Notre Dame Center

The building is amazing and in an excellent location for the the Old City. The roof top bar has incredible views.

The rooms were clean and freshly decorated but spartan to say the least! The maintenance men woke us up at 8.00am on Saturday morning talking loudly to each other along the corridor. The staff in the breakfast room were all talking far too loudly to each other.

Cleanliness of hotel, location.

Restaurant/bar: Service was very slow. Charges for room: I had booked online the only available room left (triple) at 270$. When my friend and I arrived at the hotel after 12 noon, the clerk said that their computer was not working and that we could only check in at 2 p.m. I told them that I had booked through booking.com and asked if they had a cheaper room (2 beds instead of 3). Manager said that we could take only 2 beds instead of 3. We said that since we could access a room before 2 p.m. that we would have lunch and come back. We got a room with 2 beds which was fine. However, upon check out (we stayed 2 nights), manager said that, even though he had given us a cheaper room, he could not reimburse us the difference because we had booked through booking.com. I had to pay 540$. I must say that this is very disappointing. So, now I ask you, can you reimburse me the difference from a triple to a room with 2 beds please. Nicole Demers

Everything was OK exept of reception.

They have forgotten to book us a shuttle bus to the aeroport and we had to pay much more for a taxi!!!!

Everything was perfect!!! Very good location, it's near the New Gate of Old City. I like everything in this hotel.

close to old city, easy to get all around. Good breakfasts with big choices. Parking is available. Next time visiting Jerusalem will stay at Notre Dame. It is the best place for city trip especially for Old Jerusalem.

It's really pretty and modern

Our room was dirty, the front desk couldn't give us directions, we asked for 1 bed (for 2 people) and they gave us 2 single beds.

Location. Staff is helpful though not extremely knowledgable as I think most are not from the city.

Food was average.

Very pleasant and tranquile atmosphere with mainly Christian pilgrims / tourists. Excellent location just outside the Old Town of Jerusalem. Friendly and helpful staff of the hotell. No television in the room was a great plus.

Relatively expensive rooms.

I did not know the way to this hotel, but because it is a big castle with distinctive, so I could find it even from a distance it looked in the car.

wifi fee is expensive.

Quality of food for lunch or dinner in coffe shop was excellent, as also service, but breakfast was rather poor, considering the price paid. Wine and Cheese restaurant on roof looked promising but sadly had no opportunity to try it. Location is excellent being just opposite New Gate and 5 minutes from Jaffa Gate

No tv in rooms Poor heating ( hot air); very noisy. Wireless internet did not work in my room so had to go to lobby to work. Hotel has an extremely annoying policy of quoting everything (even menu is restaurants) in a foreign currency, namely us Dollars. What is wrong with Shekels? After all you get the bill converted into Shekels ! This is not a negative comment but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is not religious as it is owned by rc church and caters to many priests/pilgrims.

Restaurants (for of them) are excellent, and the one on the roof offers a breathtaking view of the Old City. 5. Close (walking distance ) to Old and new parts of the City of Jerusalem. 6. For facilities and amenities it is a bargain amongst the 5+ star hotels in Jerusalem

Nothing. A perfect hotel

The location was excellent to gain access to the Old City. The accommodation has recently been refurbished and is of good quality. The Centre is set back from the main road and the rooms are quiet.

We stayed in room 122 and the room was dark. It was on the rear aspect of the building and did not get enough light.

so so glad we chose this beautiful Catholic lodging! Food was excellent and having daily Mass conveniently available in the hotel-castle was fantastic. Wish we could have stayed much longer!

The location and comfort is unbeatable.

The hotel is located near the walls of the Old City (Christian Quarter). 3 minutes walk. Neat rooms with high ceilings. Good breakfasts. Excellent restaurants. Church is located on the hotel grounds.

no TV no kettle in a room

Extremely convenient location to the Old City and reasonable access for guests with vehicle. Wifi is not free but reasonably priced. Buffet breakfast is of high quality but fair range of choice. Buffet dinner is of fair range of choice but very reasonably priced.

Minimal amenities in room. No Wifi connection at room even I paid for the service. Staff are not too ready to help in most cases.

The location would be perfect for you, if you came in Jerusalem to visit the Old City. The hotel is 1 minute walk from the New Gate, 7 to the Jaffa Gate (if you go through the Old City) and 15 to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. It is especially designed for those who are on a pilgrimage, there is even a chapel on the 1st floor, and one of the Popes stayed there, unfortunately i don't remember which. (don't want to hurt anyone's feelings). The Hotel is also famous for its restaurant on the roof, which provides your the unforgettable view over the Old City (again).

The room wasn't very clean actually, the bed looked like someone slept there before, there were even spots on the sheets. The staff reacted immediately, explaining, that was the old set of linen (by old they of course meant old, not just used), and changed it in a couple of minutes. Still not a nice feeling for someone, who paid 200 usd per night. no TV in the room, if it's important for you.

The location.

Great location and amenities. Clergy and Pro-American sentiment, helpful in creating ease for Middle East travel. Amazing roof view, word on the street is "best view in town", I agree it was fabulous!!!

En general, un hotel muy correcto.Personal amable y eficaz y habitaciones bien equipadas(estuvimos en una triple).Buffet del desayuno amplio y bueno. No tengo objeciones.muy buena situación(a un paso de la ciudad vieja,puerta de Jaffa)
