearest gasoline station with restaurants (10-15 min. Drive on a very dark road by night). One night an alarm went off in a nearby cabin, and it took the staff 30 minutes and a phone call to stop the sound.
