Ein Bokek is easy accessible by public transportation.

Ein Bokek is easy accessible by public transportation. It is located along the cost of Dead Sea,has many comfortable hotels to stay. It has nice beaches. Costal area is newly rebuilt. Has separated lines for bikers or wakers. It is easy to make day trips, or tours to historical sights beautiful cities, vineyards, zoos from here. Here is a Shopping mall with some top European and US brands, nice cafes, delicious bakeries. Jewelry store is located in David hotel. It is high quality designer jewelry. I love silver, never left empty handed. Dead sea cosmetic, probably the most noticeable attraction of this place. All brands and varieties, may be found in many stores, or tasted in spas. I love this place, hope to visit again

    Very quiet and relaxed place.

Very quiet and relaxed place. Close to visit other areas such as Masada national park or Ein Gedi by car, taxi or bus. Not many options of places to eat outside of hotel and it is a place literally to relax so do not expect a nightlife as not what the area is about.

This is the Dead Sea, hot sea water, coarse salt sea floor and HOT. A cool day is 35 C, so you need a hat, water, sunscreen/sun block and foot protection if your feet are sensitive. Get a half meal plan, you can easily get by with lunch and dinner. Mix sea fun with pool time.

It's an incredibly beautiful place, the views are magnificent. It's almost a spiritual experience. It's very hot so you need to have water with you at all times and always cover your head. The heat is coming from everywhere so it's easy to get a heat stroke. If you want to go hiking, always look for hike trails and don't go into the desert if you don't know what you're doing - you can get lost and there are wild animals (like ibexes and leopards). If you go into the Dead Sea, always listen to the instructions - float on your back only and don't put your head under water. There are direct busses to Ein Gedi and Masada - both worth visiting. Buying bus tickets can be confusing as you can't pay cash - you need a Rav-Kav card which you can charge with your credit card in many ATMs, the card itself costs ₪5 (I think it can only be bought in their offices, we bought it at the bus station in Arad). I believe there's also an option to buy tickets through Moovit app (I haven't tried it myself, I've only used it for checking the routes and bus numbers).

At the hotel, the breakfast was very good.

At the hotel, the breakfast was very good. Lots and lots of food and a great variety. I loved the cheese cake! For lunch or supper I would go to the Aroma in the small mall opposite the hotel. They have excellent service, a variety of salads and sandwiches to sit down or take away and great coffee. There is also the big new mall nearby and a variety of shops, kiosks and stalls next to it with minimarkets, fast food and sit down places to eat, fashion shops, shoe shops, cosmetic products of the Dead sea and more. It is easy to get around Ein Bokek. Most things are nearby. You don't have to walk far to get from one place to another. But a car would be handy if you would want to get from the North end to the South! e.g. if you stay in a North hotel and want to get to the South end where there are separate bathing facilities for the religious at Hamei Zohar near the Leonardo club hotel. I think there is a bus service, but I don't know the frequency of it. In addition, the hotels can call a taxi or shuttle service for you.

In addition to the dead sea this is close to some beautiful nature hikes with waterfalls- nachal david, nachal arugot. There are also jeep rides nearby and this hotel gave us a voucher to use the spa facilities at another hotel. This hotel had a pool and massage parlor on site.

I regret I did not believe the earlier reviews on Booking.com that clearly warned of what can come because I have stayed in some spotless beautiful Isrotel hotels. The hotel may be renovated but there seems to be different standards to what renovated means. I both wrote to the hotel and on spot asked them to check that the room is renovated and they said yes. However, the table was scratched, bathroom not renovated and not clean, the bathrobe was dirty yellow (!) around the neck and inside, and there was a cockroach on the 8th floor room.

I liked especially the location of the hotel, in the heart of En Bokek. Only crossing the street and wonderful En Bokek beach was there. I also liked the Spa in the hotel, wonderful two heated sea water pools and jaccuzzis. The breakfast was also owesome with a lot of healthy food. The studio was spacious and clean. I enjoyed my short vacation very much. I usually stop with my tourist group in En Bokek for floating in Dead Sea. This time I came with my friend to have relaxing mini vacation there.

Hotel is right on the beach, actually with it's own beach. The pool area is great as well. We got an opgrade for free which meant we got a room on the top floor faacing the Dead Sea. All rooms face the Dead Sea. Breajfast is amazing. There is so much to chose from. Dinner likewise absolutely excellent. I will defintely go back. We felt so welcome. Staff and manager extremwly nice. Thank you for a great stay.

Wonderful hotel at the Dead Sea. Upscale in every way. Staff very helpful was upgraded to a nice suite on top floor with a great view of the sea and men's of Jordan (Moab). You need to book half board in Ein Bokek as no restaurants are available outside of hotels. The grounds are beautiful, the pool was excellent and the food was fantastic. You can't checkin on shabbat until about 3 to 4 pm.

The hotel is probably modest in comparation with others in the area, but the staff and the service was really top. We have been welcomed at thecheck in with products from dead sea and offered a free spa during our stay from the guy at the reception ( unfortunately I don´t know his name ). The spa was great. The room with sea view excellent as well. Food and dinner delicious !

The hotel is situated in the unique place (the Dead sea) and that fact crosses out everything. The food was good enough, liked it. Salt water and heated swimming pool in the spa area is really pleasurable, but dry and wet baths require renovation.

I have visited David Dead Sea Hotel many times over the past decade, but it is still not improving in specific areas such as hospitality. The only reason I would come to this hotel is for its spa facilities and treatments, and for the food.

The view of the Dead Sea is great and the hotel has a nice beach. One of the reception staff, Schlomit, was very sweet and tried hard to make us feel comfortable. She upgraded our room to a suite with a big patio/balcony.
